- This is the Sephiroth's combo video for the Gamefaqs' Combo Thread. I apologize if I played like a noob, but this was done with the only purpose of showing combos, nothing else. Sephiroth (me-Lv100) vs. Tidus (CPU-Lv105). Any constructive comment/suggestion will be welcome, as always.
Este es el video de combos de Sephiroth para el Combo Thread de Gamefaqs. Pido disculpas si jugué mal, pero este video fué hecho con el único propósito de enseñar los combos, nada más. Really happy that Sakurai referenced his Dissida moves!
(Though, did he really nerf Seph compared to how he played in Dissida lol, feels like Sephiroth is holding back in Smash)

@@grimgreycastle5141 He missed so that doesn't count. Also Galeem is a villian so that doesn't really count.
Even when he holds back, he's still a threat. Believe me, I have scars to remember from Kingdom Hearts.
So i thought i was good at this game, but now after seeing all these unofficial combos i see i need to get better. You sir are a beast. Nice job.

Great Vid! I've been using Sephy since the game came out, and these combos are Sephiroth's bread and butter.
My personal fav. is Sudden Cruelty > DC > Oblivion > RDC(I think?) > Octaslash. Especially with an Iai strike build.
Cannot wait for Dissidia 2! (Since I can't spell the true title lol)

Just a question that doesnt connect to the combos (i dont think you play like a noob, its way better than me) how did you lvl up sephiroth? (also all the other bad guys)
That last combo is nasty. I am so glad Sephiroth got buffed in the NA version, so much more fun to play as.

Amazing vid man, really useful for me. I do have a combo you might want to try though.
Godspeed (DC), Sudden Cruelty (DC), Oblivion.
I've found it pretty useful not only for damage but also amazing mind games, forces them away then just fake them out with Black Materia lvl.1 and screw them over again.
Technically you can combo Oblivion->Return DC-> Godspeed-> Octoslash. If you have midair evasion boost on, seph's dodge can be redirected to a second direction based on how you're flicking your analog stick so you dodge left, for example, and push your stick right to make him move back to more or less the same place. Then Godspeed. Tricky, but rewarding.

I can't really tell with some of these, but are these legit combos? Like can you not recover while sephiroth does his thing?

i still have problem with the correct DC timing...
I'm having a very hard time connecting Oblivion into Octaslash. I'm fighting Lunar Whale CPUs, and they're still having enough recovery time to escape my Octaslash immediately after Oblivion. As well, since I have horrible timing, I start mashing the Square button immediately after FDCancelling...

I want sephiroth playable in multiple fighting games so bad. His speed , range of attacks and moveset he got are so badass. I hope you can play as him in ff7 remaster in part 2 or something, wauw 🤩😐
@thenumberonejason Nope, I believe Square doesn't want Evil/Darkness to Triumph. They're just too Light, Bright, Holy, Good or Anti-Darkness to do so.
Sephiroth's (nearly infinite) combo is irritating if you're not using him.

in order to do the DC in the right time, is there anything that i should do? i mean, some skill that you should or shouldnt equip ect...
It's not noobish, don't worry.
Anyway, DC is a neutral Dodge, and TDC you have to do it with a direction. Just dodge towards your opponent, that's all...
I'd really like to, but it has been 4 months since my PSP got stolen. I hope to get a new one this Xmas.

@kriegervonsasuke I know, but SE has made some adjust to UT. I guess that's why they added the Assist System in Duodecim, to make even more cooler combos, like the one's we were able to see in TGS Trailer. ;D

yo hago algo parecido pero utilizo los combos ligeros completos para dar un golpe muy grande,no utilizo trucos pero soy muy dificil de matar,pero soy imparable (y casi imbencible) con gabranth
