Yeah, it's in the main menu (first pop up menu where you select season) under one of the things, maybe more settings if that's one. Should be something like you are looking for. Then you type in year you wanna copy from.

Does this work on WIndows 11? I can't get the password installer to work. It says "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application"
Hello, i have a problem everytime i put the password intaller it puts a error and it goes like this: Unhandled exception in the application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error and try to continue. If you click Exit, the application will close immediately.
Cannot find a part of the path "\ Formula1 \ F1VBPSWD.txt".
Please help i don't know what to do.
Umm... I would post in the Facebook group. I probably don't have a great answer, sorry. I haven't ran into that or heard of that before.
I'm assuming you are putting the password installer in the main game folder before clicking it right?

It is all together, it's more of an entire new game then just a mod. You don't need to install anything else.

hello! i have a technical question about the game... how does the patching works? do i need to download and install all the patches? or just the latest one?
followed this video multiple times, copied every single step of this process and more than double checked each step, get to extracting with 7zip it says "there are some data after the end of the payload data" ive selected all files multiple times for extraction and i keep getting the same message, what will i do next, also my file logo looks different but ive followed every step on this video

I'm a bit confused...I extracted the files all at once but they appeared in a folder called "Formula 1.part01". Do I have to extract them individually or all at once? Or did I accidentaly only extract one folder?
When I downloaded the game I was limited to like 5 at a time. Plus the overall download will take many hours. So if it was rather quick then you just downloaded one folder.
The other thing is maybe you extracted everything into Formula 1.part 01, so I'd check inside to see if part 02, part 03, etc. are inside. If not, then you definitely just downloaded part 0.1

I downloaded all 30 files from the official website and extracted them only to find 42 malware files in the game's directory folder. Not sure whether to continue with the instillation
Welp considering thousands of people use those files to play the game I wouldn't be worried about it. I am curious though, what anti-virus program flagged them?
@@ACasualRacer Malwarebytes, I have since quarantined and deleted those files out of fear that they'd damage my PC. I will be questioning the mod creator about these files

Are you configuring the graphics in the pop-up menu before launching a specific year?

you have to choose 32 bit resolution not 16 bit, then the game will start

Is there anything particular you have to do in order to play it on Windows 10 ? My game launches, and I can do everything I want in the main menu, but whenever I try to launch a session the game crashes to desktop as soon as it was supposed to start loading the circuit, and this problem occours even in the seasons included in the original game (1999-2002)

Same things happening to me
Whenever I put the game in 1080p it crashed, but lowering the resolution helped for me.
Try running it on windows 95/98 compatibility and as administrator.
Game won't save controller configuration, or any other settings that i make. I adjust it, but it disappears. How to fix that and have same control and other setups for all years? Tnx.
Hmm... I don't know about the save issue. But on the screen in which you choose the year there are some advanced setting options. One of those will allow you to copy some of the settings, but it doesn't copy everything so you'll still be setting up some of the settings under each year still.
i havn't the password application in the F1challengeVB 2022, i try to open the game but it say "program uninstall" 😢
F1 Challenge VB season error 1998/2022
So when i lunch the F1 1998/ 2022 season it gives me an error that he can't find the filses of f1 1998/ 2022 season, but i installed all correctly in driver D and everything else runs perfectly. I don't know if is because i need to do the final update of the game, but is strange it doesn't work.

Does this not just extract File 001? That is what I am noticing.
You need to select all files at once, and then extract together with 7zip.
@@ACasualRacer I did select all the files at once, but 7z seems to be different now and I think it only extracted the first one. I have tried it again just now and I will let you know.
Will the extract process take 6 hours. It took me 9 hours for 17 file downloads

Dude, I select the 30 files in 7-Zip and it appears that is downloading the first part only. It should be like that right? I mean Part 1 when it's finished automatically goes the Part 2. Greetings from Spain!

How do i syncronize my steering wheel with the game?
It's very fiddly with sliders in the controls in each year. Easier to adjust in wheel's setting software.

You have to extract all of the parts together, otherwise it won't work and thats why you got that message.

It says on the installer uncompressed the files are 83gb but as I extract the files each folder is around 50gb each. Am I doing something wrong?
You should extract the files together (all at once) to the same folder.

So the VB is a different download than the game? So the VB is not the actual game?
No, F1C-VB is everything you need. Just follow the tutorial. No need to install anything else.

Mine was about 12 hours? If you aren't getting a response after 48 hours I'd ask again.
I Get a pop up when i paste it in to google saying " The file you are trying to access is no longer available publicly" any help?
Have you tried both types of download links. If it's down on both then I expect it'll be back up in a day or two. You could go on the Facebook page and let them know the downloads are down.

No, you do not need to have the original disc or have to do anything to F1C before you install. They are completely separate games.

There is no way. You have to manually download each one, so yeah you can't do it overnight.

How many hourse you wait to unzip all files?
Depends on computer's power.
For both download and unzipping it took me roughly 48 hours with slow internet and an above average computer.

No, it's a complete package and you have to download everything.

I recommend 250GB of free space on your hard drive. You will have to download the files which is around 50GB I believe and then extract them which then they grow to around 200GBs once installed. Then you can delete the download files and free up 50GB
I know a lot of people who buy an additional hard drive for their PC just for this game.

How old? And what OS? You will need a large Hard Drive, but you do not need a fancy graphics card.

It requires a Windows OS. And that old of a computer will probably will run it, at least on low video settings. Remember, the game is massive and will take up more than 60GBs once installed.

It is a complete package, so you must download all.

I had two files appear a Formula 1.part01 and a Formula 1.part02 how do I combine these two folders as both folders contained different information
Using your zip extractor select all files AT ONCE and extract to same location.

@@MaxBarwell-sx6ir it's essentially 71 games in one. Each season with championship and all game modes is like an entire game. Plus the facts there are literally 100s of real and fictional circuits, they take up space.

How do you know when the password is sent to you. Will it like pop up in your mail? It's just that I've never used Mail before.
Valerio typically sends it to you through facebook messenger.

I tried creating one and for some reason it insta-banned me (like, I did nothing, all I wanted to do was download some RBR skins and stuff but it banned me before I even got on the website). Potentially, though Winrar does use older base code so I can't guarantee anything.
Hey, i have one problem, when i run password installer, it says that path to F1VBPSWRD could not been found,
i had the same problem then i went to see the giude and i found out that you have to put the formula1 folder direct in your hard disk or in an external disk. without SUBFOLDER. for me this work hope that help (sorry for bad english)

Hello can you help me? I try to load for example 2007 season I setup everything. Then windows ask administration access for f1.exe. I press ok and then nothing happens. few seconds later the game drop back to f1 challenge VB. Please help what to do?
Are you following all the setup steps in the main menu before launching game. Configuring the graphics card, etc?

@@blaskotamas570 at this point I recommend posting in the Facebook group about be your problem. I am not an expert in throubleshooting the game, but there are many helpful people on the Facebook page who help create the mod.
