How can the senate be the last bastion of democracy when you are dictated by outside forces as you say. if what your saying is true, then as a senator you did not practice your free democratic right of choice, instead some of your co senators followed an authoritarian force that made you vote to oust the SP, i don't understand the premise that the house of Congress are bullying the Senate, again as you say congress are parochial which only concern their district or constituents, while you hold the state or national power.

Zubiri did not fight for his position . It appears to me that zubiri easily resigns when he sees it coming. I think zubiri does not want his dealings in politics exposed. I think his dealings as an elected official cannot stand SCRUTINITY.

JV Ejercito should know that there was NO POWERS THAT BE that forced Zubiri out --- he was forced out by forces NOT associated with Malacanang. If he will check the line of Senators that voted to oust Zubiri - Sen. Bato, Sen. Robin, Sen.Bong Go, Sen.Tulfo, the Cayetanos - it was from the Duterte group. Zubiri's insinuation that he failed to obey the rules set out by the POWERS THAT BE can only be taken with a grain of salt, and he has no proof of this.
