With no tackle sponsor, Kristian Jones can pick any seat box he likes! After his Rive box reached the end of its life, Kristian chose to swap to the Preston Innovations Absolute Station. Here he reveals his initial thoughts after some time on the bank using the box.

I've got an Absolute, brilliant box. But the best decision I probably made was fitting an Inception 360 seat unit. Transformed my fishing from a comfort point of view; all day pleasure angling.

As a fellow left hander. I feel your pain. I have the inception 150. Whilst it’s generally a great box, the side drawer is on the wrong side and can’t be altered!

it could of been cleaned up before you filmed it lol, i don't no how some one could keep it that dirty ,

The Matrix Pro360 has fully reversible Draws so no issue. Preston a good box though.

Was and is a great box. My only issue, was in time, the fading of the magnetic stay shut on the drawers. It resulted in me depositing an entire content of a magnetic drawer into a coloured river Don!. Not good. Apart from that, it had been as good as gold up to then. Maybe have to put new drawers in after a while, with fresh magnets?

only heard good things about preston boxes i went with the matrix 36 limited edition love it no probs with iy maybe a little heavy but love it

Can you not remove the seat and turn thd draw round as you can with the Rive

You can remove the seat and reattach the other way round

Why are these called boxes nowadays? They are a frame with a few drawes . Could uld have easily had the old seat recovered.
