You always do so well with these build challenges! This one would have had me in tears😅 And the exterior looks SO good! It doesn't even look like a budget build, much less an EXTREME budget build. The interior looks great to, and dorms are usually pretty bare minimum on the decoration front so I feel like it's pretty realistic as well😂 Amazing job!

Lockers work as dressers. And when trying to save money... bump outs or bump ins only cost you more. Square/rectangular is you best bet. Technically closest to circle saves more (as in using angled walls (not curved, because that wastes space). The walls on either side of the stairs is also a waste.
Do you not have Werewolves? Because it has cheap single beds (not as cheap as Eco Lifestyle though)
Those are really interesting tips Andrew! I do not have Werewolves, but yes I agree that Eco Lifestyle's beds are tough to beat for tight budget builds.
@@TownieSimBuilds other cheap ways to add details: using the free cement, but in a checkerboard pattern, then it doesn't look so bad (unless your graphics are good. On my old laptop, I had no idea that the free cement had such a bad pattern to it).
It has always annoyed me that certain items are inexplicably high. Such as the hanging light bulb from Laundry Day. Why is that 150? It should be just about the cheapest light.
Bonfires from Get Together can be used to burn trash, and they are cheaper than regular trash bins... although I don't know if burning trash was a feature that came from Werewolves? Because I don't remember if you could throw trash into a burn pile before then.
