Much appreciation for your willingness to share so much valuable information. Such a great value to all of us as musicians and aspiring musicians. Hats off to my friend....!!
Check out Stanley Clarke’s “A Quiet Afternoon.” Not sure what it’s called when the scale switches back and forth between major and minor. But learning how to play in this song has helped me understand how to use both scales within the same song. I’m tempted to put up a backing track that I’ve created. In fact, I Will. I’ll let you know.
Marc, check out Stanley Clarke's "Quiet Afternoon" backing track I just uploaded. I am sorry but I didn't have time to map out the arrangement but its an easy one. It toggles back and forth between Major and minor scales for soloing. ruclips.net/video/S4oLM_LKHc8/видео.html
I like a lot this video, but I would like you repeat the funky phrase's slower, like you did in other works!! Thank you very much, I learn a lot with you!!

Just found your channel. Fantastic! Your soprano sound is great, but the jazz theory stuff is SUPER useful!

neat video/instruction. Other improvisors call it outlining chords on your monophonic instrument :)

So wish I had the patience to learn keyboard that I had with guitar....I'll keep trying
👍
Beaut 😢
If you do that "free" improvisation, people will just come and take it.
