Personally, I think it would be cool to see large gold veins generate inside badlands biomes. Gold already generates in abundance in badlands so maybe have large gold veins generate inside andesite or diorite? I think it would truly cement the badlands as the biome to find gold, just like the mountains are the biome to find iron, and dripstone caves to find copper.
or have gold veins exist in the nether,
but the ore vein i want is coal veins found in mountains

@@gibbous_silver try @ stony peaks. you can have tons of coal there. you can also use fortune 3 pickaxe to mine coal there.

Hey, so I’ve played Minecraft with my gf for almost 4 years since I’ve been with her, we made a world and played like twice a week since we stared we build our dream house and a farm and so many things we wish we had irl. we have watched you for a while and the old worlds you used to play on. We recently broke up. But I want to thank you for getting her into the game and helping me created some of the best memories I’ve ever had. Going into our world will make me sad so I don’t touch the game anymore but I am great full it happened in the first place. Just wanna say thank you.
At the stony peaks biome you'll also encounter emeralds, and a whole lot of coal and iron. I just went to mine calcite blocks (For a build) and got way more iron and coal I could ever hold on to. It took me 2 chest boats to transport everything I got (no, I don't have any ender chests yet).

The iron farm is also an emerald farm from villagers like toolsmith , blacksmith , weaponsmith. Trading with these villagers can also provide diamond tools and armour.
Combine it with some type of spawner(Spiders ,Cave Spider ,Zombie or Skeleton) then you can have 3 farms in one
@@johnkenrickchua1811 not just that. put villagers to work raising crops. then trade those crops for more emeralds.
Remember back when you didn’t have to *build* an iron farm, because there was plenty of iron ore in the game world?
I do. Now the stuff is rarer than emerald and netherite ore. Sad 😔

I have an idea for a large gold vein.
The large gold vein can ONLY generate in all of the Badlands biomes and even until then they have a very rare chance to replace large iron vein
They look exactly like iron veins but its gold instead
So it's made of tuff, deepslate gold, and raw gold blocks
Yess! This could be an amazing feature they could add to a badlands update.
@@GalaxyBoi41 I hope that they can place all the biomes that need an update into one giant update(1.20) so they can add a new dimension soon enough I haven't even killed the Dragon because I want to wait for the End Update to happen lol
I recently started a hardcore game, went to armor up right away, decided to keep going down into deepslate when I found a couple of diamonds when I accidentally ht a vein. I ended up grabbing a quick 100 ore plus two blocks of raw iron. I guess I can go back for more if this video is correct. Didn't know about the "tuff" qualifier, I will watch out for that from now on.
I think the watery caves are the best source of Iron and by far the most fun. Just need an efficiency 4 or 5 pick axe, respiration 2 or 3 helmet, and water-breathing pots help a lot. If you don't have pots, then dig holes in the cave's roof or sides to breathe and move along to dig another hole. As long as you have respiration it's easy, but also easy to get lost.

I prefer to use fences instead of the walls on the Iron Farm cuz the Golems sometimes get stuck on the Wall Ledges. But yeah, it's a great farm that's easy to build.

I never use silk touch when mining iron ore. Instead I use fortune iii and convert the raw iron to raw iron blocks. Instead of stacks if 64 iron you carry a stack of 64 raw iron blocks. IIRC fortune iii only gives max 4 rae iron per ore block, so it gives space for twice as much iron to do it that way.

i have found an iron vein in almost every world made since its release and all i do is cave or strip mine i barely explore outside of finding a nice spot to set up base and boom iron vein nearby in a cave or i dig into it through a resource strip mine
like my current world and even discovered it stretches pretty deep and very far through the caves nearby as well which is how i found it during a strip mine actually on my dig down making the ladder way up and down dropped into a cave shaft and boom iron vein and right at base even lmao

i made a working golem farm on hardcore with the first village i found in less then 100 game days. it actually took longer because i wanted to move them to a water location because it was hardcore and i wanted the added security. a 20 villager golem farm will fill a shulk every 2 or 3 hours if not faster

I did my best to avoid an iron farm in my most recent build, but after a while I didn't have much of a choice. It was either trading dozens of hours mining out all the iron, or getting an insane amount of blocks by going AFK for a night. That said, I try my best to just use the iron farm for building blocks.

Rocky Peak biomes are absolutely insane for Iron and Coal veins. I loaded a random seed and got one where you spawned a few chunks west of a RPB. There's also a Nether Portal ruin further up on the mountain (like. Less than 200 blocks East of spawn).
If that couldn't get any better, there's TWO ancient cities below the mountain.
Seed: -6937162303856882453
Spawn: -11, 95, 22 (rough estimate)
Nether Portal Ruin: 212, 208, 36
Mega Ancient City: 173, -21, 111
Note: I play on Bedrock so I apologize to every Java player who reads this. This seed won't work for you :(

Iron farms are a bit more of a pain on Bedrock since you need more villagers, but since they are a side effect of any decent sized trading hall it works out - as all the time you spend in the hall is time it is putting iron into the hall for trading with.
Completely agree- trading halls have 2 benefits now. Cool trades and free iron(you do have to kill the golems tho)
@@aoarashi3025 combine it with a Zombie Spawner then you can get Discounts .I don't know much about the mechanics but go check Prowl8413's and Silentwisperer's Channels if you need farms for Bedrock
@@johnkenrickchua1811 not only that, but you also get tons of experience by killing Zombies, than trading the items you get with villagers. A cleric (or two) takes care of all the rotten flesh and could give you mending books in return.

I do love this iron farm, unfortunately on the server I'm on won't let you stack signs, so it is a little difficult to get it to work right, I use a different design on that server.
High mountain mining is simply the best. And the views are very nice.
ngl the Iron Farm method is my favorite too. It's just so easy once you get past setting it up.

Also a tip to get more iron: if you find some iron make sure you mine around the iron even if you don't see any oder bc you never know you could get lucky. I was lucky to find so much iron just by using this method
Not mentioned, but an early game method, strip mining @Y15. But exploring and Stony Peaks are much more fun.

An iron farm is like the first real farm I build in the game. Before food before villagers. Iron farms are so overpowered and so easy. Just take off any direction you're gonna find a village.

Mine it until you can get a good villager breeder going, then build a farm. It's not cheating, it's using a game mechanic.

I die every time I go exploring. It doesn't matter if I sleep, because I will invariably sleep in the middle of a forest at some point, have no armor or shield, hardly any food, and die to a skeleton. Multiple times. And I'll eventually lose my map, get lost, frustrated, and delete my save

I just ended up clearing out a massive iron ore vein in my recent world, got enough raw iron ore to fill a double chest completely full of ingots...
If I was using easy villager mods I would just use those but villager transport is very painful so until I have sufficient armour and mine cart equipment. Then I’ll mark a farm.
If you keep your seed 297(maybe bedrock only),you are literally set for the whole game.I got so much iron and coal that in the end I stopped at 2 stacks of coal,a full set of iron Armor with spares and full iron tools.
Go caving while having an iron farm running in spawn chunks. Find an iron ore vein... or three... to get the raw iron ore blocks. All the iron you will ever need

I built the iron farm to showcased a while ago and now I'm considering using Iron Blocks as building blocks for other farms because I have no idea how to use this much other than hoppers, pistons, and anvils. Thank you incredibly much!

3:00 if you have a limited amount of night vision potions, you could place torches/other visible items in spots where the ores are first so you can find them again even after the potion's worn off

As a bedrock player i could say that farming, is not as easy. Using the number of villagers and also including the bugs that pop up which constantly crashes the farm, its no longer worth it. Digging around tall stony peaks biome is the best with fortune 3. I got 7 stacks of iron ores in like an hour. Along with 3 stacks of block of coal and 32 emerald.

I have yet to explore deep enough to find an iron vein. I have found a massive copper ore vein though.
Once I found a giant iron ore vein and end with 9 stacks of iron. I was sooo cunfused what is with iron in my world.
