Shinji's words were reversed in the Manga. Aizen couldn't understand him and figured everything out just by fighting him. Also most people forget that Shinji was already under Kyoka Suigetsu's hypnosis when he used Sakanade.
Bleach's battle philosophy changes from time to time but one thing Kubo established that never changed: No matter what your ability is, if the difference in battle capability (this include strenght, speed, skills, reaction time etc...) is too great, it doesn't matter (Kinda the same as One Punch Man with Saitama) That is why Yhwach has to send Lloyd against Yamamoto even if he can steal his bankai That is how even the greatest mind of Urahara Kisuke can't seal Aizen without Ichigo Dangai Form And that is what Aizen intended to do after "Evolving": He knew that he can only overcome the Royal Squad with absolute power and not just wits and plans
I mean, kind of but at the same time shinji's ability isn't actually that powerful, being that it functionally only reverses your visual and auditory senses, and then you have to work with your own strength. Aizen has complete hypnosis which can functionally create entire scenarios which aren't real at all. For all we know, he could have hypnotized shinji to think that he showed aizen his shikai, or that he was approaching from a certain direction. Shinji is just a bad match for Aizen. Because Shinji's abilities make it pretty much impossible for his opponent to tell where the true attack will be coming from. Plus against Bambietta he was trying to induce her to call her "friends" to help her so he could use his bankai to finish them all off at once.

His bankai would make everyone there die theres no point in that and aizen would likely still survive cuz shinjicould of been in a illusuoj the whole time

What is the use of Shinji's Shikai if Shinigami is guided by Reiatsu? For example, Aizen's ability can only be deactivated when you touch his sword, which makes his hypnosis absolute. And what's here? Aizen just closed his eyes and began to sniff from which side he was being attacked
No. Aizen just worked out in his head where Shinji and him would be if Shinji reversed all the things Aizen guessed he would and then attacked at that spot. Shinji should have kept the Mask on and rushed him immediately after having that fat Vizard immobilize Aizen with Kido.
@@Yalovayahznepomnimena all senses of directions are reversed, it's quite implied that reiatsu perception comes from the 5 senses otherwise even Kyoka Suigetsu would be pointless. it's funny cause in the manga actually Shinji talked much less, he simply said his shikai invert directions after Aizen already figured out on his own in his mind. Plus Aizen counter him at the second attempt, not the third one, after the first strike Aizen already adjusted to him.
A captain fighting his lieutenant 🗿
I swear everytime someone fights in this show they just cant keep their mouth shut and bragging about how op is their abilities, saying it'll be an ez win. But ultimately ends with their asses beated. Every f***ing time. But i still love Bleach.
Somehow... I feel like Aizen still would've been able to figure this out like this.. maybe he might've taken a couple of additional swings, or perhaps he might even just use KS to kind of lead Shinji to attacking an illusion that Aizen could observe to entirely avoid getting hit... but the outcome being Aizen's win is very much still believable
funny how this video got over 1.5K likes and less than 10 dislikes because no one minds not hearing shinji's yapping
if shinji shut up and he wear a mask
Wouldn’t have mattered. Aizen learned everything about Shinji when he was his lieutenant…
The scene is so much better, but without context it becomes difficult to enjoy as such.
The context is that they are fighting. What do you mean context?
@@johnsmith-xw7hv the problem is without context the viewer wouldn't know how exactly Shinji's power works and how it affects his enemies. Technically all we're seeing is Aizen figuring something out about his power and just working with it.
@@thirst8015 I asked you what context are you talking about? The context is that they are fighting. We are watching the things happening in the fight. You keep using the word context. Yes this video we see the fight without Shinji telling Aizen what his powers are. Why is that needed to understand what's going on?
@@johnsmith-xw7hv it's needed because it would help the viewer understand what exactly is happening to Aizen and how he's getting through Shinji's Bankai.
@@thirst8015 Wow what a concept! To have characters explicitly explain to the audience what just happened to them otherwise they would never figure it out! You should be a writer. I don't know how literature ever managed without this groundbreaking technique of treating the audience like they have a 70IQ.
What's funny it's that it's not even too much of a "Shinji screwed himself by talking about his ability" its more so how if tou have higher spiritual pressure than the one inflicting the effect you can just dispel it
Also the whole "how long were you under the impression that you were not affected by kyoka Suigetsu?"
FYI Aizen SHOULD have known that Shikai since he was shinjis assistant captain
aizen could have died there if shinji didn't tell all of his technique's secrets
Maybe if Shinjis power constantly adapted to the opposite of whatever the person thinks it is
Shinji become the smartest man alive
Fair in this case. Later on with the Quincy however shutting up would have been gg.
actually there is a reason why Shinji talks, it was explained. His zanpakuto doesn't actually reverse every sense of direction automatically, Shinji chooses which ones, by telling this to the enemy if the enemy manages somehow to counter him he can reverse back one or two directions to make them miss anyway, confusing them because it's up to him which ones are affected. Plus against Bambietta he was trying to induce her to call her "friends" to help her so he could use his bankai to finish them all off at once.
Tbh aizen just makes an illusion and dips. It wouldn't convince Shinji cause Aizen wouldnt know how it works as to replicate it properly, but Aizen can just hide till he figures it out, his illusions are just better than Shinji's
Aizen : *Talks alone
Shinji : *:D
Not bad tbh, I like it
Shinji Bankai, even if he was alone, couldn't have done anything against Aizen: no Espada, nor Gin, nor Tousen could kill Aizen on a rampage. Gin only succeded because he was cold blooded and well prepared, but Shinji's bankai put enemies in a state of madness without any sense of strategy.
two best ilussionary zanpakutos to exist in bleach
If only he used bankai, from what I remember shinjis bankai is banned from use around allies cause it invited madness or something like that
His bankai would make everyone there die theres no point in that and aizen would likely still survive cuz shinjicould of been in a illusuoj the whole time
Shinjis one of my fav characters but bros too stupid he just needs to beat a person then tell them while they die instead 😂
Hate it when characters talk shit
He could have won if he gaslight Aizen by saying things about his shikai remotely near its actual function and adding extra notes to every new trick he shown
Well, apparently, it is better that Aizen doing the yapping, am I right ?
The problem with bleavh they keep talking in the middle of battle instead of thinking a strategy or explaining their abilities in the mind.
And took another L after using his bankai on one of the Quincy...
Shinji would be OP but he thinks he's in JJK.
If aizen can hypnotize people. Why is it that when fighting who they think is Aizen, they don't make it quick? It is almost as if the imposter is on par with aizen?
Both with kyokasugetsu
What is the use of Shinji's Shikai if Shinigami is guided by Reiatsu? For example, Aizen's ability can only be deactivated when you touch his sword, which makes his hypnosis absolute. And what's here? Aizen just closed his eyes and began to sniff from which side he was being attacked
No. Aizen just worked out in his head where Shinji and him would be if Shinji reversed all the things Aizen guessed he would and then attacked at that spot. Shinji should have kept the Mask on and rushed him immediately after having that fat Vizard immobilize Aizen with Kido.
@@johnsmith-xw7hv However, Shikai Shinji should reverse the 6 senses of a person, not 5, taking into account the reiatsu
@@Yalovayahznepomnimena all senses of directions are reversed, it's quite implied that reiatsu perception comes from the 5 senses otherwise even Kyoka Suigetsu would be pointless. What truly could counter Shinji's through reiatsu perception is an Arrancar since they uses Pesquisa to locate the enemy not through their eyes but by spreading their reiatsu in the atmosphere and making contact with the enemy, so they can know their positions without even seeing them.
Shinji is one of my favorite characters, but can't stop taking Ls. 😢
The way I was js rewatching this scene yesterday n complaint abt it 😭
Didnt feel like talking ngl
what if shinji went hollow immediately after using Sakanaede against bambieta and speed blitz her and deals a fatal blow? does she live and recover and kill him either way and win or shinji pulls it off?
fr. this man should theoretically be one of the stronger captains. Hypnotizes his oponents, goes hollow and fuckin onbliterates them. never once does he do that. hes a joke idk how ppl even like him.
Bambi > Shinji. That's it. Her ability is monstrous. Definitely one of the strongest non elite sternritters
@@kakashihatake1029 if Shinji wasn't soft, he could have killed pre-vollstandig bambi that time
@excalibruh7626 likewise all the quincies could have killed the shinigami in the 1st invasion If they actually.... acted like it was a war. E.g As Nodt just had to stab Byakuya again. Meninas just decided not to kill Rukia. Same with Mask and As Nodt leaving Renji. Etc etc.
Then there's the Shutzstaffel fights where plot armor just goes ridiculous. Not one shinigami gets killed by God like quincies
@@kakashihatake1029 ik bro, im just saying that shinji could've killed her the moment his shikai affected her
