i have this model and for the life of me I cant get it to work on my laptop... I have the usb plgged in and its charged but I cant find the setting page on windows 10 for it

Will this work on the Fire TV ? mine wont connect to my Fire TV and i placed the usb plug in and still nothing, went into my Fire TV settings told it to pair even Bluetooth device nothing . It works fine on my laptop but not on FIRE TV. am i missing something or what? Thanks for any help ANYONE.

Nice review, just got mine recently, but not seems to work because the blue lite never turns on, only the yellow lite keeps flashing on and on, and l noticed that leaving the remote unattended the blue lite turns on, but once l take the remote to use, the yellow lite keeps flashing. Do you have any idea how to solve this. Thanks

How do you power the tv box on and off with the i8. You will stil need your oem remote. Thats why I thinknit sux

these things are amazing. took mine out after over a year of buying it cos my mouse died on me and its 2 am where i live. getting to know it and really appreciating it. the buttons are sturdy feels premium. the keyboard is back-lit which is great for me. a lot of thought has gone into the buttons and the placing of it. i have now been using it for over 2 hours and i felt that i owe it a good review. ...... guys get the original and you will sure as hell not regret it. 15 bucks on amazon
the best part is that it still retains the charge from the first and last time i used it over a year ago.

yes, but you will need to install a new launcher if you want to have widgets on your home screen. Ive made a video on how to install a new launcher on most tv boxes. Check it out on my channel ...about a month and a half ago

Hey Alex does this product have background light on the keyboard. I bought exactly the same as this one and seller asurred me that it has 3 color lighting.

the wireless keyboard is not good for any games... you need a gaming controller...either a bluetooth one or one with a usb dongle. Thanks for watching

Does this keyboard have a power button?
Some of them do, but they only work on computers. It won't work on devices with an IR censor (the little sensor that's on your TV remote) so it won't turn your TV on and off.
You used three fingers to go back. What about the back button on the keyboard? Does it work the same way ?

That is a FAKE Rii i8. not a real riitek rii i8. The real one comes in a plain brown cardboard box with an anti chinese counterfieting sticker on it. I've tried the one your showing and had nothing but bad luck with them. % differnt ones. The remote would just start selecting things, cursor would show up at random times. And yes it was fully charged. Make sure you get a genuine riitek. $15 on ebay.

Yes, you can. Use either ' back' or 'escape' or 'right click' sometimes depending on your player, you need to STOP the movie first.
How to use dropdown menu? Right click ?

Says all the functions of the Amazon Stick but can’t find the function for the three line menu on the stick. Eg in Recent Apps, if you press the three line menu you get the option to remove it from Recent. Also in Your Aps the three line gives you several options including Unistall, Move. Can’t find this option on the keyboard, please help.The Ctr C does not work

The Mi Box recognized it and had it paired.
But, still no go.
did you turn it on and was it fully charged? do you get any activity of lights on the device? if you dont even get the power-on blue light, and its fully charged, its DOA, send it back for replacement. There seems to be three versions, AAA batteries, removable li-on battery, and non-removable battery. The li-on version isnt bluetooth so there is no pairing needed. In fact, I can even turn on my BT search in Win 7 and the device wont even show up on a list of pairable devices. But...there is a third version with a non-removable battery and I think thats the one that get paired. The orange activity light would be blinking while its trying to pair, then switch to the first blue light when its ready to go, as is the case with the other versions. Now....the dongle will install its driver on the PC (and I will suppose on the TV too) and then thats it. If you connect the dongle and get nothing happening, then what, bad dongle? Im trying to help you but im new to this too, just one hour ago. There are no usable instructions with the device so here I am on YT looking for how the hell to operate this contraption--but its working and lighting up, nothing is DOA. If you get no lights on a charged device, its dead. I guess its first fair to ask, what version do you have?

If its not pairable, does that mean it connects directly/automatically so I dont need to do anything? It will only connect to whatever device I insert the dongle into?

Purchased the Rii i8+ & the Element Ti4, all i can say is.. Absolute Garbage, don't waste your $
how come that you find it so bad? Ive had mine rii i8 for 6 months now and it works very good.
..then i suppose i got a defective device, or the bundling i chose was somehow inappropriate.. just one of the most glaring reasons, it Continues to Loose Connection, UNLESS i keep it pointed Directly at the Dongle and then its still a 50/50 pain in the ass, again that is only 1 reason, i've already spent more money and time on this then i should have.. (good-bye)
