Beautiful plants, beautiful home, beautiful man…this was a wonderful tour-thanks for showing us your space that is obviously very conducive to healthy plants.
happy youtube directed me to this vid on a boring work day--listening to you talk about your plants is so calming! thanks for sharing them with us! i laughed when you talked about the hoya that has done nothing in a year but also isn't dying, cause i can relate. i rescued this sad fiddle leaf fig stick with 2 leaves back in october and it did nothing until last month. it's been putting 2-3 leaves out at a time now! that lil hoya is just taking a comfort nap (for 8 months) LOL
Love all your plants but most of all, your positive vibe! It hit me the most when you introduced your monstera deliciosa. Wish you and all your plant babies the best! ❤️
Hello from Oregon! I randomly found your videos and subscribed because I really like your vibe! The polyneura is likely still filling out the pot with roots. Once it does that you should see new growth. They really like to dry out in between watering. Spray her leaves with orchid fertilizer (miracle grow pink bottle you can get in big box stores.) This should help! Ps where did you get the pot she is in? I need one! 😊
Hi and greetings from Melbourne Australia, loved seeing your diverse, beautiful collection. Just something to bear in mind is that your tree fern will get huge! Apart from growing taller, the fronds will shoot out approximately 1 metre in ALL directions so they are a great plant if you have lots of spare space. I also love the drosera Carpensis, a cool thing with these is that you can water prop them very easily. Grab a stem, snip it into inch long sections and leave them in a a small lidded plastic clear tub and they turn into cute baby plants.
Thanks for the lovely tips! We have a few larger species in at my work and you’re 100% right they take up so much space! 😂 I have a perfect spot for it, just need to get a grow light set up going for it 😁. I didn’t know about propagating the drosera! Definitely plan on trying that out soon since it’s growing like crazy!
Lovely plants, your doing good as a plant parent.I think after you put the painted lady on a pole it's leaves will go temp smaller then get bigger so give it some time before you repot it. Wonderfully tour and thank you for sharing.I look forward to your next video.
I see some easy plants and some not so easy. I like to grow some varieties of Kalanchoe and euphorbias. Very easy and attractive plants. I don't grow the kalanchoe that you find in every grocery store because they don't like full sun and are kinda boring but there is few others that I grow that can live in about every condition except freeze. Really fun to grow. Very inexpensive. Easy maintenance. Easy propagation. Highly recommend 🙂
We have a bunch of interesting Kalanchoes my work! I haven’t really though about owning one myself but maybe I’ll give something like that a shot 😄 appreciate you’re recommendation!
@Jhetty They are cheap and easy and grow fast provided good drainage and a lot of light. I chop mine and propagate them for full lush pots. Very rewarding and attractive for very low cost. If one cost $5 to $7 by the end of summer by chopping and propagating you can get full pot of them. I avoid the panda and the one the most common ones because they didn't handle full sun but the rest of the ones I have handle full sun very well. I don't even water them in the winter more than one or two times as long as they are more than four inches long. Ones they are more than four inches long they can survive half an year virtually on nothing. They just sleep.
Hey - new subscriber here from Massachusetts! You have a wonderful collection. Love your living wall area; that rattan lamp shade is SO cute! Your air plants are awesome. Congrats on keeping a calathea and ferns in Arizona. 😉 Really enjoyed watching - great vibe to start my snowy day...thanks for sharing! 💚👏🏽🪴🪴🪴👏🏽💚
Hi! The only other thing that I can think could be going on with the polyneura is possibly flat mites?? Can you tell if it's TRIED to put out new growth that maybe dried up? If so, there's a good video from Knot Dude on how to deal with those on hoyas👍
I just got some Hoya Polyneura cuttings from a friends mum and they rooted within a week in water, I potted them up after about 3 weeks and most have shot out new growth. I wonder if it helps doing multiple together, maybe cut off the top node and try rooting that one too
Hello from Puerto Rico!!! First timer on your channel and just subscribed!!! My channel is in spanish but can be captioned!!! Love your plants!!! 💚🙋🏼♀️🪴
Just so you're aware, the Plumosa Asparagus is NOT a fern! I know, it's often called a Plumosa Fern, but it's not even related to ferns. It has nothing to do with ferns. It IS, however, related to the Asparagus family (like the vegetable). You need to water this more if you want it to thrive. Also, just because you mentioned getting into ferns, when you do start to grow those, they actually need to dry out WAAAAAAY more than people seem to think they do. You want to pot them in a really airy mix, give them a LOT of light, and let them get about 80% dry. But the Plumosa Asparagus? It doesn't want to get super dry, so consider keeping it kind of damp-ish and give it really, really good light (and an airy/gritty potting mix).
IT'S 12PM ON A SUNDAY AND I'M ABOUT TO DO SOME REPOTTING SO I OBVIOUSLY HAD TO FIND A PLANT VID FOR BACKGROUND NOISE🤷🏽♀🥰 SO I SEE YOUR THUMBNAIL, CLICK ON YOUR VID AND IMMEDIATELY HIT THE LIKE BUTTON. THOSE CURLS SOLD ME BEFORE EVEN STARTING THE VID🥵🥵🤤😂 IMA GAY WOMAN BUT THAT HAIR HAS ME FALLING 😂😂😫

After the second repot and a week or so later it’s slowly starting to look more happy thankfully 😅
