I was hoping if you could share your expert advise. What could have possibly gone wrong? What can I check to get it to start?

Spark plugs might be cause here, when was it changed last ?

@@ridero5 I think easily over 3 years. I am planning to get it to a specialist mechanic and get everything checked. I am told after 25k km it needs a major maintenance routine.

Sure the issue with spake plug.
I believe bike is only cranking but not starting!!
What’s the ODO on the motorcycle? When was the last service done ?

Did you have to empty the tank first? And if so how did you do it

No, I did not empty the tank. its not mandatory to empty

my baby was idle for over 5 months. covered. And now when I tried to start it just cranks.. does not start.
I thoughjt the battery was the issue. I got it off the bike, charged it to 100% and then tried again. Still cranks and does not start. The battery obviously drained after multiple attempts.
I again thought it maybe the old weak battery and went and bought a brand new bosch battery. Unfortunately the problem still has not been solved. 😞
