Hannah: * breathes *
Zeke: meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow
As someone who loves tattoos and is also prone to fainting, a hearty meal beforehand is SOOOOO important! She probably wouldn't have "needed" candy, if that's against her "diet," if she had just eaten a substantial meal beforehand to begin with - but we know that she probably didn't.
What do mean? Two spoonfuls of mashed potatos is a hearty meal! /s
Yup. Good sleep, and a nice big meal is the way to have a more comfortable sitting. Your body goes through so much when you get a tattoo so we should do the best we can to make it easy as possible.
@@debymello4756 you're forgetting that it has protein powder and a bunch of added vitamins and minerals 🤣 /s
Imsmith, you may have something called POTS, postural orthotic tachycardia syndrome. I've had various types of falls and stumbled almost all my life. But they're different types. The pots one is completely blacking out out falling face down like a plank of wood, I don't get any warning, I've broken bones and badly injured myself.
The other is my hypermobile body, feet, knees and ankles mainly being just too bendy and I can't compensate for small height differences in a path of a pebble. Then the other is back to my bendy body, my feet are like an eighteen month old toddler's feet, I lose balance as they do, I fall with my bottom in the air and hands flat on the floor, I'm in my 49s and can still easily bend like that.
I'd been telling me doctors about them for years and telling them about pots to no avail. Until I badly smashed my face and wrists, the doctor in the A & E department was shocked I hadn't broken my wrists, facial bones and that I just out my dislocated thumb back myself. It's common in EDS.
Please have a look at the difference between faints and blackouts
I got my biggest tattoo during a very stressful week and didn’t sleep and eat properly and 4.5 hours into the tattoo session, the absolutely amazing tattoo artist gave me some candy to get me through the last hour. I'm a very picky eater when it comes to candy, but I would have eaten anything at that point 😂 got through it and still love my tattoo
Never apologize for putting your health and wellbeing first! BTW my cat Cookie perked her head up when Zeke was meowing, and I had to assure her that there was no other kitty in the house.
A cat named COOKIE! That is too precious! A cat named Cookie must be a great kitty indeed! 💚
A chiropractor was peddling scammy supplements? Color me shocked! 🙄
Yeah. 😂 I cringed each time, they said "doctor".
Omg me too @@JuMiKu
@@JuMiKu I wish more people knew not only of the absurd history of chiropractic, but also the ABSOLUTELY scammy and pseudo-sciency nature of it in its current form. There is no "doctor" of chiropractic; that's a title they've bestowed upon themselves without having any sort of actual medical experience nor knowledge.
Being a chronic pain patient, I've been recommended many, many things, chiropractic being one of them (my mother is incredibly adamant that I find one). I refuse to entertain the idea of going to a chiropractor whose practice is more or less unregulated and can easily mess your entire body up. They are NOT doctors of medicine. Just literal pseudoscience, bunk, and snake oil.
I have a special hatred for them.
@@olgs37 Yeah. It's not that I think people shouldn't be allowed to choose to visit one, but they should have to be told the truth. It's bullshit based on bullshit.
So many go to chiros thinking it's basically a physical therapist. Or they take homeopathy thinking it's just natural medicine. No. You are trying magic.
@olgs37 me too, they sent my mother who had a hernia to a chiropractor 🤦🏻♀️which only made it worse
Dear Hana, you are not in an MLM and don't have to work in sickness. We will be right here waiting for you. Feel better soon❤
Hahaha! Well said!
Last night I watched a documentary about how chiropractors begun and oh, my!. Chiropractors and snake oil selling go hand in hand.
Came here to say this. Any medical practice that starts with "a ghost told me" should probably be viewed with skepticism!
Yeah chiropractors are the biggest quacks ever, them being called doctors makes me laugh
I've known this for years. It's good to see more people are realizing chiropractors are fake doctors.
Oooh, what documentary was this?
I have TMJ. My PCP, dentist or PT could not help me. My chiropractor is who helped me. 🤣
I used to call my littles “plague babies!” Whenever they got sick, I did too. My plague babies are now 19 and 17 and don’t get sick so much anymore - but when they do, they still need their Mom. Enjoy the snuggles even when they are germy! I hope both you and baby girl feel better fast! ❤
I teach riding lessons the children are currently called plague rats or plague-a-corns both were decided by the kids
I'm 32 yrs old with 4 babies of my own and I still need my Mommas when I'm sick
I always enjoy hearing Zeke offering his opinion, too.😺🐈
I LOVE Zeke! 😁
Me too! 😻
Just a fun fact. Chiropractors aren't doctors. They have the title "Dr.", but they don't attend medical schools and are not medical doctors. (They dont have an M.D.) They have a chiropractic degree. This is possibly why that so called "Dr." had no qualms about promoting and selling items that have no proven health effects and are part of an MLM.
Woof. I just got a big calf piece done in October and I can’t imagine getting it done on a starvation diet. It was a rough enough 5 hours even with visiting the bakery nextdoor for sweets 😳 Glad she was able to get it done eventually!
Just so you know when you don’t feel your best, it’s OK to rest, we will understand. If the difference is between keeping yourself healthy, and letting somebody down, always let somebody down.
I don't know why but sometimes when Zeke does his little meow...it almost sounds like he is saying "mom". He is adorable.
Snickers is so perfect too, because it has that little bit of protein and fat to help not only just raise your BS, but help keep it stable for longer which for a big tattoo, would be so key.
The thought that good tattoo artists put into their work/the experience is so deep sometimes. 💜
I had a co-worker that was drinking Shakeology. She started having kidney stone attacks. Stopped the shakes and the attacks stopped, started the shakes again and .....yes....you guessed it, the kidney stone attacks came back!😬😬😬
That's not surprising. I just quick-googled the shakeology ingredients, and it's full of oxalate rich ingredients, which can cause kidney stones in some people. Oxalates are natural and found in many vegetables, but consuming it in concentrated form is something else entirely
$17 a day for supplements is insane🤯 Kroger regularly has supplements bogo, so I always buy my multi vitamins when the sale is going on. I can get a bottle of 90 for $35 plus another 90 count for free! So my supplements cost 19 cents a day, 1/89th of the cost of Arbonne😅
I had your video playing as I was walking through the house doing chores and as soon as Zeke made his appearance, my cat was glued to my side, perking up and looking concerned with every meow haha
Arbonne is such a predatory company. $17 a day per person is more than I spend on food in a month! That’s insane!
Figured out that is $510 a month. The height of absurdity.
I do find it a bit funny that "Hungry? Grab a Snickers" has some truth to it
You should do an anti MLM summary video that people can show to others who have no idea what an MLM is. I’m bad at retelling information I learn so it would be great to have like a 5-10 minute video that summarizes what they are and why they are bad. Call it Anti MLM for beginners or something 😂
"Anti MLM for Dummies"😅
Its not, 5-10 minutes its multiple hours, but the first season of the podcast "The Dream" is the best anti-MLM intro ive found! That or Knowing Better's MLM video. ruclips.net/video/LhHhZ3b9akU/видео.html
when im introducing someone to anti-mlm those are the two i direct them to. Cant recommend the first season of 'the dream' enough :)
I have quite a few health issues, so I've been approached many times by Plexus reps. I did my research on the supplements and the chromium concerned me. It's a TRACE element, meaning your body only needs a little. But trying to explain that to a rep didn't go well. She started grilling me and I just stopped responding because it's none of her business what I choose to do for my health. After I started watching anti MLM content I went back to see that conversation and she'd deleted it before sending me info about her current MLM. Sigh. It would've made a good story, but I can't remember exactly what she said.
I was saying the same thing to my screen watching this, "trace, TRACE element!" Even Googling chromium, the 4th thing that popped up from is WebMD, Sept 2023, and right in the little blurb it says "essential trace element." From what I recall, this is what people are talking about when referring to chrome on cars; it is added o stainless steel to make it more corrosion (rust) and tarnish-resistant.
The author of the story is lucky to have learned what was happening before it became chromium poisoning and permanently affected her organs/health. And this is what I don't get about these companies that get into the health & wellness supplement arena with little to no background in or understanding of the field, and then create these incredibly cutthroat sales environments/philosophies where the effort and energy is placed on making sales, building down lines, rather than ensuring your products are safe, and that your clients are getting what they need safely.
Zeke trying to take over your outro is definitely a highlight 😂❤
As someone with almost 20 tattoos who has a habit of forgetting to eat... there have been many times where candy has saved my butt from a half finished tattoo.
At the start of your video when you mentioned starting to feel sick, my husband called out in his most sarcastic tone "you'd better go and drink some essential oils." Seriously though, I hope you are able to get plenty of rest and kitty snuggles, and are feeling better soon
16:24 I bought a prenatal vitamin that was viral on tiktok and got iron poisoning from it! It had wayyy to much iron in it for me and I only found out with my routine prenatal bloodwork. I had to go to the doctors often, change my diet and prenatals and more. It was terrifying
Hannah! Feel better, we appreciate you filming despite not feeling well. I hope you are doing better now. Please feel free to skip or delay videos, we will totally understand. Your health and family are more important!
Never apologize for putting your health first . You are doing a great job as always Hannah .
Oh yes, all those bugs caught from our children. You described the exposure magnification perfectly. I'm sorry I hope you both feel better soon.❤
The chiropractor I saw for years sold Juice Plus. I never knew what it was until I found your channel. I stopped seeing him over another issue a few years ago, but if I hadn't, the Juice Plus thing would have done it for me once I found out. (Fingers crossed, by the time we see this video you and your baby will be back to good health, and you'll have gotten a chance to get some rest. I know it's unheard of for a new mom, but we can hope!)
I usually watch with headphones but today I watched on my TV, and when Zeke arrived, my dogs started running around excitedly looking out all the windows for the kitty.
When you say stuff like we don’t care about the details like needing to film today bc you have family coming or that you’re interjecting too much, just know that we do care and we don’t mind the interjections 😊
if someone is passing out, give them water and sugar! low blood sugar is one common reason, and the other is dehydration causing low blood pressure.
If sugar isn't helping, give them more water and something salty. Salt helps with water absorption with raises blood pressure. And of course, just let them rest for a bit.
That's in fainting first aid from someone with a fainting disorder
My mother also had to stop plexus due to “liver labs” off, she stopped Plexus and labs returned to normal range
Omg same Hannah! I passed out literally during every one of my tattoos, piercings, blood drawings, shots, etc. 😂😭 I always have to tell them to stop trying to feed me because it’s not that lol the needle freaks me out and it’s 100% mental.
Mental, yes, voluntary, no
A lot of health & wellness MLMs encourage their reps to approach their doctor, chiropractor, massage therapist, etc to ask if they can set up a display in their waiting area to try to get patients to buy their products. Doing "classes" featuring the products is not something I've heard before and it makes me think the chiropractor was getting a cut of the commission for the sale of any product they display at the practice.
I know this is a scam
I'm so early to this one Cooper and Zeke are not even awake yet.
I accidentally got myself in a dumb situation with some mlm selling really expensive vacuums. My partner told me 5min before that it was an mlm I was like why did you not tell me before these people are on their way to come into our home to sell this bs to also have me sell it?! It was supposed to take an hour it took 2…. We have 5 kids together lmfao that was horrible. He made us both copy & paste a post to our facebooks like in person in front of him… I was so embarrassed the second I he left I deleted it and made my partner do the same 😂 I did get a free diffuser that allegedly sold for $100… it has rainbow led lights ngl it’s cool but not worth any of that awkward situation lol
Lol I so remember when Rainbow came thru my area right as Kirby left cuz no one could afford,! I only ever heard of 1/ ONE family buying a Kirby..saw maybe 4-5 yrs ago out back at the neighbor's yard sale a couple attachments from Kirby..they are now burgundy & white plastic. Nope no cleaner for sale either! Here the cleaners were priced back when same cost as what most of us paid for our used 1st cars !! Many of us did allow suffering thru sales pitch so our friends, then us, could get our free gifts plus a clean rug! I will say they did clean great but weighed a ton w like 500 add one!! All for $$2-3K at $20 for next 20 yrs with a few hundred down . Did feel bad for the sales men & women. They were just kidd
Hannah!!! Please look up some information about chiropractors, THEY ARE NOT DOCTORS!!!! You should do a video on this topic, it fits well with your channel.
It’s funny how many of her fans are anti-chiropractor, too.
Rest up! And please don't worry about a shorter, or even a missed video if you're sick. Take care of yourself and we'll be here. I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Everytime zeke meowed I picked up my baby monitor thinking it was my baby starting to wake up lol
Same girl
my first tattoo i had gotten, i wasn’t even done with the first line when i felt super light headed. Dad grabbed me a soda and i stared at my phone the whole time and tried desperately to not twitch 😅 my second tattoo i had a HUGE dinner and managed to get through the tattoo without almost fainting lol
As with the first story, dentists keep in their crash cart a tube of frosting (or did when I was in training) in case a patient passes out due to blood sugar
I got a tattoo done last Friday. I had eaten breakfast, a protein bar, and a döner and I still almost passed out and got candy and an Apple from my artist. I cannot imagine doing an even bigger tattoo on a STARVATION DIET.
OMG I got so nervous listening to that Beachbody story, I was like "is she talking about me??" I did some cringey stuff in 2017! But I realized pretty quickly it wasn't me, I never pressured anyone that hard. And I was definitely never top 10!
I miss the tattoo shop i used to go to. It was next door to the best Thai food place! Halfway through a tattoo everyone would order food there and we'd picnic style behind the shop. Its so important to eat if you're getting tattoed or pierced.
Sugar and salt are both necessary in this situation. I found out as a young girl passing out at a supermarket. I've always been prone to fainting, and it could be either low blood sugar or hypotension, for which sugar wouldn't do much. Hope it helps someone
That is always good to keep in mind! I have to drink the full sugar Gatorade in the summer so I can keep everything level lol the rest of the year I drink propell instead because I still need the salt but not as much sugar in the winter.
I’m a house painter, and one of my clients is a chiropractor. His office is overflowing with Kangen water, Young Living oils and a plethora of supplements. I do actually like the guy, but whenever he brings up a supplement with me, I just say, “I’ll have to ask MY DOCTOR about it” and he drops it. Chiropractors are NOT medical doctors, but his clients go to him for all of their health advice and he pushes this crap. It’s amazing they can get away with this obvious conflict of interest.
When I was looking for a job after my divorce, I interviewed with a chiropractor. I don’t remember what kind of snake oil he was peddling, but I was thankful not to get the job and have been anti-chiropractor since then. There’s one in my city that I’ve heard tells people his adjustments can lower their blood pressure. I’m sure they’re not all sketchy, but I’ve heard they have ridiculous student debt and don’t earn that much in relation to the debt load. I think that encourages them to get creative.
I have one small tattoo on my foot (it’s my late dog’s paw print, im 100% done getting tattoos lol) and the tattoo story was pretty concerning. My tattoo only took about 30 minutes and even I was told it was necessary to eat well and drink water before.
Also not shocked about the chiropractor story. I won’t go into all my issues with chiropractors because I know some others feel very differently, but I’m not shocked someone in that profession would have the lack of judgment to promote mlm products in their office.
I've heard that tattoos on the feet are some of the most painful, because of how little padding there is between your skin and those little bones and nerve endings.
The chiropractor probably put the promotion of the MLM products under the umbrella of "other duties as required." 🙄
I like how Zeke sang along with the outro music at the end. 😅 Musical little fellow!
Wow, the Plexus story was super scary.
i have liver issues that unfortunately has an unknown cause so i really feel the struggle of what happened to that lady :,) i'm glad she managed to find the cause and eventually recover
As a tattooed beauty, I can confirm. Sugar is wonderful for tattoos! I always bring a sugary fruit punch with me to sip and I've never passed out. Can't wait to hear the rest of the stories ❤
Bitter’ents! This is an honest and moral woman. She’s never sailed the high seas of the internet.
my partner is out of town and my cat thinks you and Zeke are his family now. I put your videos on to keep me company, and my cat is often on my lap at the same time.
Well. First mistake was thinking a chiropractor would know proper medical stuff.
Yea. Chiropractors are not actual medical doctors and its bogus. Go on.
Wiki it. I dare you
When I got my nipples pierced, my blood sugar dropped immediately after the second one. The piercer put a cold, wet paper towel on my forehead and my chest, and had me take a sugar tablet. I was fine afterwards!
You’re so close to 100k! I’m hoping you’ll reach it before the year ends 🎉
You should be able to get bloodwork at your annual physical exam
I don't recall if I posted this before but Beach Body didn't start out as an MLM. Back in the day it was sold through infomercials. I bought the Insanity from QVC back in the day.
My chiropractor sells ice packs and ergonomic pillows. Thank God that's it.
Mine sells nothing and I appreciate that.
Calling a chiropractor a doctor is about as accurate as calling an MLM rep a business owner. The latter is at least less of a dangerous title. They’re just as shady & scammy as each other. Not surprised at all they’d be shilling MLM products. A doctorate doesn’t make someone a doctor or legalise the qualification 🤷🏻♀️. Not trying to have a go at the person who submitted the story, just to highlight the shittiness of chiropractors & how they go hand in hand with MLM quackery.
We're grateful that you're here sharing these stories! Hope you feel better soon.
Ahh! Just happened to open RUclips looking for some entertainment and I see a brand new video! 🥳
Hope you feel better!
that one storytellers first mistake was considering a chiro a "doctor"
I’m incredibly depressed, rewatching bc of your comforting voice and speech pattern
You commented this a month ago, so I’m hoping life has been kind and that you’re doing a bit better now. All the good juju to you
MLMs and chiropractors are cut from the same cloth, tbh. The guy who invented chiropractic claims to have learned it from a ghost
What??? I've never heard of that. Must do some research on it now 😮😮😮
I hope you feel better, Hannah! You didnt spund sick, but im sure you felt miserable and that made it hard to focus. Ive been so congested for the past 2 weeks and thought i had developed an ear infection, and it has been miserable, so i feel ya, girl! Get some rest and don't feel bad about it! Snuggle up with your baby and watch some Christmas movies! ❤❤
The congestion has been really bad with the colds this year.
Well, of course somebody working at a chiro would be confused by concerns about scams...
I absolutely love that your dad helps with the horror stories ❤️
I only love and look forward to Mondays because of your videos 🤍😂
I’m watching your old videos right now! Excited to see a new one! Hope you had a good week with family (:
Hi Hannah:) Hopefully that cold will pass you by... so many times I'll think I'm coming down with one because of sniffles or a sore throat, but then it goes away. At any rate, you've got to take care of yourself and baby 1st, and any true fan will respect that:)
I passed out when my sister got her cartilage pierced (she was 17 at the time and needed an adult family member who was at least 25 present with her for the appointment but our parents were busy that day, so I went with her) and at the time I couldn't understand why I was given several of those little dum-dum lollipops and a small bottle of apple juice. I guess now I know why.
This is cute, your sister got the piercing, but you (her chaperone) got the fainting. I can see this being something I would do, I think I might be the world's fastest sympathetic crier. Last night I was in the bathroom and heard my brother yawn in the livingroom and I STILL caught his yawn!
That ex employee should report that doctor she is pushing products that are not FDA approved and you can’t assume everyone is one size fits all. That’s a good way to hurt someone and possibly give them something that doesn’t work well with something they are currently taking. That’s abusing a position of power IMO.
Chiropractors are not doctors!
If it's a chiropractor, they might not do much. Chiros aren't MDs, and I don't think they're regulated the same way.
I had to rehome my kitties due to allergies in the home and it makes me feel like I still have them when I hear yours in the background. It’s nice to hear kitties when I’m doing laundry or cooking ❤
Unless one actually has a deficiency (I have D and B12 deficiency) a supplement is just a way to make really expensive urine. And if you have a real deficiency, off the shelf stuff is often not even going to put a dent in the problem. I have to get prescription strength vitamins and the difference in my energy is amazing!
I have heard this as well, except they said that in general in the United States we have the most expensive pee in the world, because we are peeing out all the spendy supplements we buy.
My husband has had the sleeve done for weight loss. The doctor told me he need to use supplements because his body is not absorbing all the nutrients from the food.
@@brucheweinberger6863 that makes sense
I have two very vocal cats, and when Zeke talks, I always think it’s one of mine! I’ve been responding to my cat, Gadget, for a minute straight only to now realize he’s nowhere near me and it’s the cat in the video. 🤭 They have similar meows!
Hope you don’t get too sick/feel better soon! Love your videos, Hannah! Thank you for all you do!
I was in Arbonne before and we were supposed to tell people that the 30 days to healthy living is affordable because it replaces a lot of your groceries…but it’s a weird detox diet and a lot of the supplements are nasty (like the fiber one).
Another good one! I’m due to deliver baby #1 in TWO WEEKS!!
Best wishes for a smooth delivery!
Yes, congratulations and may it all be so easy as to make you the envy of the ward!
Babe wake up Hannah posted
Thank you for pushing through, Hannah! Hope you're feeling better soon!
So... Hanna starting her own MLM, she already recruited her dad 😂😂😂
The very first time i got a tattoo, which was a 1/4 back tat, the artist made me eat candy beforehand. I have never had a reaction to getting tats after that.
Both of the Chiros I’ve been to in my town have MLM stuff in the office to sell. It makes me feel so icky but I like to get my back cracked lol
Hope you feel much better soon! Virtual hugs xx
I sold plexus years ago and did really well. I stopped because i could no longer believe in the product.
Hannah’s dad helping out is adorable
Every time I hear Zeke I have to check that it's not my cat, Kory. Kory is also a loud, yowly cat, who I love dearly (rescued and adopted).
I think I'd fall for an MLM if it rescued/rehomed cats and dogs 😁
As a dog mom, I cannot fathom the “oh this is my first time seeing him today” 😂
When I got my Belly Button pierced, the piercer said I looked very pale. She gave me candy just in case if I do pass out.
That plexus story is so scary!!
I’m the go-to person for people in my friend group for tattoos and piercings (i have several of each and i’ve always been interested in them!) and i always, always let my friends know that they should make sure they’ve eaten recently and hydrated properly before their appointment. It’s so important to make sure you’re in the best possible position to get needles shoved in your body!
Hope you feel better soon Hannah!
I was thinking about story one, and think maybe the client has a similar condition to what I have called Vassal Vagal Syncope. The medical TL;DR is when you feel the sadness or excitement in you chest, that's your vagus nerve. Mine is extra sensitive and causes me to feel faint if I get excited, or emotional. This has caused me multiple times to be on the verge of blacking out, and a good remedy if sugar is not available, is leaning your head between your legs so you don't puke/blackout. It's not fun to deal with but can be remedied with exercise and good eating. It's often undiagnosed, and more common than originally thought.
It sounded like Zeke was part of the outro music! So cute
I hope you feel better soon, Hannah.
10 years ago, in Romania, the Insanity workouts were all the hype. They were put for free in a FB group😂
The piercing place I always go to has a whole fridge full of juice for that exact reason :)
PCP here. We had a similar patient in the office with elevated liver enzymes. They markedly improved when she stopped consuming her Young Living oils. She started them up again and wouldn’t you know - liver enzymes up again. When I suggested YL to be the cause she flipped a switch and became very short with me.
I've been to 3 different chiropractors: the scammer, the indifferent one who didn't want to go to med school and the passionate one who really believes he's helping people but doesn't pressure into unnecessary visits or pushes weird supplements (the owner's wife does have DoTerra in the waiting room and diffusers throughout the offices, but I've never had anything shoved in my face). I probably will ask him about the ghost though lol.
Can totally relate to getting sick when the kids do. I thought we were past all that, but now my 19 yo works in early childcare and he brings home all their plaguey diseases! My husband works in aged care and he brings home sicknesses from there as well. If I think anyone is coming down with a gastro flu I get an anxiety reaction. Argh!
