Nzxt recommends to install the pump so that the tubes are downside. That way you can fit 4 RAM pieces.
I watched this video last night and as soon as this video ended, I called my favorite local PC store and put the last Z790-A they had in stock, on hold. I woke up, sent my Assistant to pick me up this motherboard and the i7 13700K. I'm half done building it.

Watched this after finally having everything hooked up and I had no idea the ssd could be mounted on the cable hiding plate... though I think I'd have the same issue you have anyway and with my 3 sata ssds already its got really cramped. I haven't even installed the aio yet, and my sl120 v2 fans don't come until at least the end of this month 😫. It's been incredibly stressful but somehow also really fun 😅 it's been a lot of years since I built my last PC
What's the point of getting a 13th gen Intel CPU if you aren't also going to get a motherboard that supports DDR5? Might as well wait for 14th gen or buy a 12th gen CPU for hundreds less.
Thats why I had to get the z790 maximus formula. Needed a white MB for my all white build and it is awesome!
