Nice video. I bought the same Bluetti Charger 1. After doing some research on the proper way to install this I was advised to have a 60A fuse no longer than 18 inches from the positive battery post. The closer to the battery post the better. This is because if the amperage draw melts the wires or if something frays the wire insulation and it shorts out it won’t cause a fire.
Great questions. I don't have first-hand experience on that matter, but I think just one. I say that because I think it's more based on your alternator capacity. Maybe (big maybe) if you had dual alternators then you could do two Bluetti Charger 1. Otherwise probably just one, and rotate it between the two power stations. Sorry I cannot be of more help on this topic.
Mine goes off eventually. I haven't timed it. I do recall seeing it green still within at least 5-10 min following. I just checked it again now and it's off after vehicle dormant for 12+ hours. I tried pairing it now via app, and wouldn't show up till I started engine again, so it appears the unit does eventually go off.
Wondering how I can find out if the Bluetti Charger 1 is compatible with my Jackery 3000PRO Power Station. I can’t seem to find anything that shows it does.
When I lookup specs on your power station it shows the following: DC Input: 2x DC 8mm Ports: 11-17.5V (Working Voltage)⎓8A Max, Double to 8A Max; 17.5-60V (Working Voltage)⎓12A, Double to 24A/1400W Max So, based on the DC input, the Bluetti Charger 1 can supply an acceptable charge current. You can set the voltage and amperage in the app to get max wattage on your charge for the Jackery. I think of it like same scenario as hooking a bunch of solar panels together and charging your power station. Kinda similar with Charger 1, but it's faster. Pretty neat that they made it universal.
@@AdventureRocks Excellent news! Would you be able to help me identify the type of cable I'd need to purchase to run from the Charger 1's output to the Jackery 3000PRO's input? This would become much handier than the 400 watts of portable solar panels I have to haul around now!
@jerryball7783 double check me, but I believe this is the cable you need: amzn.to/3B4lkjB The Bluetti Charger 1 comes with MC4 connectors, and I believe your Jackery has the DC barrel plug for input.
Great question. Thank you for the comment. For me it seems minimal as far as impact on my OEM alternator. I haven't noticed any discernible difference so far.
@@AdventureRocks The excess alternator draw with create more heat in the alternator and therefore reduce the alternator service life, if your vehicle is under warranty installing this might void warranty if an electrical problem arises.

Great point. Closer is always better on breakers or fuses. THank you for the comment.
I have a 2007 Ford transit with two batteries under the driver seat. Could I fit two of these to 2 separate power units?

Does your green indicator light turn off after 30 mins? Mine stays on, never turns off unless you obviously flip the breaker.
