Very true. The funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh made me remember how I'd watch "Queen mum" with my own grandmother as a child and how much she admired her. I dearly miss this generation and their sprit.
@@misslovejoy1665 Blessed for saying that. These days it seems it turned to be a fashion to say unkind and not nice things about Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Of course those people are rude and uneducated. But them and their children after them will say unkind things about present Queen in twenty years. Such is the world and such is gratitude.
She led a full and engaging life. Loving every moment of her 101 years, sailing on like a majestic galleon (sorry that's not very feminine but that's how I see her).
Oh wow! Just found this, I remember the day (and all the practicing beforehand). I even managed to find myself at about 22mins. Trying to remember the names of the rest of my unit who were there that day.
Wow, tomorrow is my 21st birthday and my first birthday as Queen. Me and Woody.EXE will have our coronation tomorrow morning and then we’re attending a royal birthday parade later on with my 2009 Woody, my sister and Mummy. This is going to be the best birthday since my 16th and the crowds in Wales are already gathering and they’ll stay overnight. It’s going to be chaos

Quite true! Awful it was to her. Otherwise she would live some time more.
