Dong Mae loved her the whole time...between all 3 of the women he saw regularly she was the only one he would smile around and he was always the one approaching her.
The writer is known for having second couples in kdrama (DOTS and Goblin) so it was a major let down that she didn't made one with Dong Mae and Yang Hwa. Their chemistry tells it all.

My heart hurts for their characters. They died a sad and tragic death. None of them got their love, one loves the person while that person is in love with another. These two are easily at the top of my list of favorite characters. I'm still so heartbroken about the ending. 💔🥺

When I watch this series I felt uncomfortable in my mind. I just want to see Dong Mae and Yang Hwa.But the Director made it to die all of the men Hee Sung Eugene Dong Mae and also include yang hwa. This series is a really good to watch it

I thought the same, I felt his love for Ae-sin was more of 'idealized'. Hina was probably his most closest friend, he just haven't realized yet
