    Sensei Schwartz ... along time ago I asked you a question when you first started your new channel , I wanted to know how the hell you could fly up and down the neck like that when you blessed us with The Ultimate E run practice video, i wanted to know how long you had been playing for and how long would it take me to play like you...LOL you said start with 10,000 hours (classic) ..I replied .."'so your saying theres a chance" you had a little chuckle and I was most proud of myself for making my sensei laugh! dude I have learned so much shiznit from you its ridiculous ..from songs to lick to rhythm ! I now can fly up and down the neck and I could not be prouder! I'm a freakin guitar player !! you my friend are the reason, you inspire me with your playing and you crack me up with your humor ! thank you from my heart , learning guitar has changed my life.

Always have loved and been inspired by your lessons man, you are a big reason why I am where I am with my playing today and you definitely played a part in inspiring me to teach as well! Marty
    so first off thank you for all the instruction over the years
    so I have been an amateur player for like 40 yrs,, and after 25 I started to get lots of elbow tendonitis issues,,, so I discovered that if I tuned down down 2 steps not only did I suffer less tendon issues but and here is the amazing thing suddenly I was able to get much more tremelo, and the many micro tones in bending notes, and also with pedals overdrive and metal I was able to get screams much more easily
    so have you heard of this andwhat do you think
    thanks again

    What would be helpful for me is a way to approach blues or bluesy solos for songs which are not the usual blues standards, for example "Lazybones", "Makin' Whoopee", "Am I Blue". Working out the chords is OK, but how to create blues solos for melodic songs instead of simply playing the melody. Thanks

    I REALLY struggle with slow vibrato. My vibrato is much more like BB King and Woody Weatherman (Corrosion of Conformity)
    I wish I could play it slower. I practice and PRACTICE yet still the same results. Not sure I can't get it the way I want it.

    • @minighs
      @minighs 5 лет назад

      For slow vibrato, I always use the "push pull" technique, which is more of a classical guitar thing. I find I am able to control my speed quite well with this technique.
