Liliac’s cover version of this song is phenomenal, and their version of Rainbow in the Dark got the attention of Wendy Dio, Ronnie’s widow. She personally invited them to perform at the Ride for Ronnie motorcycle ride and concert. Definitely check them out, the lead singer Melody modeled her singing after Ronnie James Dio. She is only 17 in those videos and her brothers and sister in the band range from 12-20. They were supposed to play at Rocklahoma but it was canceled due to the Pandemic and they are going to be on America’s Got Talent in the next few weeks.

After liking Dio you have to check out this band called "Liliac". The name means bat, and the parents are from Romania. Anyway you like female singers, and she sounds like a female version of Dio for real, and she plays bass as Dio did as well. The band is also all siblings all under 21yrs. old. Female vocal and Drums, the drummer reminds me of Tommy Lee,,,lol! Anyhow check out their cover of this song Holy Diver on your own or a reaction as they did many covers..But they also are producing their second album as we speak..I haven't heard anything quite like them in over 25yrs. I just found them on YT a few weeks ago and thought at first,,oh okay another triubte,,much better than that. Dio was incredible as an artist and a person. If you hear a song you like, chances are the live version is even better somehow. From here I would listen to Children of Sea or Heaven and Hell. Both are from his days with Sabbath and he put the band back in the spotlight after Ozzy left and brought metal back to the forefront. That whole album is considered one the best of all time. #1 with Dio. When Rob Halford is asked who he would have for a lead singer if he formed the ultimate band and instantly says Dio that is saying a ton as the two of them and Bruce of course were imo and many others the top 3 Metal singers that influenced many a band today.
#2 I know you do new bands occasionally. After liking Dio you have to check out this band called "Liliac". The name means bat, and the parents are from Romania. Anyway you like female singers, and she sounds like a female version of Dio for real, and she plays bass as Dio did as well. The band is also all siblings all under 21yrs. old. Female vocal and Drums, the drummer reminds me of Tommy Lee,,,lol! Anyhow check out their cover of this song Holy Diver on your own or a reaction as they did many covers..But they also are producing their second album as we speak..I haven't heard anything quite like them in over 25yrs. I just found them on YT a few weeks ago and thought at first,,oh okay another triubte,,much better than that. Oh, I guess they are going to be on this season of AGT,,I'm not a reality show watcher, but its for publicity for the band I'm sure as they will go places....Give them a look......DIO!!!!

I love Dio, I saw him live once and the other band that was playing? Alice Cooper! One of the best concert experiences I ever had.
Dio was incredible as an artist and a person. If you hear a song you like, chances are the live version is even better somehow. From here I would listen to Children of Sea or Heaven and Hell. Both are from his days with Sabbath and he put the band back in the spotlight after Ozzy left and brought metal back to the forefront. That whole album is considered one the best of all time. Great reaction! Subscribed.
