Hey man ! love your work ! i want to try it out, but i have two question so i dont waste money 1 - If it is made of steel or stainless steel instead of aluminium, will it break when i dig the groove ? 2 - Can i use that with a sharp blade ? will the heat dull it ? No matter if you answer it or not, huge thanks for this tutorial, loved the video !

A.R Rosoir, thanks for your comments! 1 - I don't see a problem using an iron or stainless steel katana as long as you make the groove slowly. 2 - Similar to the question above, the heat might deform or weaken the metal, so if you work slowly, I don't think it will be a problem. Blades are dangerous and you don't want to burn yourself with a burning katana, so be careful 😆

1 - I don't see a problem using an iron or stainless steel katana as long as you make the groove slowly.
2 - Similar to the question above, the heat might deform or weaken the metal, so if you work slowly, I don't think it will be a problem.
Blades are dangerous and you don't want to burn yourself with a burning katana, so be careful 😆
