My parents had a St. Bernard dog years ago. She spent all day outside. Only came indoors for the night. And she loved crashing through sand, mud, water and snow. She got cleaned up a lot, but would look like a mess after a day outside. Husky's are outside dogs as well. :)

My husky would come inside until the kids went to bed then he would go outside to sleep. if it was windy, he wouldnt sleep in his doghouse, he'd bury himself in snow with only his nose sticking out.

Neeka loved the snow but she much preferred to be with the people she loved. As she aged she became a little arthritic and the cold and arthritis aren’t compatible . When she passed over to the Rainbow Bridge it broke our hearts. The love was mutual and we will always miss her. She was a character.
