I’ve listened to hundreds of science fiction stories and this is truly an original and uniquely has a happy ending. Fantastic job.

Well my friend, here I am at 0300 again, thinking this story should be the first episode of a new channel called "Galactic Wonders". Congratulations, great story👍

I don't care how nice a planet is, I still wouldn't want to be on it. If it gets mad at you you're screwed!

This story had a lot of potential, I just want to give some critiques… (if the author see’s this, I hope you don’t take it the wrong way) because it was really good, but I was drawn out of it multiple times. The words “vast, connection, profound, etc.” was used way too much and there was a lot of telling and way too much descriptive words that just made the story a repetitive descriptive word story with some details about what they were going through. There was a climax yes, but it was like… “okay… that’s random… does this happen often?” and how they defended the planet wasn’t really explained too well, like how did it use the machines to protect it? And how was the guardians protecting it? Were they covering? Fighting? I mean there was nothing to draw me in to understand why they went there or what lead them to this journey. When the story went on to describe its shared memories, it was a bunch of repeated description that was used rather than just showing us what their seeing and experiencing, same with the test and the same when they went back home to tell everyone. There was so much yet there was nothing, if that makes sense. I didn’t feel the connection with the characters or the planet, the storm was random and it was like “why?” And was there a length of how long they had to stay? And were they only meant to find one planet? Or did they perhaps discovered it due to some research and had to explore? What year is it for them to be this advance?… there’s many questions and plot holes. There was so much that could have been done that I was truly left with questions, the ending was beautiful tho but it seemed like it didn’t know how to end due to the repeat of those words again “connection/profound l ect.” like I get it, so I felt a little bit unsatisfied with so much potential this story had. (Sorry this is long😅)

      I agree.
I think a lot of the problems was it was far too much tell and not show.
it almost feels like an expanded outline of what will be written

I believe that the planet is going to discuss details of the humans with the very next race it encounters. If that next race is friendly, benign or even apathetic, that could good and even a very good thing to do. If the next species that wanders over to the glass plant is some Dark Forest alien, or a race or privateers or thieves. That could be problematic of us.
