My father played sax his whole life. We were very close untill were'nt. He died two years ago alone in the hospital from cancer. He didnt tell us he was sick. 9 years ago, I heard this song and thought, ‘Yep, I’m gonna be the next MohiSax.’ So, I bought a saxophone, imagining myself smashing out this tune, ‘Lily Was Here,’ and ‘Careless Whisper.’ Fast forward 9 bloody years… I haven’t played a single note. But this sax? Oh mate, it’s practically part of the family now. When I moved to Australia, I left important stuff behind-like my dignity-just to bring this shiny piece of guilt with me. Melbourne to Sydney, Sydney to Perth, this sax has done more road trips than most Aussies. My missus keeps nagging, ‘Why do you keep dragging that thing around? You don’t even open it!’ And honestly, fair dinkum, I’ve got no clue-maybe it’s the dream, or maybe I just like looking like a bloke with untapped potential. Still, every time I see Jimmy Sax live, I see myself up there playing like a bloody legend, dreaming I’m smashing it. One day, I’ll pick it up, and I swear, I’ll at least learn this song. Until then, it’s me and this sax, on the world’s longest guilt trip. Deadset, this thing’s got more miles on it than my frequent flyer card. FMD. 4:50

I remember back in 2016 when I was going through divorce, I had so much build up inside me and I couldn’t let it out… when I heard this song it help me cry so much but it will made me feel better… now is 2024 I’m happy I have 2 daughters and I feel amazing… now it makes me cry of happiness, I really thought I wasn’t gonna make it but here I am better than I thought!!
