showing you guys my favourite settings to set to make your game more fun using the "MC Command Center" Mod!

MY SETTINGS:
Money Settings - Change Bill Percent - -80
Notif Settings - all turned on
Relationship Settings - allow teen parenting: on
Age Span Durations - Baby: 8, Toddler: 30, Child: 80, Teen: 115, Young Adult: 160, Adult: 170, Elder: 80
MC Population - bar nights: Singles, Ladies & Guys (rest are turned off)
MC Pregnancy - allow pregnant aging: on, Pregnany Duration: 9 days, Use Random Moods: on.
MC Tuner - emotional deaths: off, Monster under the bed: off, Multiple BFFs: on, Friendly "ask if single": on, Friendly "stay the night": on (all of these are under the behavour section.)
MC Woohoo - Riskey Woohoo: 50%, Bed Sharing: on, All Moods birth control: on.

For pregnancy, my settings are also for 9 days, too! It feels realistic for me bc of the trimesters.
1-3 days (first trimester)
4-6 days (second trimester)
7-9 days (Third trimester)
But sometimes I feel impatient and sometimes scared because i also have RPO mod install in the miscarriagee feature, which is annoying at times.
I agree! I also have RPO but I don’t have the miscarriage module, I don’t think I can handle that for my sim😅
if you scared of a miscarriage you can disable it or lower the chance of one happening
Thanks for this video and the tipps. I only use MCCC on single Sims and not the general settings. You showed some things I definitely want to change. AND I'm so on your side when it comes to your age settings. I'm playing without aging because even the long setting is not enough days for me because I want to do many things storywise before my Sims age and die. Therefore I let them only age manually by cheating when A LOT of days past by. In my eyes your settings and playstyle is very relatable. Again great video.
since making this video, my aging settings have been turned off lol. I made “holidays” for my sims “birthdays” and so they age like we do lol.
@@babysims wow now that's a long play. But I would like to ask you how you do it exactly (this could be something for me 😅). So do you set a birthday every four weeks (the standard Sim year) and this makes them one year older? And how many years/birthdays do you play before aging? If you don't mind to tell me it would be cool to know.
so I have my seasons set to 14 days each. I have 6 sims in my household. (mom,dad, 3 kids, and the oldest kids girlfriend.) I didn’t put the mom and dads bdays on because I usually stop counting when they turn adults 😅, but for the 3 kids I literally made a holiday called “luna’s birthday” on the day they were born. so every sim year that passes, they go up an age. like real life. for example, my sim luna, is 18. in 2 sim weeks, she’ll be 19 because her birthday is coming up on the calendar. when you turn aging off you don’t have to worry about their birthdays automatically popping up on the calendar so I like to do it this way.
and for the amount of birthdays, it depends on what age you consider the start of the life span. for me, I think
toddler: 2 years old.
child: 5 years old
teen: 13 years old
young adult: 19 years old
adult: 30 years old
elder: 50 years old.
so when I get to those numbers, I do the whole cake and candles thing

I'm the same when it comes to the long life span. I find it so weird when people play short. Like how do you get anything done? I like my sims to have an actual life before they breed and die. Lol 😆
this video is back when I had my life spans on lolll, I recently just turned off aging. I feel like even long was too short for me 😅

that’s a good theory! it’s very possible that your sim lost someone to them, but I find sims get sad randomly too
Cool, but how do you open that menu? I dont get the same one when I click on my Sim, and I find nothing simmiliar in the game. What am I doing wrong?
you can find the menu on the computer, by clicking on your sim or by clicking on the mailbox. the actual control center is when you click the computer. if it isn’t showing up, make sure you installed the newest version and that you installed it correctly.

i’ve adjusted the mccc household limit setting to 16 so i can have my legacy challenge in one house (so i don’t lose graves) - but it won’t let me move them back in. does anyone know the what the problem could be?

sorry for the late response, i hope you figured it out! if you didn’t: im not totally sure, but sometimes when you change the household size it bugs out because if EA’s “8 sims per household” rule, so that could be it. possibly try to move half of them to a different lot, then move the other half into the house, invite the others over, and cheat them into your household. im not sure if that makes sense lol. and no problem! happy to help :)

Thank you. It is such a huge mod to work through. Setting the ages has always confused me - did I understand right... all I have to do is click on long life (which is the ingame setting I use) then just enter the number of days I want for each life stage?

hi my mccommand center doesn’t have the icons on it, but just text and doesn’t have all features, do u know how to fix that?

hi... so u go to mccommandcenter by clicking from the in game computer and not from your sims. hope this help.

Ok so after doing the setting do I restart the sims in the EA app or do I leave and come back to the sims 😅 sorry if the question sounds stupid I’m just a new player

I agree 100%, we are required to take it for the seventh and eight grade and then you have an option to take it again in your high school grades here. I took it for the 6&7 grades but didn’t continue. you learn how to take care of babies but you also learn how to do CPR and how to help in medical emergencies. it’s a good class!

if you have a household that’s over 8 sims and go into CAS, it’ll delete any sims after the 8th sim. I find it’s better to keep your household size at 8.
I am trying to grow my household on my ps4 but u need the mcc setting on the computer which I don’t have as an option on mine

if you mean the custom content (CC) in the thumbnail, then you can check my cc finds blog on tumblr (babysimsccfindss) or you can check pinterest, tumblr or even google some and it’ll come up!

Click ur sims computer or ur sim & it’ll be an option

make sure that you installed it correctly and it isn’t more than one folder deep in your mods folder.

right! when I was in middle school we had a “child studies” class that taught us basic parenting and how to take care of kids.
