Really cool! They look great. Really like the TP paper mache for the waves.

Thank you :) It worked so well I'll probably use it for future water bases.

Man I like how you use the back of the brush to take out the pot. I only have a citadel paints. And I do most of my painting at night. I’ve pooched a few brushes now dipping the furrow right into the paint, good idea !!!

    • @HeroesBosses

Yeah, I used to have a brush that was ONLY used for getting out paint, but this way is easier :) You just have to be careful not to tear the paper on your wet palette.

Love the tentacles! Cephalopods are a natural for polymer clay sculpture. I'm a bit worried about your Corax model paint as a primer, though. Polymer clay is a bit finicky about what your can prime it with. The safest way to go is artist's acrylic gesso, but one can always test. It seems the clay has binders in it that can react with some finish components.

Interesting - I'll keep that in mind for my next project. So far so good though - nothing weird is happening with the paint. Though I won't use 'Ardcoat gloss varnish again. It's still super sticky to the touch. Better off with a spray on gloss.

That damned Kraken nearly ate one of the players, too.

One of H&B's players here! He wasn't kidding about getting these done fast. Awesome results, though.
When the tentacles came from behind his DM screen, there was a collective gasp from every player at the table. It ended up being the most epic fight we've had with these characters!
