This is really cool! I like the way the skin of tentacles is textured with tiny shiny beads. Pink, Fuzzy and sparkly skin is totally opposite from the "real" tentacles, so this makes the sculpture really fun!

I was about a third through when I thought "this looks like a fairly simple piece by ZvZ standards".
Then you started sculpting the boat and adding all those tiiiiiny lines. Then you started in on the beads!!

Ah such an amazing job! How did you attach the boat? I'm curious! The attention to detail is stunning as always, and I love how this feels like an illustration from a children's book of cautionary fairytales.
The two wires that were sticking out of the boat. (Its the same way I attached the cats in the cat/cauldron video, if you want to see the process)

Want to try Felting but have seen some amazing Cat faces done by an Asian Artist called Waneco.
I can't wrap my brain around how people make structures by poking felt stuff with a needle.
I’m a big fan and subscriber, but, why felt and not clay? Did I say I was a fan?
Haha thanks. a) wanted to try something different. b) clay might break with long tall structures. Wire + felt is flexible
