Exactly Corey literally ended Sam and colbys friendship with Elton cause he was lying to Elton about them saying they were abusing him and his mental health and making fun of it yet Corey was the one begging to go on the videos cause he cancelled a few times then halfway through the video he would always call Sam and Colby saying he wants to join the video now and blah blah then abuses then straight after.

This is probably the most genuine video i’ve seen about a falling out because it all felt very real and you taking the time to explain to the viewers means a lot. It’s so sad to hear about how you were taken advantage of and treated and i know if elton is a part of the channel it’ll still be top tier going forward just because of how much effort you put into it.
I just came from Corey's tiktok video. Reading all the comments made me see how toxic his community is. Everything in this comment section has so much sympathy and understanding for both you and Corey. This really shows the kind of people You both attract
Fr, this video and Corey's made me realize that I don't want to be a part of a community like this. This drama should have stayed offline like Corey wanted. It is unnecessary and shows how toxic this channel and its followers are and I don't want to be associated anymore with it.
A somewhat older fan here, I discovered TFIL somewhere around 2017 I don't remember when exactly, all I know is that the first video I saw was the "BREAKING INTO A HAUNTED MALL w/ Sam & Colby" video, and from that moment I was hooked. All i remember is binge watching pretty much all of your videos, from the older adventures with Heath and your "ex ex" girlfriend until I caught up with then* current videos (in 2017), and I've been watching you ever since, I've seen how the exploring videos with Sam and Colby slowly turned into haunted videos, and personally I was all for it, mainly because you in particular (along with Sam and Colby ) were genuinely invested into it and wanted to discover more, wanted to find out if the paranormal was real or not (as non believers). I've loved the videos and watched pretty much EVERY SINGLE ONE* up until like 8 or so months ago... then i stopped, at first i didn't know why until again I clicked on one of the videos and i realized that I just couldn't stand Corey anymore... the constant whining regardless if he agreed to something or not, him bailing out of almost any situation EVERY SINGLE FUCKING VIDEO, lowering the mood of the entire crew, again the complaining... I think this is for the best, and I think that you'll find even more success without him. Love from Croatia!

They don’t want us here” it was in one of the asylums I don’t remember which one you said no. We always leave when something happens. You’re not learning about what happened. You’re not pushing for answers and you literally made him & everyone stay to properly communicate to the spirit. You pushed for that change. I love your channel because you actually push for answers. You joke and have a laugh but also your mind is focused and you absolutely nail giving viewers what we want. I first found you through Sam and Colby back in the trap house and prank war era. I love Sam & colby but I can’t stand their paranormal videos anymore. Years on from them investigating there’s not really much change and the majority of the videos is history & then jokes / games and very little investigation. Something happens on equipment and they move on 9/10. I love them guys and find them halarious but the quality for the videos just don’t hit the spot for me. This channel is brilliant. You make it series to give us as much content and evidence as possible. You make jokes and give history but it’s just SO different. Corey didn’t make the channel. You did. I’m looking forward to seeing where you take the channel for the next half of the year working with different people. I wish nothing but the best for this channel for you. I will always be watching and supporting because you go above and beyond and listen to the feedback we give. PS: thank you for providing these videos that we love and laugh at with you. Honestly i agree, the locations you go to people would line up just to go with you guys to experience stuff like that, personally ive never been on a ghost hunt, its on my bucket list, i imagine there are loads of people like me that for whatever reason hasnt been able to do things like that and it should never be taken for granted @Overnight

Corey bailing on the charity events he agreed to do is absolutely crazy. I watched the entire charity stream live, that whole week, from when they woke up to when they went to sleep. Those people made huge donations for the chance to meet him, and no matter what was happening behind the scenes, I never imagined he would stand up fans who donated money like that. Really heartbroken about who I thought Corey was.

I want to apologize for avoiding this video for 4 months. I’ve been a viewer of your content since the beginning of TFIL. And sadly I did follow Corey to this channel. I did notice his lack of participation but just blamed it on his fear like he showed in Sam and Colby’s videos before he quit on them. I’m very sorry for how much you’ve lost over the years due to him. I’ve been through similar with childhood friends of mine and it’s a hurt like no other. I’m so grateful you made this video and unedited as well. Elton you are an amazing and truly beautiful man with such a big heart. Honestly I quit watching the overnight channel for quite some time because of some of the reactions kinda annoyed me. The latest suicide forest series totally drew me back in and loved it.
I don’t think I have ever gained more respect for someone so fast. I always thought he was a little harsh and a little crazy but I could always see the softer side to him and the caring side. While watching this video I just realized how much of an absolute incredible human he is and know he did what he did out of confusion and passion and frustration. I was so intrigued this whole video and I loved how real and genuine this was. I just need this to be said that you are an absolute amazing human and you deserve so much better. The fact you even point out how you could have handed past relationships badly bc of what he said is admirable. You’re taking accountability for everything you did (which is like nothing bc you are a fucking amazing person). It makes so much more sense now why he always got “sick” and it is crazy to know he just didn’t want to do the video. I also didn’t know that when he said he quit in the videos he ment it…I just thought he said it as a joke. I 100% agree with you! I sided with Corey as well and thought it was something Elton did and I feel so bad that I let that interfere with me not wanting to watch overnight because of it. It is crazy to know that this all went down and I couldn’t see it.

I noticed Elton's behavior towards Corey slowly shift through the videos. Subtle looks, reactions, etc. In the video's without Corey, I've seen a huge shift. Better focus on the paranormal stuff, better communtication between the crew, everything flows better. This is just a bump in the road to better things. I can't wait to see this chanel thrive, truly doing what they set out to do.

@@crissynunyabznz sometimes I do, sometimes but TBH, I got insanely lucky during covid & invested very very wisely (if it had gone wrong... it would be the opposite result) and that's where my income has come from & also, merch boxes. it took 7 years to figure out how to get the price down as much as possible so they are extremely affordable & also, when we sell out, i make enough to have a solid life for my family & doggos.

After watching this twice (once by myself & the second with my mom and dad who went with me to Haunted Homies season 1 at ISS for the podcast) the memories that flashed through my head were sad. Ginger was all over the check in process. Jerry all over merch table (btw my dad loved his energy). Both Kyle & Martti all over getting the cameras/sound/microphones/music/lighting ready. These were also the people who tore everything down before we started the investigation. Elton, you gave us the run down of the entire night. Told us what to pay attention to & best places to investigate. Once our tour with the workers was over, you told us where to put it stuff for home base. You provided snacks & water for us. Not to mention you gave us gifts of cats balls to use throughout the night, then keep. You gave us the run through of all the equipment. Went over opening the vail & how we should go about it. I don’t recall a single moment where Corey offered anything. He talked when splitting up & grouping, but I remember Evan talking more than him. The memory that sticks out the most was you turning to Corey and saying “Are you ready? Like fully” then asked Evan, then ended up asking us. I feel like that had way more behind it now, after hearing this. I may have gotten the best paranormal evidence with Corey & Evans group, but I loved the morgue with you Elton🫶 As someone who has watched you since Vine…it’ll take some time to process, but I can’t wait to see how the channel shifts for the better! I would love for you guys to find a way to gain access to the ranch from the Owner or CEO and do an investigation! I have heard many stories from my Supervisor who lives on the Ranch fulltime. I have been here for 7 months now and I still see things in the corner of my eye from time to time. Especially working the graveyard shift, my eyes have learned to adjust to my surroundings. To be EXTREMELY clear, I watch this channel religiously only for elton. You could always see the amount of time, energy and effort he put in to constantly improve videos. I love his excited rambles when he finds a new tool and it works. That is someone who truly cares about the quality of content he's making and the people who watch it. It also makes me sad when he has to apologise for videos being delayed because he's sick. At those times i wondered we'll if he's sick then surely someone else can take over editing just for that time. In hindsight that makes sense now. I have been watching TFIL since 2018 and Overnight since it started. You could always see that elton always prioritised his friends well-being and them having fun. When you set that goal for the charity livestream and ended up donating money on top of that i will admit, i was genuinely worried because i didn't want you to fvck yourself over. In the sense that its very easy to take advantage of people who give and give and give. So im glad that at least it ended and hope you're happier now
What made me sad about this comment is the fact your so right about giving people being taken advantage of and them left feeling like their in the wrong for finally standing up for themselves and the selfish one continues to spread lies so their not seen for their own actions. Again your 100% right

It honestly pisses me off he literally had THE EASIEST JOB EVER. Literally all he had to do was show up and do the bare minimum. Had a job that people literally DREAM of (including me). The issue with people like Corey is that when they claim abuse and shit like that they will stick to their guns because their ego is too big to apologize/admit they were wrong. He KNOWS he's wrong, but to say it out loud and cement it means with absolute certainty that he won't be "successful" elsewhere. now iv seen Corey do this twice. 1st the Sam n Colby now with Elton. this is wild to me. Honestly, half way through the video, I liked how I honestly didn't need evidence, as all the videos online on your channels are already the proof. I've seen other youtube channels with him in it and I've always felt something was off. Overnight channel caught my attention because of you Elton, mainly because I loved how you pushed boundaries and made it fun to watch. Within the videos I noticed how he loved to just ride with shit act through it, and suddenly cut off the vibe whenever he wanted. Now anyone with sanity KNOWS that even though your videos can be extreme, non of it could take place WITHOUT so much money going in to it and of course without your friends knowing. It's just INSANE that he got to just ride with you for free, and not feel the tiniest gratitude for it. And I know you said you didn't mind your friends actually making money and becoming succesful. Doesn't that man live in a full ass mansion with his fam? Last time I've had seen a video of his house my mouth dropped to the floor. I met you in June of 2023. I came to Funny Bone in Syracuse NY for the haunted homies show. It was you, Matt & Cory. Before you started the show, i was sitting at the bar & I saw you run around talking to security & the people who were working the event. (I took videos shaking because I was so excited to see you) during the show, I sat right at the stage & got a little tipsy before the show because I was so nervous. I ended up telling you guys a story that in turn gave me the nick name “Supercuts” 🤣 at the end of the show, I was second in line to come see you guys. I told you that I bought the first merch you ever made but was sad because I actually left it in Canada during a trip. You were so kind & thanked me for supporting you for so long. Later on, when I posted photos to my instagram, you, on your own account took the time to like not just mine, but everyone else who posted that nights photos. I gained so much more respect for you that day because I saw with my own eyes how hard you worked to make the show fun for everyone. Also to add, I remember you saying out loud that you wanted to make sure you got the chance to meet everyone, not just the VIP’s & told the security that you might have to push back the start of the next show that night. Little later so you could meet everyone. It’s so obvious to me that this is something you do out of joy & love for everyone. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this time.
I believe Elton because friends can always make fun of you for anything and everything, but again, sometimes friends can set boundaries towards each other too. Corey's arguments were confusing and his insults towards Elton was inexcusable.
i've known you since traphouse. and i VIVDLY remember on one of the videos on someone's channel, while everyone was drinking and having fun - you were working in the garage. at the time i just thought "oh he's a bit older than the rest so probably not interested in same things". i may not always liked you (for being pushy actually) but it was ALWAYS visible that you work your ass off. and i do very much so believe everything you said, because as i type this - *blank* on private account is tweeting non stop about this video (calling you "old" and "throwing a tantrum" is straight up DIABOLICAL). imma be honest to the bone here - i never was a full blown fan of either of you, but AT VERY LEAST you never seemed 2 faced (which is what i value in people the most), since if you did you would have done everything to not look pushy or angry in any of the videos. now looking back i remember people from THE other channel ALSO having to end up being pushy to corey before going "fuck it" and doing it themselves. I don’t think any of us expected him to leave like that. I absolutely loved Corey, his humor brought so much to the channel. However, I did kind of notice that he started to be louder, more obnoxious in your videos. I kind of took that as he wanted more attention and it started to turn me away. I think you and everyone involved with this channel will continue to thrive no matter what. The passion and love you put into your videos definitely shows, especially now that everyone involved is truly there for us, not the money or fame.
I totally agree. I loved Corey his humor and his whole demeanor. But something has been off lately, like something’s changed and not for the better. Still wishing him the best in life, but sad he took a great opportunity and friendship and threw it all away.

So basically : Point 1: Elton’s pays for all expenses. Such as : Equipment, Location, Travel ( planes, car rentals, food, hotels, gas, repairs for motor home and whatever else) including paying the production costs ( paying editors and whatever else that is needed bts ) As well as the merch costs ( paying the production of merch , costs of materials and contractual relationships which I’m sure he has a lawyer for all this too that looks things over for the channel so there’s that costs too) Point 2: Maintenance of relationships for example collaborations. Elton was the person that had to reach to other RUclipsrs to have these collaborations. You have to have great communication to do this and if you don’t have good relationships in the community it makes it hard to put out videos that viewers are commenting and asking for. So if Corey id out here burning these bridges it hard for Elton to rebuild these bridges to allow these videos to happen. Point three : Collaborations and employee pay. Elton pays people to be in these videos because they bring in views and audiences from their channel and he pays Corey’s to be in the videos along with again every one else that help make these videos amazing before he even considers money for himself because anything Elton gets goes right back into all the costs listed above. So if you think about it, Elton does make less than Corey because Corey pays none of the stuff that is listed above he is only gaining money never losing money because everything is paid for by Elton Point four : Other than being there for the video and the comedic relief Corey contributes nothing. Not for the planning, not for the brainstorming and not for post recording production. If you are a part of the channel and a friend of the person that is doing all of this … you would think that he’d help out more. Like contributing to those main parts of having a channel and idk … maybe staying for the whole video ?? Now look I watched Corey’s video before coming here and I watch it again after watching Elton’s video. From what I got from Corey’s video is him just justifying things that honestly are tiny. For example the sickness part during the charity live stream. Corey felt like he needed to justify that and that’s fine but it doesn’t really add much because Elton himself gave reasons that could explain that because Elton stated that it’s normal for people who are sick to have these little burst of energy so Elton even tried to explain that away. Also Corey showed his stub of pay but tbh that doesn’t really do much either because Elton said how much he paid Corey and it just shows that Corey was making money from the videos. Corey should of said you know what … me and Elton have known each other for x amount of years I need to call him up and ask to sit down and he should of sat down with Elton and said hey over the years this is how I felt and it’s all led to me feeling the way I feel now and this has caused me to come to the decision of ending the relationship of the overnight channel and Elton could have said hey from my point of view this is what I’m seeing and how I’m feeling about this because of all the hard work and money I put into this surely you can see why I’m saying what I’m saying in response to what you just said so how about we compromise( or not even a compromise but a find good way to end the partnership of overnight )because your decision affects me , the channel , the money. So for every one coming from Corey’s videos on tik tok you should understand that some people are looking at things from a business point of view and a friend ship point of view and some people are going to look at this as a versus but to put it out there these men are people that we watch and support so you don’t have to give up one or the other if you don’t want to because that’s not what they are saying but just understand the background of what had happened and form your opinion and respect both people and their decisions.
honestly lukewarm take, Corey showing the paystubs showing how he gets paid less than a regular minimum wage annually than EDITORS who aren’t even the faces of the program. If you want to say it’s because of effort and how much Elton was putting in sure, but that’s because he RUNS the channel, corey even says at the very beginning he only joined overnight thinking it would be a duo channel and assumed he would be taken half the responsibility, but for elton to basically switch up and make it his own and then blame Corey for not making more ‘effort’ when he effectively prevents it makes no logical sense. even when corey wanted his own merch to make some more money he wasn’t able to, and honestly is crazy for any actor/influencer (i only say actor for the sake of clarity not saying the make anything up) to be paid 800-1000$ Per shoot, it shows just how much elton values him as a member to the show. and honestly seeing elton’s past history with his friends, i’ve lost all faith in him and honestly believe he likely manipulated corey into joining overnight under the guise of it being a duo channel.
It breaks my heart to hear the genuine sadness in his voice and the sadness in his eyes. Eltons vidoes have been such amazing works of art in my eyes and to hear how hes had to keep all of this bottled up for so long while also putting in such much work saddens me. Hopefully now that corey isnt he to drag you down without putting in any help the chaneel will thrive and you can mend some broken relationships. This takes me way back to the Trap House days, I always thought it was a little weird that Corey had that huge Master Bedroom with the fireplace and private bathroom all for himself and occasionally Devyn, while everyone else had a regular bedroom and a shared bathroom. Guess that should’ve been a sign of what he thought of himself compared to everyone else. Pretty sure he pulled the same stunt in the Trap House 2.0 in Hawaii, taking the Master Bedroom with the big French doors while the other guys all had normal rooms. Prick. This truly breaks my heart! As someone who has been watching TFIL since the Heath & Zane days and OVERNIGHT since the very beginning, it breaks my heart to see you go through this! As someone who lives in New Zealand, it has been such a privilege to see the love you have for our little country! Every video you post you can genuinely tell how much effort and money you put into them, so thank you for everything YOU have done! I literally traveled halfway across the world to go to Warped Tours' 25th Anniversary show not only because of the bands but primarily to meet you and buy merch from your stall, I was also lowkey hoping you would jump on stage with Simple Plan and sing your song. But, Corey is the real loser in this situation as he lost out on a true friend, that not many people get the privilege to experience. Exactly Corey literally ended Sam and colbys friendship with Elton cause he was lying to Elton about them saying they were abusing him and his mental health and making fun of it yet Corey was the one begging to go on the videos cause he cancelled a few times then halfway through the video he would always call Sam and Colby saying he wants to join the video now and blah blah then abuses then straight after.

This is probably the most genuine video i’ve seen about a falling out because it all felt very real and you taking the time to explain to the viewers means a lot. It’s so sad to hear about how you were taken advantage of and treated and i know if elton is a part of the channel it’ll still be top tier going forward just because of how much effort you put into it.

I discovered TFIL somewhere around 2017 I don't remember when exactly, all I know is that the first video I saw was the "BREAKING INTO A HAUNTED MALL w/ Sam & Colby" video, and from that moment I was hooked. All i remember is binge watching pretty much all of your videos, from the older adventures with Heath and your "ex ex" girlfriend until I caught up with then* current videos (in 2017), and I've been watching you ever since,
I've seen how the exploring videos with Sam and Colby slowly turned into haunted videos, and personally I was all for it, mainly because you in particular (along with Sam and Colby ) were genuinely invested into it and wanted to discover more, wanted to find out if the paranormal was real or not (as non believers).
I've loved the videos and watched pretty much EVERY SINGLE ONE* up until like 8 or so months ago... then i stopped, at first i didn't know why until again I clicked on one of the videos and i realized that I just couldn't stand Corey anymore... the constant whining regardless if he agreed to something or not, him bailing out of almost any situation EVERY SINGLE FUCKING VIDEO, lowering the mood of the entire crew, again the complaining...
I think this is for the best, and I think that you'll find even more success without him.

They don’t want us here” it was in one of the asylums I don’t remember which one you said no. We always leave when something happens. You’re not learning about what happened. You’re not pushing for answers and you literally made him & everyone stay to properly communicate to the spirit. You pushed for that change.
I love your channel because you actually push for answers. You joke and have a laugh but also your mind is focused and you absolutely nail giving viewers what we want.

I love Sam & colby but I can’t stand their paranormal videos anymore.
Years on from them investigating there’s not really much change and the majority of the videos is history & then jokes / games and very little investigation. Something happens on equipment and they move on 9/10.
I love them guys and find them halarious but the quality for the videos just don’t hit the spot for me.
This channel is brilliant. You make it series to give us as much content and evidence as possible. You make jokes and give history but it’s just SO different.
Corey didn’t make the channel. You did.
I’m looking forward to seeing where you take the channel for the next half of the year working with different people.

Those people made huge donations for the chance to meet him, and no matter what was happening behind the scenes, I never imagined he would stand up fans who donated money like that. Really heartbroken about who I thought Corey was.

I noticed Elton's behavior towards Corey slowly shift through the videos. Subtle looks, reactions, etc. In the video's without Corey, I've seen a huge shift. Better focus on the paranormal stuff, better communtication between the crew, everything flows better. This is just a bump in the road to better things. I can't wait to see this chanel thrive, truly doing what they set out to do.

After watching this twice (once by myself & the second with my mom and dad who went with me to Haunted Homies season 1 at ISS for the podcast) the memories that flashed through my head were sad. Ginger was all over the check in process. Jerry all over merch table (btw my dad loved his energy). Both Kyle & Martti all over getting the cameras/sound/microphones/music/lighting ready. These were also the people who tore everything down before we started the investigation. Elton, you gave us the run down of the entire night. Told us what to pay attention to & best places to investigate. Once our tour with the workers was over, you told us where to put it stuff for home base. You provided snacks & water for us. Not to mention you gave us gifts of cats balls to use throughout the night, then keep. You gave us the run through of all the equipment. Went over opening the vail & how we should go about it. I don’t recall a single moment where Corey offered anything. He talked when splitting up & grouping, but I remember Evan talking more than him. The memory that sticks out the most was you turning to Corey and saying “Are you ready? Like fully” then asked Evan, then ended up asking us. I feel like that had way more behind it now, after hearing this. I may have gotten the best paranormal evidence with Corey & Evans group, but I loved the morgue with you Elton🫶

Elton, I work as a Security Officer here at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, Ca. I would love for you guys to find a way to gain access to the ranch from the Owner or CEO and do an investigation! I have heard many stories from my Supervisor who lives on the Ranch fulltime. I cannot disclose much on this comment but there were some weird things going on a few years ago before it was supposedly cleansed by some witches. I have been here for 7 months now and I still see things in the corner of my eye from time to time. Especially working the graveyard shift, my eyes have learned to adjust to my surroundings.

To be EXTREMELY clear, I watch this channel religiously only for elton. You could always see the amount of time, energy and effort he put in to constantly improve videos. I love his excited rambles when he finds a new tool and it works. That is someone who truly cares about the quality of content he's making and the people who watch it.
It also makes me sad when he has to apologise for videos being delayed because he's sick. At those times i wondered we'll if he's sick then surely someone else can take over editing just for that time. In hindsight that makes sense now.
I have been watching TFIL since 2018 and Overnight since it started. You could always see that elton always prioritised his friends well-being and them having fun.
When you set that goal for the charity livestream and ended up donating money on top of that i will admit, i was genuinely worried because i didn't want you to fvck yourself over. In the sense that its very easy to take advantage of people who give and give and give.

Honestly, half way through the video, I liked how I honestly didn't need evidence, as all the videos online on your channels are already the proof. I've seen other youtube channels with him in it and I've always felt something was off. Overnight channel caught my attention because of you Elton, mainly because I loved how you pushed boundaries and made it fun to watch.
Within the videos I noticed how he loved to just ride with shit act through it, and suddenly cut off the vibe whenever he wanted. Now anyone with sanity KNOWS that even though your videos can be extreme, non of it could take place WITHOUT so much money going in to it and of course without your friends knowing. It's just INSANE that he got to just ride with you for free, and not feel the tiniest gratitude for it. And I know you said you didn't mind your friends actually making money and becoming succesful. Doesn't that man live in a full ass mansion with his fam? Last time I've had seen a video of his house my mouth dropped to the floor. It seems like he just sucked both the energy and money out of you, that's it.
I met you in June of 2023. I came to Funny Bone in Syracuse NY for the haunted homies show. It was you, Matt & Cory. Before you started the show, i was sitting at the bar & I saw you run around talking to security & the people who were working the event. (I took videos shaking because I was so excited to see you) during the show, I sat right at the stage & got a little tipsy before the show because I was so nervous. I ended up telling you guys a story that in turn gave me the nick name “Supercuts” 🤣 at the end of the show, I was second in line to come see you guys. I told you that I bought the first merch you ever made but was sad because I actually left it in Canada during a trip. You were so kind & thanked me for supporting you for so long. Later on, when I posted photos to my instagram, you, on your own account took the time to like not just mine, but everyone else who posted that nights photos. I gained so much more respect for you that day because I saw with my own eyes how hard you worked to make the show fun for everyone. Also to add, I remember you saying out loud that you wanted to make sure you got the chance to meet everyone, not just the VIP’s & told the security that you might have to push back the start of the next show that night. Little later so you could meet everyone. It’s so obvious to me that this is something you do out of joy & love for everyone. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this time.
I believe Elton because friends can always make fun of you for anything and everything, but again, sometimes friends can set boundaries towards each other too. Corey's arguments were confusing and his insults towards Elton was inexcusable.

I don’t think any of us expected him to leave like that. I absolutely loved Corey, his humor brought so much to the channel. However, I did kind of notice that he started to be louder, more obnoxious in your videos. I kind of took that as he wanted more attention and it started to turn me away. I think you and everyone involved with this channel will continue to thrive no matter what. The passion and love you put into your videos definitely shows, especially now that everyone involved is truly there for us, not the money or fame.

I totally agree. I loved Corey his humor and his whole demeanor. But something has been off lately, like something’s changed and not for the better. Still wishing him the best in life, but sad he took a great opportunity and friendship and threw it all away.

Elton I can feel your heart pouring over this situation I really enjoyed watching you in the old TFIL days with Sam, Colby, and the other one but I can say I was always sketched out by that other one because he seemed so ingenious and I am excited to come back and revisit a better chapter of tfil, overnight, and whatever you have in store for all the viewers!!

@@jeanettecranstonexactly. I thought the same thing. lol Yes, someone you meet can be quite polite, kind, etc for a bit, especially if you’re just meeting them for the first time. But, true colors will ALWAYS show. It’s inevitable. Especially if you’re spending a lot of time with someone. Eventually, people let their guard down & who they really are begins to show.
The fact that he was making 1500 a day and was doing not even the bare minimum makes me so mad if I had the opportunity to make that much I’d be on deck ready to do whatever for the job I don’t even make that in a week smh

Imagine having someones dream job but u can’t grasp that ur beyond privileged because you’ve grown up ur whole life with everything handed to you. Crazy frl! An that he took his friends for granted and basically used them to get clout because once you left them u realized u wouldn’t be able to do it without one of them lmao it’s so sad that any of them had to go through this but it really shows what kind of person he is. I hope for the best for everyone that came/comes in contact with Corey because you’ve obviously all had to deal with a lot and sacrifice a lot just for him to be cooperative with anyone. I honestly wish I had a friend like Elton. He was literally paying his friend to hang out with him and do cool stuff. Corey had the best job in the world in my own opinion.

Point 1: Elton’s pays for all expenses. Such as : Equipment, Location, Travel ( planes, car rentals, food, hotels, gas, repairs for motor home and whatever else) including paying the production costs ( paying editors and whatever else that is needed bts )
As well as the merch costs ( paying the production of merch , costs of materials and contractual relationships which I’m sure he has a lawyer for all this too that looks things over for the channel so there’s that costs too)
Point 2: Maintenance of relationships for example collaborations. Elton was the person that had to reach to other RUclipsrs to have these collaborations. You have to have great communication to do this and if you don’t have good relationships in the community it makes it hard to put out videos that viewers are commenting and asking for. So if Corey id out here burning these bridges it hard for Elton to rebuild these bridges to allow these videos to happen.
Point three : Collaborations and employee pay. Elton pays people to be in these videos because they bring in views and audiences from their channel and he pays Corey’s to be in the videos along with again every one else that help make these videos amazing before he even considers money for himself because anything Elton gets goes right back into all the costs listed above. So if you think about it, Elton does make less than Corey because Corey pays none of the stuff that is listed above he is only gaining money never losing money because everything is paid for by Elton
Point four : Other than being there for the video and the comedic relief Corey contributes nothing. Not for the planning, not for the brainstorming and not for post recording production. If you are a part of the channel and a friend of the person that is doing all of this … you would think that he’d help out more. Like contributing to those main parts of having a channel and idk … maybe staying for the whole video ??
Now look I watched Corey’s video before coming here and I watch it again after watching Elton’s video. From what I got from Corey’s video is him just justifying things that honestly are tiny. For example the sickness part during the charity live stream. Corey felt like he needed to justify that and that’s fine but it doesn’t really add much because Elton himself gave reasons that could explain that because Elton stated that it’s normal for people who are sick to have these little burst of energy so Elton even tried to explain that away. Also Corey showed his stub of pay but tbh that doesn’t really do much either because Elton said how much he paid Corey and it just shows that Corey was making money from the videos.
Corey should of said you know what … me and Elton have known each other for x amount of years I need to call him up and ask to sit down and he should of sat down with Elton and said hey over the years this is how I felt and it’s all led to me feeling the way I feel now and this has caused me to come to the decision of ending the relationship of the overnight channel and Elton could have said hey from my point of view this is what I’m seeing and how I’m feeling about this because of all the hard work and money I put into this surely you can see why I’m saying what I’m saying in response to what you just said so how about we compromise( or not even a compromise but a find good way to end the partnership of overnight )because your decision affects me , the channel , the money.
So for every one coming from Corey’s videos on tik tok you should understand that some people are looking at things from a business point of view and a friend ship point of view and some people are going to look at this as a versus but to put it out there these men are people that we watch and support so you don’t have to give up one or the other if you don’t want to because that’s not what they are saying but just understand the background of what had happened and form your opinion and respect both people and their decisions.

honestly lukewarm take, Corey showing the paystubs showing how he gets paid less than a regular minimum wage annually than EDITORS who aren’t even the faces of the program. If you want to say it’s because of effort and how much Elton was putting in sure, but that’s because he RUNS the channel, corey even says at the very beginning he only joined overnight thinking it would be a duo channel and assumed he would be taken half the responsibility, but for elton to basically switch up and make it his own and then blame Corey for not making more ‘effort’ when he effectively prevents it makes no logical sense. even when corey wanted his own merch to make some more money he wasn’t able to, and honestly is crazy for any actor/influencer (i only say actor for the sake of clarity not saying the make anything up) to be paid 800-1000$ Per shoot, it shows just how much elton values him as a member to the show. and honestly seeing elton’s past history with his friends, i’ve lost all faith in him and honestly believe he likely manipulated corey into joining overnight under the guise of it being a duo channel.

Eltons vidoes have been such amazing works of art in my eyes and to hear how hes had to keep all of this bottled up for so long while also putting in such much work saddens me. This takes me way back to the Trap House days, I always thought it was a little weird that Corey had that huge Master Bedroom with the fireplace and private bathroom all for himself and occasionally Devyn, while everyone else had a regular bedroom and a shared bathroom. Guess that should’ve been a sign of what he thought of himself compared to everyone else. Pretty sure he pulled the same stunt in the Trap House 2.0 in Hawaii, taking the Master Bedroom with the big French doors while the other guys all had normal rooms. Prick.

This truly breaks my heart! As someone who has been watching TFIL since the Heath & Zane days and OVERNIGHT since the very beginning, it breaks my heart to see you go through this! As someone who lives in New Zealand, it has been such a privilege to see the love you have for our little country! Every video you post you can genuinely tell how much effort and money you put into them, so thank you for everything YOU have done! I literally traveled halfway across the world to go to Warped Tours' 25th Anniversary show not only because of the bands but primarily to meet you and buy merch from your stall, I was also lowkey hoping you would jump on stage with Simple Plan and sing your song. But, Corey is the real loser in this situation as he lost out on a true friend, that not many people get the privilege to experience. I for one will continue to support your channel and can't wait for every video drop to come! I doubt you'll even see this comment but I just want you to know your support is worldwide!
