- This video was filmed with the pure intention of giving viewers and supporters of OVERNIGHT, TFIL & Haunted Homies a long overdue explanation of his abrupt departure from the channel and all of the events leading up to him quitting. Everything stated in this video has numerous pieces of factual evidence to support it. Any details pertaining to other parties outside of these channels has been intentionally omitted; this is only meant to address the Elton-Corey relationship. To reiterate this again, do not harass, instigate, spread hate or anything else of that nature towards anyone what so ever - This is solely meant as an in depth breakdown and extremely open insight to everything that transpired.

This may be your first time seeing this news but I addressed in Part 5 of Su*c*de Forest series that he will no longer be in the videos & that the next video on the channel would address those reasons. It’s a sign that this happens before your wedding right before you’re about to step into a new chapter of your life. The brain came from Corey you need to watch some older videos. You will see that Cory taught Elton everything. He knows. Elton didn’t even believe in spirits. He didn’t know how to investigate it at all.

Exactly Corey literally ended Sam and colbys friendship with Elton cause he was lying to Elton about them saying they were abusing him and his mental health and making fun of it yet Corey was the one begging to go on the videos cause he cancelled a few times then halfway through the video he would always call Sam and Colby saying he wants to join the video now and blah blah then abuses then straight after.

Keeping my comment to this video only. I was so happy when Corey left Sam and Colby’s channel. He added nothing and took so much potential quality away from their videos. My friend introduced me to the Overnight Channel and when I found out Corey was a big part of it I told her no, I wasn’t watching it bc I couldn’t stand him on Sam and Colby’s channel. She talked me into it and though I do like a lot of the videos, the ones where Corey was main on the thumbnail I’d generally pass on. I’m so excited for your videos now! It sucks for it to happen that way, but he was removed from your life to free you and lift the dead weight off, not the other way around. Looking forward to everything to come! I’ll be watching ALL the videos now! ❤️

I remember coming across the TFIL channel back when the prank wars were going on in that huge house that had you, along with Sam, Colby, Jake, Aaron, and Corey. (Can't remember who else was there at that time. Need to go rewatch those videos.) I was at a horrible place in my life. I lost my husband to cancer, and needed to find SOMETHING that could get me to even think about laughing again. Those videos, and some others after that, like some of the trips that had you and Sam Colby and Corey in them, really cracked me up so much. It was refreshing seeing videos like that again. It was refreshing to just laugh again.
I had to rewatch this video because I fell asleep during the first time watching it (I work 3 jobs, so you'll have to forgive me for that.) I'm sitting here, just... Mind blown... I have no idea how anybody can GET TIRED of doing all of these amazing things!!! And not being paid? Or not being given enough money? Always going broke? My mind just screams "Selfish!" I can't tell you what I would do, to have an opportunity like this. To go on all sorts of trips, to see the world. To do awesome paranormal stuff. If I had to give up all 3 jobs for an opportunity like this, just say less. I'd call all places and say "Sorry, better opportunity came up!"
Not only would I enjoy doing something like this, but if I could bring my little sister with me to see the world, and participate in paranormal stuff, I feel like I'd be "sister of the year". I don't have any other family except for her and her kids.

I remember months ago I left a comment on one of sam and colbys videos that had corey in it. I had watched a lot at the time and noticed that corey is always trying to get out of filming or trying to quit early and sam was always the one trying to get him to keep going.
This is really sad that you had to go through this. I’m sorry Elton that he caused you so much pain in the end. It’s really hard to trust people even when they are supposed to be your closest friend. I’ve been a fan of this channel for almost a year now and I’ve watched a lot of the older videos and the ones from last year and noticed the change in his behavior and wanting to not do things or suddenly falling sick and couldn’t blame your reactions to it. You’ve handled everything very well considering what you’ve had to do to keep this channel and TFIL and haunted homies going as well as the merch and it’s very appreciated. Don’t stop being who you are and know you have support from your fans.
Elton, I work as a Security Officer here at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, Ca. I would love for you guys to find a way to gain access to the ranch from the Owner or CEO and do an investigation! I have heard many stories from my Supervisor who lives on the Ranch fulltime. I cannot disclose much on this comment but there were some weird things going on a few years ago before it was supposedly cleansed by some witches. I have been here for 7 months now and I still see things in the corner of my eye from time to time. Especially working the graveyard shift, my eyes have learned to adjust to my surroundings.

To add to your experience & message Elton we are so Proud of Everything you’ve ever Accomplished & can’t believe the time has flown by so quickly that you’re “Getting Married in 2wks to the most Beautiful Caring Compassionate & Faithful Loving Woman” she was so genuine & gentle to me when fitting my wheelchair for the show I mentioned earlier. @@Overnight well Elton, YOU grew this channel. I can remember in the early days when you would get something on your equipment and he would want to go and “guys we should leave. They don’t want us here” it was in one of the asylums I don’t remember which one you said no. We always leave when something happens. You’re not learning about what happened. You’re not pushing for answers and you literally made him & everyone stay to properly communicate to the spirit. You pushed for that change.
I love your channel because you actually push for answers. You joke and have a laugh but also your mind is focused and you absolutely nail giving viewers what we want.
I first found you through Sam and Colby back in the trap house and prank war era.
I love Sam & colby but I can’t stand their paranormal videos anymore.
Years on from them investigating there’s not really much change and the majority of the videos is history & then jokes / games and very little investigation. Something happens on equipment and they move on 9/10.
I love them guys and find them halarious but the quality for the videos just don’t hit the spot for me.
This channel is brilliant. You make it series to give us as much content and evidence as possible. You make jokes and give history but it’s just SO different.
Corey didn’t make the channel. You did.

Honestly i agree, the locations you go to people would line up just to go with you guys to experience stuff like that, personally ive never been on a ghost hunt, its on my bucket list, i imagine there are loads of people like me that for whatever reason hasnt been able to do things like that and it should never be taken for granted @Overnight

I'm so sorry, I had an odd feeling for a while with him i watched old videos and the atmosphere is completely different! I know how heartbreaking losing a friend is and i hope you don't lose any trust for anyone else
After watching this twice (once by myself & the second with my mom and dad who went with me to Haunted Homies season 1 at ISS for the podcast) the memories that flashed through my head were sad. Ginger was all over the check in process. Jerry all over merch table (btw my dad loved his energy). Both Kyle & Martti all over getting the cameras/sound/microphones/music/lighting ready. These were also the people who tore everything down before we started the investigation. Elton, you gave us the run down of the entire night. Told us what to pay attention to & best places to investigate. Once our tour with the workers was over, you told us where to put it stuff for home base. You provided snacks & water for us. Not to mention you gave us gifts of cats balls to use throughout the night, then keep. You gave us the run through of all the equipment. Went over opening the vail & how we should go about it. I don’t recall a single moment where Corey offered anything. He talked when splitting up & grouping, but I remember Evan talking more than him. The memory that sticks out the most was you turning to Corey and saying “Are you ready? Like fully” then asked Evan, then ended up asking us. I feel like that had way more behind it now, after hearing this. I may have gotten the best paranormal evidence with Corey & Evans group, but I loved the morgue with you Elton🫶

It did seem very strange that Corey quit filming with Sam and Colby because he didn’t want to be scared anymore and that he wanted to focus on his dance career. But then he went off and joined Elton’s channel to film haunted video instead.
After watching this video, it makes sense as to why Corey hasn’t mentioned Elton until now. I’ve been watching Corey’s TikTok live streams over the last month or so(not all of them because of the time zone difference since I live in England and Corey lives in LA), and whenever myself or another person has mentioned him and Elton filming for the overnight channel or when the next video for the overnight channel will be uploaded, he kind of avoided it and said what videos he and Devyn were planning on filming next.
Corey bailing on the charity events he agreed to do is absolutely crazy. I watched the entire charity stream live, that whole week, from when they woke up to when they went to sleep. Those people made huge donations for the chance to meet him, and no matter what was happening behind the scenes, I never imagined he would stand up fans who donated money like that. Really heartbroken about who I thought Corey was.
I really hated that. It was so evident how lazy he was despite him being there for support

i’ve only been watching for about a year and this still breaks my heart.
This is insane, I remember some of Overnight's first videos where y'all were having fun and I've noticed things in those videos where I noticed things that weren't pointed out in the videos for things that happened. Personally I've gone ghost-hunting before, and as a practitioner I understand that it can be draining but...I remember when he was saying that he wasn't feeling well in the charity event at the warrens, and I remember thinking "Is he going to dip out again even though it's a charity event?" That wasn't a fun thing at all to think about, but i had noticed that usually after he wasn't feeling well he would dip, and things would end. I'm sorry that your 7 year friendship is lost, but i'm glad that your energy seems much more clear now, especially at the end of the video your energy had a lot of anxiety and stress before, but now at the end of the video it's more clear and relaxed. To be EXTREMELY clear, I watch this channel religiously only for elton. You could always see the amount of time, energy and effort he put in to constantly improve videos. I love his excited rambles when he finds a new tool and it works. That is someone who truly cares about the quality of content he's making and the people who watch it.
It also makes me sad when he has to apologise for videos being delayed because he's sick. At those times i wondered we'll if he's sick then surely someone else can take over editing just for that time. In hindsight that makes sense now.
I have been watching TFIL since 2018 and Overnight since it started. You could always see that elton always prioritised his friends well-being and them having fun.
When you set that goal for the charity livestream and ended up donating money on top of that i will admit, i was genuinely worried because i didn't want you to fvck yourself over. In the sense that its very easy to take advantage of people who give and give and give.

I met you in June of 2023. I came to Funny Bone in Syracuse NY for the haunted homies show. It was you, Matt & Cory. Before you started the show, i was sitting at the bar & I saw you run around talking to security & the people who were working the event. (I took videos shaking because I was so excited to see you) during the show, I sat right at the stage & got a little tipsy before the show because I was so nervous. I ended up telling you guys a story that in turn gave me the nick name “Supercuts” 🤣 at the end of the show, I was second in line to come see you guys. I told you that I bought the first merch you ever made but was sad because I actually left it in Canada during a trip. You were so kind & thanked me for supporting you for so long. Later on, when I posted photos to my instagram, you, on your own account took the time to like not just mine, but everyone else who posted that nights photos. I gained so much more respect for you that day because I saw with my own eyes how hard you worked to make the show fun for everyone. Also to add, I remember you saying out loud that you wanted to make sure you got the chance to meet everyone, not just the VIP’s & told the security that you might have to push back the start of the next show that night. Little later so you could meet everyone. It’s so obvious to me that this is something you do out of joy & love for everyone. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this time.
I believe Elton because friends can always make fun of you for anything and everything, but again, sometimes friends can set boundaries towards each other too. Corey's arguments were confusing and his insults towards Elton was inexcusable.

I noticed Elton's behavior towards Corey slowly shift through the videos. Subtle looks, reactions, etc. In the video's without Corey, I've seen a huge shift. Better focus on the paranormal stuff, better communtication between the crew, everything flows better. This is just a bump in the road to better things. I don’t think I have ever gained more respect for someone so fast. I always thought he was a little harsh and a little crazy but I could always see the softer side to him and the caring side. While watching this video I just realized how much of an absolute incredible human he is and know he did what he did out of confusion and passion and frustration. The issue with people like Corey is that when they claim abuse and shit like that they will stick to their guns because their ego is too big to apologize/admit they were wrong. He KNOWS he's wrong, but to say it out loud and cement it means with absolute certainty that he won't be "successful" elsewhere. This is completely out of jealousy and greed, he's money hungry and has outed himself subconsciously.
I wondered where Corbin went and now the dots may be connecting. Especially with him coming back to Suicide Forest after Corey was gone. I was always an Elton fan anyways

I knew once he left Sam & Colby that something was off with him. Just a gut feeling. This doesn’t shock me at all but genuinely upsets me for the entire crew, us as viewers and especially you to lose who you thought was your very best friend. I don’t think any of us expected him to leave like that. I absolutely loved Corey, his humor brought so much to the channel. However, I did kind of notice that he started to be louder, more obnoxious in your videos. I kind of took that as he wanted more attention and it started to turn me away. I think you and everyone involved with this channel will continue to thrive no matter what. The passion and love you put into your videos definitely shows, especially now that everyone involved is truly there for us, not the money or fame.

I totally agree. I loved Corey his humor and his whole demeanor. But something has been off lately, like something’s changed and not for the better. Still wishing him the best in life, but sad he took a great opportunity and friendship and threw it all away.
