The purpose of the assembly lube on bolts that are torqued is so that you get a correct reading. If you do it dry the underside of the head will bind on the mating face and give you a false reading

Lol gonna have to shim that starter and I’m pretty sure that’s a gear reduction starter you got the right gear on the bendix of the starter or more over will that starter work with the flywheel and how much will you have to shim it rarely do you get away with out shimming the starter with those starter and Chevy gm truck v8 or car engines
Oh my god that’s my biggest pet peeve I see RUclipsrs do when installing a trans. Auto or manual, don’t use the bolts to push the trans on. You’re going to ruin the splines or the clutch or torque converter. They should always slide together easily. That being said it always helps if you can spin the trans or crankshaft to help the splines mesh together. Be smart and don’t ruin your parts
