It's always so awkward when an NPC is trying to make a public speech but you're the only one there so they just stare at you.
Especially when they say "Don't laugh sir/ma'am!" Or something like "Come Sir! Come Madam!" And no one besides Arthur/John is around him

I had to replay that about 10 times. It's just too perfect, the bow-legged floating, the ascension, the "hyup" immediately followed by the terrified scream. I can't, I need to lie down until I can breathe again. 🤣🤣

I don't think he refers to dinosaurs as dinosaurs I think when he talks about dinosaurs he talks about Native Americans since they were the first inhabitants of the us, you'll understand why just read again the passage. would be much more logical to me
@@wintersn899Well this was in the 1800s and biblical stories were very intertwined with science, I took it as him still using the young Earth theory which also suggested that dinosaurs lived alongside humans. Then again for a long time “Dinosaur” was a term sometimes used to refer to any prehistoric animal so he could also be talking about the countless animals killed by humans during the holocene.
It's sorta scary how accurate this is. It's not really the type of thing you expect from a western video game

It’s not a new thing to realise that industrialisation without a second thought nor concerns for anything or anyone is not a good thing. The science on climate change has been around since the industrial revolution itself, but at the time it seemed like the coal and the oil would never run out and production would always increase, so why listen to quacks, right?
Climate change science had been identified and studied as early as the beginning of the 19th century so it was around pre IR in fact.

That didn't really pan out, of course.
Nowadays some pols tell us there's "clean" coal and that fracking for natural gas is part of the answer for our troubles.

Alexander Von Humboldt wrote some of the earliest books about the interconnectedness of nature and man's impact on ecosystems (before ecosystem was a term). He was world famous, met with Thomas Jefferson while he was president, and he's the "Humboldt" that all the counties, cities, and other things are named after.
I highly recommend the book "The Invention of Nature" to anybody interested in learning more about him.

Yeah, and for a long time many people believed that humans had always existed on Earth (Creationism) and so co-existed with dinosaurs way back when.

this is kind of unrelated, but I was in the alien cultist house yesturday and noticed something, I'm sure we all noticed the blood around the torso of the skeletons and probably thought poison or something. Uhh, all their torsos are exploded open. like, I noticed because I thought one was wearing a bone tie or some nonsense, but like, all their torsos are open like the aliens from said movie burst out of their chest.
What I like about Fizhy is that not only does he actually get to the point but he's not a pretentious robot like so many others who make similar content. As far as RDR2 content creators go my favorite is an easy call.
