When you beat someone to death unnecessarily you are the asshole. He didn't deserve to die like that. Even the cop who found him said that and they knew Jaco.
Jaco cant be killed, his music will live forever, from musician to musician, to song to song, jaco is in all the music you hear. the musicians who know jaco will carry his influence into the future, his shockwave will never stop rippling.
Yes I damn agree !! The whole album is special ! I met him in Paris. He did a real bad show that night... he was fucked up, but hey to me he is still the best bass player in the world !
Fantastic group indeed! Layout for this piece: Bass: Jaco Pastorius Drums: Steve Gadd Piano & Fender Rhodes: Michel Colombier Guitar solo: Larry Carlton Percussion: Airto Moreira Guests Guitar: Lee Ritenour Synthesizer programmation: Michael Boddicker Mini-Moog solo: Herbie Hancock Check the names. These guys were good!
@@luisbici9924 Entry corrected. Thanks! I should have checked twice the source (discogs iirc). Fun fact : Airto Moreira was married with Flora Purim, who had done a record, "Everyday Everynight" with, at the bass... Jaco Pastorius!
Checking in IMDb, I did find a couple of porn movies and the most approaching could be "Candi Girl", even though this track doesn't figure in the movie. Perhaps you confound this track with the (fabulous) track "Magic Fly" by Space, which figures in the movie and has a similar feeling. Check this out: ruclips.net/video/P_ukfGAd8T4/видео.html (And yes, they prefigure Moog CookBook...)
When this guys got together there was nothing like it! Can't believe a true nobody killed Jaco! No one is like him Eccentric GENIUS! Love you forever!
Jaco was a genius but according to many, he did have his flaws. Being an asshole got him killed.
à son époque, la bipolarité était mal connue ; voir ignorée ... mais c'est aussi vrai qu'il refusait le traitement au lithium

@@wuwliwonka You're worse than Jaco ever was, and you deserve worse than he ever got.

Like Clouseau hihi
Former Chief Inspector Clouseau mea culpa.
My nominee for the world's most dangerous bass line.
Check out Sungazer's "Sequence Start" with Adam Neely at the bass. Truly amazing.
Michael League would like a word with you. He's also very bass. Very deep grooves.
