Such techniques, power, passion! They are oozing with passion for each other. I cannot get enough of watching these two together. I am learning so much from Maks and Mel B. about their tangos. More importantly, the viewer can see the love/hate in their relationship. It is so dynamic, so hot. The footwork alone is just beautiful. She really transformed herself into such a wonderful dancer. I hope she continues to dance. They were mesmerizing to watch. Thank you for the postring. WoW!

Mel B was definately robbed of her title. She can dance her ass off. People made the wrong mistake when they voted of sumthin. I Love Mel B, that my girl!!!!!
What I loved about them is the equal measure of passion and humor. Great pairing this time.

Mel b to me was his best partner on the show. I hope they bring her back on the show if they ever do a all stars season.

one of the best dances of all time, of all seasons, on this show. I think the costumes helped, especially Mel B's.

the very first date of the spice girls reunion tour was literally days after she was robbed of her title. it was in vancouver, and i was lucky enough to be there - and during her solo act, she brought out the whip. i was ecstatic!

I had to rewatch Mel and Max's paso after seeing Mya's last night and Len said M&M's was his favorite.
m&m were definetly my favourites and not only because i love the spice girls!

It's really cool that you spliced these together because MM's Paso Doble (Week 7 version) and Tango are my favorite dances that they did. I watch them all the time :)
I agree. Gilles was totaly robbed. I ike Shawn, I thought she was good nd extremely cute, but her skill was so not better than his.
As for Mel B? She was pure wesome. I LOVED her Paso; that woman oozes sexy dominatrix and played that part and coustume perfectly. And Maks looks good no matter what he's doing or is wearing. I'd have fun watching him water the lawn ... even better if it's shirtless. :)
@cougar11c I totally agree with you. Julianne was a firecracker on the dance floor - very nice to watch because she was so good. She made Helio look better than he was, I believe.I was very surprised that he won that season.

Mel and Max made a perfect couple, and Mel B. was the best dancer. She is still the best dancer! I can't believe they didn't win! But the show really doesn't seem to be all about dancing, does it?
yeah, i dont get why votes would be 50% of the reason why you win. it should be 10% at MOST. if it were only 10% mel would’ve gotten the win she deserved

Mel B was not a professional dancer anymore than J.R. Martinez. They both just have great rhythm and timing and can pick up steps fairly quickly. what the Spice Girls did onstage could hardly be called dancing. Of course, she was robbed but this show has rarely been known for choosing the best dancer to win. Just ask Mario Lopez. This paso remains one of the best ever on this show.

That Maks dude is really good. He did well with Hope last year and almost won again with Kristie Allie.
They should have won this season! The guy who won, he wasn't any good at all. He was blocky and stiff. He had to make up with the extra flamboyancy. Maks should have a couple of trophies by now.
Did they make it to the finals? If not, at the very least they should've been
+Abundantlyblessed They made it to the finals, but they came in second. They lost to Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough.
To this day, I think Helio only won because of Julianne, who was arguably the most popular pro on the show at the time. Mel B. was hands down the better dancer.

Every time someone says that Maks never had a good partner before Meryl, I think of Mel (and Erin and Laila, to be fair). The two of them were spectacular (and certainly deserved to win) but in a different way from Meryl and Maks. But what I am missing here is the original videos that had the rehearsal footage. It think it was for the tango that Stefan came in to "motivate" Mel by making her angry. The first words out of his mouth were, "Okay, you're fat," and Maks howled with laughter.
Max in anything, he could just stand there and do his thing alone :-)

@curlyfry44 Definitely Mel B and Maya deserved to win but they weren't paired with Derek or Mark Ballas, so of course they had no chance of getting the trophy.

This season was very upsetting. I stoped watching it after Jennie Garth and Derek Hough got eliminated. I was done. Turned off the television and everything.

Diamond Tygress don't get me wrong,she's great;but,she also has spots where she is a bit tight, and mechanical, in her motion.
she would've looked more graceful from the chest up of she takes off the implants.
