  • Whirlpool and bubbling as I clear the blockage and get this water flowing again in our woodland. We built the culvert in 2007, to take a seasonal stream under the track rather than over it - it used to be a muddy bog most of the year.

Post 10 is making me seek out more soothing and relaxing unclogging of culvert videos; anyone else?

Having to take care of beaver damns in the past, I find this video extremely satisfying.

considering the yearly leaf fall issue in that wooded area, an open ditch with a bridge over it maybe an easier maintenance.

I just boaught a place in oklahoma in march 2018. It has a creek that runs through the property a few ft from the house. At the far end of the property the water backed up halfway across the property during a storm on the opasite end from the house from a 3 day storm. Finly the storm stopped and when the water went down, i pulled a 13 inch car tire out of one pipe and a 2x3 ft piece of metal out of the other and a bunch of branches wich the city should have done a long time ago. No problems after i did the cities job for them sofar.

Heh, sufficiently interesting to see someone do something ordinary. I'll probably go and watch the other vid as well, before tea.

This guy's serious about keeping that culvert clear - brings tools and a sewer camera with a usb drive input!
