This is an excellent device, but as I already written somewhere, it's main disadvantage is its professional special equipment-like look. You may have problems at customs,etc if you carry this while travelling.

Guess it depends on what you regards as being professional. I have a degree, work in a legal department of a locally authority and produce legal documents on a daily basis. I regard this as being a profession but do not need a tough book laptop to work. The only people I have seen use this type of laptop are the gas engineers who services my boiler every year. It would be great for people working in construction, but for 90% of professionals a normal laptop will suffice.

Have the fist gen CF-33 mk1 great when it works but quality isn't what you would expect for this price. Screen failed on it and was replaced under warranty took 9 weeks to receive the replacement not even a year later 10 month to be exact screen failed again hope the turnaround is a little better this time as I use this daily for work. Hope the updates on the refresh model are better.

The "longevity" is only valid if I can upgrade the cpu to 11th gen i7, and I'm assuming that the GPU sucks. This laptop would've been perfect :(
