I don't know why, but I really love the kitchen knife action. Every time you cut strips of foam I expect you to go on to cube them and simmer them over low heat... Lol
just found your channel and I'm loving it, I watched almost all your videos in one night and you gave me the motivation to start a project I had in my mind for ages: a warhammer table with a vampire castle and a forbidden forest/swamp. If you have any piece of advice, I'll take them gladly! In exchange, I have a tip for your: rather than just painting white dots for rivets, you can easyly make them with glue: just put small dots of dense glue with the tip of a toothstick and let them dry ;)
Best advice is to check black mgic crafts foam video. Otherwise ypu can find botg xps- and eps-foams on amazon. But I think the foam that is sold as "diy project material" is overpriced. Try looking for hardware/building stores that sell insulation materials
for a less fantasy stile head for the ram just wrap a strip of card stock around the long stick thing (i have no idea what it is called) and some small circles to act as rivets than paint it metallic
I really liked the PVA glue texture you used on the dragon head( was it a dragon? Oh well gotta rewatch all you videos 😋) maybe that would have helped with the texture of the wolf head?
In the United States, there are two big sources for foam, and it depends on the thickness and sturdiness you need. The thin stuff is called posterboard/foamboard/foamcore, and you buy it at dollar stores. The thick, pink stuff is common insulation foam (Foamular,) and can be found at the hardware store. Most dollar stores carry a brand of posterboard/foamboard/foamcore that is made with weak glue so that the paper can be removed from the foam by hand. Ask a clerk, or just try to peel the corner on a sheet. If the paper peels right off, buy some. If it resists, walk away whistling. Nobody will ever suspect a thing. Craft stores sell a lot of expensive foamcore, but peeling the paper from that stuff involves either chemicals or steam, and is a huge pain in the behind. You can buy sheets of the pink XPS foam at most hardware stores. It generally comes in 4' X 8' sheets, and in a variety of thicknesses (1/2", 1", 2", 3"). Most crafters buy either 1/2" thick or 1" thick for general purpose crafting.Bring a ruler and a utility knife, and you can break the 4' X 8' sheets down to fit your vehicle. A 4' X 8' sheet of 1/2" foam costs $14 locally, and will last you a VERY long time unless you start crafting entire wargaming boards.
Is there any particular reason all you crafting video guys waste so much glue and paint by making puddles, rather than using their regular containers? Is it for the camera angle?
I really appreciate the humor you inject into your videos. Keep up the great work!
Wow I'm funny, never expected to be :)

The method of cutting the wheels is inspired. Thanks. Don't know why I didn't think of it myself! LOL
This is one of my favorite builds
This channel inspires me! You don’t need $$$ tools to make terrain.
love the wheel trick with the cap. great idea for quick&easy round shapes.
Me: I'm the dumbest person alive!
The one guy who disliked the video:*exists*
Me, bowing: you're truly dumber
When in doubt wash it out! Ur creations are amazing and inspiring, might make my own minis in the future
Your videos have a "How it's made" like quality that I groove on. Cheers.
Must be doing something right! Thanks

Thanks, won't come up with anything more than skulls. Get a bag of those small skulls and place them below stones, walls etc.
AMAZING!!! Going to use this for my history homework. Fingers crossed it goes well. 🤣🤣
Oh and could you tell me where to get the foam????

Grond!!!!

Why you never pierce the foam with a stick ?
You break the stick into pieces and glue them
It's so weird seeing XPS getting cut with a knife that isn't a utility knife.
Where do you get your fome?
stupid intros my ass, love them
