This is a one hour music video with perfect "cuts" for the fans of this track that they first heard while completing the Easter egg of A Pirate's Life of Sea of Thieves.
While entering the Easter egg location in Sea of Thieves called A Pirate's Life: Two pirate worlds collide you can hear this music from the Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean.

I found this easter egg with a friend of mine. I heard the first 5 seconds of the song and said "THAT'S THE HEADLESS MONKEY!!!" My friend thought I was babbling nonsense. We got closer, and the boat said "Headless Monkey" on it.
My friend asked, "Have you done this before?"
I said, "No and yes."
I guess you can continue the bit now.

When I first found this Easter egg, I was curious about why this one shipwreck in particular had some nice music.
That's how I discovered Monkey Island.
Planning on buying the games eventually.

the fisrt two episodes are the real Monkey Islands and also the best ones.
the Third episode is extremely good but not developed by the original creator.
Than other episodes have been developed but quality is not that high.
In 18 days time finally, after more than 20 years, the original creator Ron Gilbert will launch the last episode Return to Monkey Island musics by Michael Land, the original creator of the theme you here in this video.
Advice from a millennial who was playing Monkey Island in 1994. Do it, if you like tropical and Disney World vibes...

This is the second best rendition of the Monkey Island theme song I've ever heard.
This aged well with the new update coming
When i first found the monkey's head shipwreck, i just saw it as a cool story tid bit.
But then, very recently, i learned about the monkey island franchise, and found it pretty neat.
Then about 2 weeks ago i replayed the tall tale, went back to the shipwreck, heard the music, and my mind just clicked. I cant wait to see what happens to Guybrush, considering his current location

I said it before and i’ll say it again, there needs to be a proper Monkey Island Tall Tale. The easter egg sets it after the second game, around when the new “third” game takes place. LeChuck’s design would work quite well with the Skeleton Lord style and Threepwood could either be in his human form, ghostly form, or possessing his own body voodoo form. Even the Cursed Captain (Talking Skull) could be repurposed for Murray, the Demonic Talking Skull. Even maybe a collector’s parrot modeled after that golden voodoo bird that repeats the whole “It is I, Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate” bit.
I 100% agree and tbh after this Easter egg I thought we would have a monkey island tall tale but I was probably wrong :P

My friend who grew up with the series, another friend and I played the first chapter of the Tall Tale today. He said it was like playing a Monkey Island game, wonder what you think?
The first game I ever played on my new Xbox 2 years ago was sea of thieves, and I harbour a deep love for this game

so they annonced it long ago, i mean make sens considered that the sea of the damned is timeless, to heard something from the future and vice verca, damn we really need to pay attention on the next easter egg they gonna put in the monkey island tall tale, it can be an indicative of future event or tall tales.
This music really helps me to chill and get on with my day thank you.

No, the music is the monkey island theme that played while entering the Easter egg location of the pirate's life adventure in Sea of Thieves
Hate the graphics in the new game that is about to launch.
I agree, it looks like they tried to keep original feeling but made it modern/cheap...
You get used to it after a couple of minutes. The music and riddles are the heart of that game and it's worth the time, if you are a fan of the older ones.
@@TheSchlex No I played for an hour and hated every second of it. This game is garbage. Its made for 2 year olds.
@@justreallybored6014 According to Steam I took 16 and a half hours first time though, on the harder difficulty and absolutely refusing to use the hint system. The pacing is certainly different. It took quite a while before I started encountering puzzles on which I could actually get stuck, and there's nothing ever quite as bad as the dance steps or the skeleton dance in MI2.
But 16 and a half hours suggests 2 year olds might struggle. YMMV.
