    Easily the most sophisticated lever operated lever machine out there. The possibilty to program pressure profile presets is just above and beyond for a lever machine.

      It's something special.
      Sophisticated yet super simple to use.
      Have a soft spot for the Leva X, this machine makes me smile every shot.

    Appreciate the reviews and the given screen time to this wonderful machine. Good job! It would be great if you play around with different roasts and pre-infusions times and give some details on the results! Keep the great work and thanks!

      Great suggestion!
      We will be filming Leva X vs GS3MP as has been asked a fair bit and might go deeper into coffee than I usually do on that video. Been trying to keep videos fairly simple not to dive in go super geeky and scare people lol.

    Thanks for showcasing this beautiful machine. This is one of the few home machines that tops the looks of the Linea Mini IMO.

    would appreciate if you could elaborate more detail of how the machine works in repeatability and filling of water in reservoir and adjusting the dose of each notch of the lever.

    Question for Erik - I love this machine! Still learning it, it amazes each time. Not too long into having it and my steam wand is not responding. 1. Any recommendations or videos/materials you can point me to for addtl support?
    2. Is the hot water wand a fixed temp? 3. What is the recommended temp for hot water and steam wand?
    Sorry, unfortunately not a lot of content out there on the Leva, so thought I’d ask here.

      Hi Espinoza! Thanks for your questions! For your non responding steam wand, I would contact your local espresso machine technician to assist! The hot water tap is not a fixed temp, there is a small spin wheel directly below the tap that operates the mixing valve, allowing you to adjust temperature manually. This will not affect the temperature/pressure of your steam wand. Steam wand temp generally sits between 123-128 degrees celsius. Your hot water tap can be adjusted as you desire fit for purpose, I personally prefer to have it at 85-90 degrees Celsius for long blacks. Hope this helps!!

    Oh wow always wanted a lever machine and this one looks amazing! But holy cow 15k for an espresso machine? Insane price like other models too. Think I will stick with my Rocket espresso machine.

      Rockets are cool too, big fan of their build and design :)
      The Leva X are up there in price, I do like them, yet knows it's big dollars for coffee at home!

    How does the portafilter get de-pressurised after a shot so you don't get spat at when removing the portafilter?

    • @CoffeePartsTV
      @CoffeePartsTV  Год назад

      It doesn't, you have to watch the screen and see pressure in the group head back to 0 before unlocking.
      I learn the hard way many many years ago on a Cremina and ever since I'm very conscious to remove portafilter slowly on levers and somewhat feel the pressure. Super messy if you get it wrong lol

      What type of grinder would you pair with the Leva X 1? I am considering getting one soon. I am looking the following grinders: Mahlkonig E65S GbW / E80 GbW and the Mazzer Super Jolly V Pro or Mazzer Major? Any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!@@CoffeePartsTV

    What is the retail price of this beauty?

    • @audriusa7005
      @audriusa7005 2 года назад +2

      15k USD and I thought GS3 was expensive

    • @CoffeePartsTV
      @CoffeePartsTV  2 года назад +3

      In Australia 17k AUD (equals about 12k usd)
      They are made to order, so lead times tend to be 3-6 month from order.

      Totally different machines, love the Lexa X, know it's not for everyone.
      San Marco make great levers at a fair price points, and I have owned a few over the years.
      SM raw yet pulls beautiful shots, Leva X is more refined and stable, totally different user experience.
      Both cool tho.
