What'd to share this footage with Elvis fans !! He changed my life at 22yrs old ! He is the reason I went on to tour & work with so many Rock Bands & Artists in my now 45 yrs in the music Industry ! I'll share more everyone but had eye surgery Monday so I'm kicking back to heal ok ! Then get the other one done first of Dec.

The way ELVIS conducted himself in the MSG interview - he was so polite and expressed himself "WITH APLOMB"
At 3.54 with the huge tie - he even makes jokes out of this. Who would have the confidence to wear this tie -ONLY ELVIS
He was so APPRECIATIVE of the Gold Award Album. He knew it was the Fans that made it possible for him to receive it
At 12.26 the press conference he gave just before Aloha from Hawaii - the part for me where he says: "Im going to do my best and all of the people that work WITH ME to do a good show which is PURE ENTERTAINMENT -NO MESSAGE AND NO THIS AND THAT

I've always will be a Elvis fan, he's no. 1. I saw him live in Atlanta in ethier 1971/72 which changed my life forever. I was only 9 at the time, when he died oi was in shocked that he was really gone. It still hurts me today but he is the greatest entertainer and male singer of all time. But I pray he rest in piece something we all want.
Wish he were here for us today but it was meant to be the way it was. Their will never be another like him! Thank you Heavenly Father.

He's got a awesome sense of humor and I love the sound of his laughter! I love looking into his eyes!!!! Those eye are so mesmerizing 😍😍😍😍😍 I could stare at him deep into his eyes and drift off into heaven!!!!! Gosh I have loved him since I was old enough to know what music was and I remember the exact day time and place where I was when I heard that he had passed. My cousin called me and told me she heard that he had died, I called our local little radio station and asked if it was true the DJ there told me that it was not true and that it had not come across on their press....... I was sitting on the steps leading up to my house listening to that local radio station and the DJ came on and he said
"To the young lady that just called inquiring of the passing of Elvis Presley I am so sad to say that yes young lady it just came across the wire that Elvis Presley has passed away at the age of 42" I live in Texas so it is very hot here in August I sat there that day August 16th 1977 heartbroken with tears streaming down my face 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Elvis Presley was very well loved but you can tell in his interviews that he is a very shy, nervous man but he’s awesome and he’s the best well one of the best😊

I remember watching aloha from Hawaii as a 6 year old child, but I was a fan years before that. The colonel knew how to market Elvis ( especially in the 50’s) BUT, he made mistakes as well. If you don’t have a great product, it won’t sell, no matter how you market it. Elvis’ natural talent made the colonel’s job easy when it came to marketing. Till this day the greatest selling solo recording artist in history. Long Live the King⚡️⚡️⚡️

@@JohnGripShadowofaking Elvis was making a name for himself regionally when Colonel swooped in and nabbed him. Colonel knew he hit the jackpot. I will credit Parker for doing a good job in the 50's getting Elvis opportunities. After the army though, he put Elvis on cruise and never tried to give Elvis any chances at doing movies he so wanted to do. Colonel could have negotiated Elvis' box-office power into getting Elvis a good script every so.often. let's say that he worked out a routine where every 3rd or 4th film was a challenging role for Elvis and not the typical cookie cutter movie he got him doing in the 60's. Musically it may have been worse with colonel demanding half of any song Elvis recorded. Cost Elvis a chance at many songs, such as, I will always love you, which Dolly wouldn't give up half the song. Then how much money Colonel was making from Elvis was so out of norm and wrong that I don't even want to go into more detail because of how ugly and disrespectful it was to Elvis.
And then the most unforgiving thing .. took advantage when he fell n banged his head , and got 50% .

Pat you are a complete idiot. Parker was a pioneer in the art of MARKETING AND PROMOTION! He LAUNCHED Elvis career in the 1950s. His strategy is legendary . He wrote the book on managing rhe first rock star. Elvis was an uneducated naive kid. Parkers marketing alone made Elvis millions . And no stupud their agreement was 20% manager fee intil 1974. Had Elvis fired The Colonel shortly after the Army and hired a talented manager with relevant experience (managing MUSIC talents) with Elvis’s best interests as an artist at heart, he could’ve attained GREATER heights in music, IMO.

And on that wonder of you single like some of the others the 45 RPM record sleeve had an old picture of him on it. Why couldn’t RCA get a picture of him at that point where he looked really modern and he was so famous all over again and he had that new look?
All the money he made for RCA they never promoted him like they should've they cheaper out on him! The same way Hal Wallis and the movie studios did to him. He was the biggest grossing star at the time but they kept cutting the budget and dumb scripts and shorter time schedules. Just so they could rush it out grab the money and put that money into better pictures with other stars! Nobody appreciated Elvis for the talent he was. The ones that did, we're kept away by Tom Parker!

The day he ws playing at in New York he looked so serious for some reason. That blu suit looked too big on him. He had such a cute little figure it should be showing.
He was as loose as any interview he'd ever done when he was in NY. The suit fit him perfectly. Head started gaining weight in June of 72.
