I make these medals I'm proud to say alongside a great team. We put a lot of ourselves into these medals as they deserve nothing but the very best. We have the best team anywhere in the UK working in these and I hope I get to make many many more for our serving and ex serving brave souls. It truly is an absolute honour.
Congratulations you deserve it well done and God Bless, Hope the Government will now look at The National Defence Medal for Veterans and Serving Members of our Armed Forces. Ubique.
Standard procedure I think for issuing medals. Theres took much organisation and recipients for something like a service medal. Only medals for bravery are presented by someone.
@@hmsbelfast2019 Hmm, admittedly I'm not in the UK. But here in Aust a person has presented all of my gongs and respective clasps, be they decorations, campaign medals, long service medals, etc. I hope its not the UK Govt's intent, but getting a gong in the mail seems to discount its value. Even if people in the various areas were asked to come to a function and the local 1 star presented it, it would better than just being dropped through the door. Here at least its drilled into us that "people are our most important asset".
I think it must just be our way of doing things. Since WW1 the majority of medals arrived by post in a box marked with the persons name. This includes things like the WW1 death plagues as well, so I think it must just be the difference in how the medals are viewed.
I totally agree, my friends father was at those tests and psssed away before anyone was awarded a medal, his son and daughters should have the right to wear that medal on their left breast at the cenotaph on remenberence day, but just as he was denied they are too!
Probably too little too late, but good for the UK veterans nonetheless. What kind of cross/crucifix @ 2:08 with handcuffs supposed to be ? A U.S. veteran
well done for recognising this, they also done tests , like vx on some servicemen, mustard gas on certain tribes... the US and other allies to.... you can't make an excuse for it you can only reason these were desperate and harsher times times

At the going down of the Sun and in the morning we will remember them.
It's high time for all military & civilian personnel who were part of the tests on the atomic, hydrogen, & nuclear bombs.
😢🙏🏻 respect 🫡 to all of those brave men and women
My mates dad should've received one..but he died riddled with cancer
At last we are being recognised

Nuclear submariners still have no medal despite having the hardest peacetime job in the armed forces by a mile
How about one for the Guinea pigs off porton Down
Why is it coming the post?! Surely they could be presented?

Recognition Delayed is Recognition Denied for all those who have gone to their graves without Recogntion!!!
