    @Bomberpiper The opening tune is the 3/4 march Kilworth Hills by George S McLennan. Pipe Major McLennan lived from 1884 to 1929 and, as a player and composer, can be regarded as one of the greats of the piping world.

    They are wearing the No1 dress commonly known within the regiment as "Blues"

    I'd sooner listen to good Army band over a top civvy band anyday...the pitch is just right for my taste...birls strong and crisp...well done lads..

    These are not Ghillies brogues but buckled brogues, British Army Issue. There is a Pakistani version on e bay but NOT the same quality

    I mentioned the rolled up sleeves on another clip from the same event. Not just letting the band down but the Regiment also. Does not look good in a civy band either no matter how well they play.

      RidseardMhicCoinnich rab did that because he was the lead tip, and it’s hard to play with sleeves like that
