So glad the George Lucas and the team at ILM convinced him to let them make a 3D animation test to show him. Fun Fact: The particular scene you showed for Jurassic Park, was filmed at Kualoah Ranch in Oahu, Hawaii. The same family has owned that part of the island since the 1800's. They only filmed about 5 min of the movie there, but the iconic scenery is what makes it famous. They have also filmed 50 First Dates, Kong and many other films on the property. As well as the same family owning the property, they have turned down hundreds of millions of dollars in offers so that they can keep that part of the island untouched. I highly recommend going there if you visit Oahu, HI. So much beauty and history there.

I saw it in theaters when I was like 10 and was wide awake the entire time. It’s one of those movies that I will watch whenever it’s on. It also got me in love with Leo. The movie Seven is so good but I have to mentally prepare myself and be in a very particular mood to actually sit down and watch that movie. Cuz it is horrific and hit wrenching at the same time. Literally makes my skin crawl but it was done SO WELL!
I went into labor with my first baby while watching Forest Gump took me a year to finish watching it. While in the hospital my husband at the time went and bought me a Forest Gump box of chocolates and then when the anniversary dvd came out we bought it for our son that was born while watching it. It's been a while since I read it, but I believe he tells him about the place he proposed. However, he doesn't elaborate or tell Red to go there.
