I don't like "hype". This video is full of hype. BUT, this gentleman lays it out fast and directly. Going to check out more of his stuff. He knows the facts, he knows his stuff, and I love his insight into the whole deal. The Let It Bleed edition of Tim could have been a disaster. It is my fave Replacements LP. Instead of disaster, this brought new life to a great LP. I won't throw away my old mix... but I doubt I'll listen to it much. The Stasium mix is so superior that I cannot believe it. It is the Tim LP I always dreamed of. Thanks for this!!!
Mats fans thank you and I thank you. Thanks. BTW, the "Let it Bleed", Tim edition is fantastic. So crisp and very fresh sounding compared to that 1985 version.
I can now hear more of Bob's criminally truncated guitar playing on the new mix. I also had that cover photograph on my wall in 1986. it was a little different but Paul was sprawled out on the drum set. All killer, no filler. Most improved - the 2 worst sounding songs on the original: Does of Thunder and Lay it Dow Clown. Wondering why they called this Let It Bleed? Listen those 2 songs. Rhino, you were already in my heart for other remasters but now I have a tattoo of you on my kidney.
Yeah, the worst songs were most improved or the ones "we lose the least were the ones that we most to please and visit their graves at holidays at best) Let it Bleed (Stones) is a play on Let it Be (Beatles) to show that they were aiming to be as good.
Right on My Brother... It's almost as if the Professor of Rock is your Mentor,, Only suggestion i have is play ai least a little of 1-2 songs... Stick with what you're doing I truly believe you're gonna make it BIG!!!
If only Ed Stasium would have done the original mix rather than Tommy Ramone... Maybe the Mats could shoulda woulda been huge. Give the job to Ed to remix Let It Be, although rumor has it Paul threw the multi tracks off a bridge in the mid 80s.
Enjoyed this clip, but already bought and am a believer. This new mix is truly revelatory. The guitars sound fantastic, who knew?
Tim was already their best record, but this new mix...holy shit
That's it!!! Exactly!!!!!
Just listened to my copy. Love it! It’s great we are still talking about this unbelievably good band all these years later.
Ikr?
It's like a whole new album. It's amazing
Thank you Ed Stasium! It’s as if a huge blanket has been lifted off the original mix…sounds absolutely killer! Huge improvement…
It's like a whole new album with this mix. Incredible!!
Tommy is a Good Dude he lives up the Road. Think he's 2 yrs Sober now? I picked him up walking a while ago he also loves my Eggs Benedict ✌️
I bought him a Gin and Tonic at a PJ Harvey show in 1996, lol.

So I skipped an ad to watch an ad...
Not to be racist but it's really refreshing to see a black person talking about alternative rock, I feel like it's a very white genre
I wonder what it would have sounded like if Steve Albini had done the remaster?
He’s been bitching about them simply being on a major label since this came out, he gladly wouldn’t bother
Bootenanny?
They were so anti everything they wrecked playing SNL cause they were drunk
They weren’t really anti-anything except being able to deal with being successful.
stop talking and play music..
No. You can stream these songs on your own time. The presentation is why I clicked on the video.
All of the Mats' albums were overproduced after Let it Be, live was the only way to enjoy band. I blame Paul and his stooge Tommy
U rock
