- Spring has finally arrived in my area (Zone 9b) so I'm ready to get outdoors and start sprucing up my outdoor spaces. This is NOT a perfect garden and I have so much work to do but I really love the process and sometimes seeing the before makes it easy to appreciate the end result more. Let's talk gardening, outdoor furniture, and tackle my window boxes today. Hope you enjoy!

The yellow flowers are so pretty. Blue, or purple would compliment them well. It's 49 degrees and sunny in Michigan today. This is comfortable for us, but not quite gardening weather 🙃

Sounds like a lot of fun work, first your Patio area is gorgeous ❤ i love the fireplace but totally understand that you want to refresh the space, a planting table would look nice there! I think putting the dining table out to have a bigger living space is a good idea ❤ so looking forward how you will transform it! To the flowers on the ground which are Not doing well: try to fertilize them, sometimes that really makes the difference ❤

I need to get outside and do all the spring clean up for the upcoming season. I'm jealous of your warm gorgeous weather where you can have so many beautiful plants that will not survive here over the winter. Your home/garden doesn't have to be perfect to enjoy it but yours is truly beautiful. I'm excited to see what you do, but I have not doubt that everything will be perfect as always. Thank you for the inspiration to get out side and take care of what I have been putting off. I love those yellow stripe flowers!!!

Thanks Jennifer! I've been enjoying the weather here so far, we get really hot pretty early in the spring so these last few weeks of cool breezes and temperatures under 90 are welcome.

I love all your pretty flowers. I would have flowers all over the place if I could. I used to have beautiful flowers and lots of them but now unfortunately the deer eat everything I put out. I can't keep anything unless it's a hanging basket. I absolutely love flowers. I love planting them and watching them grow. Those yellow & white flowers in your window box are gorgeous. 💗🌷🌼🌸🌹

Hi Darlene! Thank you, we have deer in the area but we're fenced in so the deer aren't too bad of an issue, we do have wild rabbits though and they fit through the fence openings and can be a menace depending on the time of year. Hope you are having a great weekend!

We still have lots of snow here, having a 3 days snow storm but i have total garden vibes and been planning my garden, i even have my indoor windowsill garden for the harsh winter months
I hope some warmer weather comes your way soon! An indoor windowsill garden is a great way to get that garden fix when the weather isn't cooperating. Thanks for watching!

Hi Jen! I am so ready for Spring and summer! We just power washed our deck and we are having our flower beds professionally done this year because we are putting our house on the market soon. (We’re downsizing!) I think your patio and outdoor space is wonderful even if you chose to leave it as is (we always are harder on ourselves than our friends are on us!) I’m going to be planting my boxes soon, this got me inspired to get to it!! 🪴🫛🌱
Thanks, I agree we do tend to be hard on ourselves. From far away that wicker set looks nice but up close it's dry rotting and the legs are not strong anymore. Hope you have a great Friday!!

What!!!!!! I was 52 years old when I learned that pineapples don't grow on trees!!!😅😅😅😅 I always thought they grew like coconuts 😂. I'm dead right now! I love this tour, you have so many pretty plants and shrubs. Also, can you ship that unwanted fireplace to me!! 😂 I'm itching for a new patio set and gazebo too! I love those yellow striped flowers!!!! So pretty. Orange is my favorite flower color because it fades so beautifully into fall ❤ Great video my friend. Ps. I'm messy with everything 😂
Hey Leslie, pineapples definitely don't grow in trees...LOL If the fireplace still worked I'd keep it here, it's so old though it gave out long ago. Glad to know I'm not the only messy gardener, at least I know I'm in good company!
My husband is the gardener in the family and we have a few pineapple plants as well that he started with just a store pineapple. ☺️ Great video! Have a great Easter weekend!

Hey Jen. Nothing wrong with trying to save money. I wish I would do it more often. I suppose I choose where to be thrifty. Your wicker set is pretty. We need to show some love to our back deck. But it was snowing here this morning ha! I think gardening is a lot of trail and error. Your rose bush is so pretty. I can't wait for everything to really get blooming here in the summer garden. You live in Florida...I would be outside eating most time anyways! You could totally put your dining area outside. I can't wait to see what you decide to get furniture wise for your outdoor area!

You have a lot of options hafe the patio and do table and chars and use the set you have and up date with a rug ynder the conversation set you have now or move it in the screen area....opinion you have
