I have been looking for ideas to base my build of a Bronco Raptor 4-door on, and seeing this and the scar I want to build it on, im going to probably need three more f150 sets and two of the other. 🤣 Great work btw. 😏🥃
A problem with Zetros is that it is painfully slow and has very bad suspension clearence. Problem with Raptor is that is only rear wheel drive. You've solved both these problems by combining these two okay sets into one awesome one ^^
brilliant job, most accurate body i have ever seen, and that transmission is so simple and small... also i want to know if and which joints are used as driveshafts
Hey, man! This is the best Lego RC car with C+ in such scale! Also I love the color and shapes! P.S. remember be saying that making B-models from two Lego sets is the way to go ;-)
Just built this omg this is amazing! Great job on the body it is so cool just to look at and the chassis is so simple yet so complicated. I've always wanted a traxsas trx 4 I don't need one. One mod I'm going to do is replace the red and grey 16 tooth gears and replace them with the blue 20 tooth gear and 12 tooth gear for extra torque though it probably wouldn't need it! Very good job money well spent
Hi Victor. I bought your instruction for this model. I really like this project. I follow the instruction but i made mistake in any point. Front axle go forward , rear axle go backward. Can you help me to solve this problem?
Hi Marcin, glad you like the model! I think you put one of the differentials in the wrong direction, probably the rear one if that’s going backwards. So just flip that one left to right, and it should be good. Enjoy!
Hi i was thinking about building buying the instructions and just wanted tl ask a few questions before hand. Is this a more capable rock crawler then the mercedes zetros? And is there a bumch of spare parts after
Hi! I think it's definitely more capable than the Zetros, it has more flexible suspension and better ground clearance, and a shorter wheelbase. Though it does not have rear diff lock, you can definitely build it permanently locked (and there is no central differential either). And as it has a two-speed gearbox, the high speed is much faster than the Zetros. I think the video speaks for itself, you could not really do this with the Zetros.
About the spare parts, indeed there are a bunch of parts remaining from the two sets after building this as it is not using nearly all of two sets (even less than half of the two), especially from the Zetros, and some from the Ford Raptor as well.
@@gabeross27 Of course you can always build the diffs permanently locked by using a 28 tooth gear and connecting the two sides of the axles, that's what I do, no need for tricks. And it's usually enough to lock the rear, otherwise steering gets less effective.
Glad you like it! True that the real car has independent front suspension, but this was modeled after Traxxas RC car, which has live axles. Furthermore, 15 wide independent suspension in lego is only possible with floating differential, which is a bit dirty solution for RC model..
@@viktorgyenes8368 Could you create a model for Jeep Patriot? How much will it cost? Because I can't find anything for that car, lego only one not detailed instruction :(
@@TheSimaaWell that does not seem like an interesting car to me, and sonce it was discontinued probably not too popular, so maybe that's why no MOCs for it..
Soooo sick wish i had it. Making my own rc jeep right now
I really love this build. Makes me want to buy the TGL 1:8 scale Raptor truck and make a larger version!
Thanks! Wow that TGL model looks interesting
Amazing job, looks simply awesome. Can't wait to see more details hopefully at Eurobricks forums.
Thanks a lot, details are already posted on EB ;)
Nice job! Looks and drives great!
Thanks!
Great Lego rc. Looking good. 👍👍. I want one.
Thanks, glad you like it, well you can build it if you have those two sets, you can get the building instructions on the link above ;)
@@viktorgyenes8368 yeah. I like this rc Bronco. OK thanks. 👌
Looks are spot on and the functionality seems to be better than in the Zetros

Yeah, that was kind of the goal, you summarized it nicely 🙂 Glad you appreciate it, thanks a lot!

Thank you very much, glad you like it! All joints are the new heavy duty CV joints in the driveshaft, and planetary wheel hubs.
thanks a lot! I used normal u-joints in my mocs, they kept snapping, so i bought the CV-joints

Thanks! Sure, two sets give better possibilities :) And indeed, this is a good scale, not too big, but big enough to fit everything.
Nagyon jól néz ki! Grat! :)
Köszi!
Hi me again I've bought the instructions and I was wondering do I use the mercedes profile to control this?
Yes, it works with that!
Thanks!

There is a bronco ford made called the raptor bronco. nice though. really like the roof rack design.
Thanks, well, as you see, it's got Raptor written on it ;)

Does it have front and rear remote functioning lockers?
No it does not have lockers, the 4th motor is used for controlling the gearbox instead.
@@viktorgyenes8368 could you permanently lock the diffs instead with a bit of blue tack or something similar?

That looks so good! Does it have an RC gearbox?
Thanks! Of course it does, you can see it switching gear in the video if you watch carefully :)
Awesome! Looks extremely capable almost too good to be Lego!
Imagine if the rear diff would be built locked :) (on the video it's open)
