He's a 9erz fan born and bred once reality sinks in maxx ap and da get into his ear he will be fine. He's an elite prospect not a good or great one. Fkn elite. Him and mhj were far an away the top 2 prospects in this class.
It’s kind of just who he is. He’s a quiet, reserved, introverted shy kind of dude who doesn’t show a lot of emotion. He won 2 natties with us here in Athens, showed almost 0 emotion just went back to work.
If you like guys who show a ton emotion and like to celebrate or be the center of attention, you will hate Bowers tbh. Pretty much all he wants to do is play ball and be left alone.

I'll try to simplify the pick the best I can. If you don't understand after this, then you're too dense for me to help.
I'll lead with this disclaimer: obviously, I can't predict the future, so we're going off perception.
We took Bowers bc he was the last blue chip prospect left on the board at 13. Blue chip players, if you don't know, are players that are expected to be the best in their position. So at TE he is expected to be up there with Kelce and Kittle etc, that's his upside.
There were no other blue chips at 13, and all the top end qbs were taken so the Raiders did what every team should do in that situation. They took the last blue chip player or another way to say it Best Player Available and position be darned. A guy that's expected to be one of the best in his position.
Having 2 TEs isn't a bad thing, you can run a lot of 2 TE sets and be flexible to pass or have heavy personnel in for runs. Having 2 security blankets for AOC or Minshew isn't a bad thing either.
Anyways, that's why they drafted him.
This guy is a generational TE/WR. He's not a traditonal on the line TE like Mayer mostly is. This guy is Travis Kelce and George Kittle mixed into one. For his size at 6'4 and 245Ilbs, he runs a fast 4.5, and moves on the field like a WR like no other TE in the league. Not even Pitts is like this dude. He has great burst of speed off the line and YAC. Has great IQ to find the open spots on the field as he reads coverages. He can block and chip like crazy. And he lines up more at the slot or WR or outside WR than TE. Cut the tape on and you'll see him utilized like Kelce/Kittle. He was the 3rd or 4th best player on everyone's draft board always behind Marv Harrison JR at #3 or #4 depending on the QB rankings. Such a steal because if Adams needs to heal for a game or 2 (god forbid) , then this guy is a WR1 playmaking machine and a mismatch nightmare for opposing secondaries. That's why we got him. From what i see smart Raider fans saying, it's that you don't pass up on a Lebron, or Jordan, or Curry just because you want to get an average player at a position of need. Especially if it's a average 1st rd pick that is non-generational talent who is boom or bust. I've read that a good way of looking at this is, had Marvin Harrison JR fell to our laps at #13, you take him. That's very true unless a top QB fell to us, of course. But no one in the top ten wanted to trade back with us. So we pivoted and made our wepons stronger and our Offense truly dynamic
Fans who don't know how real football works, are making this pick more complicated than it is. Especially non-raider fans who don't even know the multiple upcoming stars already on our team or the few holes left on the roster like CB2. Other than that we are able to compete with Grahams' top 8 defense from last year (#1 defense from Week 9 to 18) , and a strong offense with AOC getting a proper - 1st team reps - full training camp plus a better playbook and playcaller than McDaniels. Lastly, they don't understand that Mayer will play in-line TE, while Bowers will be our WR1b, move around to TE, Slot, and even Full Back/RB for those backyard football trickery type plays. Baby Gronk (Mayer) and Kelce on the same team is a problem for defenses.
