Love this, birds singing, horses munching it’s so relaxing. You don’t realise quite how prehensile their nose is until you watch closely, mesmerising 😀
@@gabrielajimenez6508 Two years later I don't remember. Good reminder though - maybe I will re-watch the video - especially since lately I have been recalling it on occasion.
This was so satisfying. Thank you. The first grazer should consider changing his name to John Deere Wilde; Gracie seems to be the specialist of rocky terrain; Lena is so dainty, pausing to savour, and what a nice edging job she did around the rock garden; and Little Miss is her usual velvety gorgeousness. Lovely.
This is wonderful to wake up to on a Monday morning! I'm so giggling here. Look at them go! Hahaha! And they bite and chew at the same time! What a clever trick! 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃
Just enjoying watching the horses eating grass, I know it's two years old but very relaxing. I've just been mowing the grass in my back garden, which isn't terribly big, when a thought crossed my mind. If only I lived near to you I could have loaned one of your horses to do the job for me but the UK is a very long commute lol🤣
@@StableHorseTraining It's 4,523 miles door to door! Hope your weather is improving we still have cooler than average temperatures and wet and windy, not quite as much rain. Definitely crazy weather when I'm having to go to work in my winter coat on the third of June!!
When you're in a busy city you do miss the sounds of country/farm life lots used to have maybe or grew up with and their noises are funny and nice to hear when you don't everyday. Also fun to watch how they go for all the fresh greens like "Best salad greens ever! 😋 Chomp chomp" Springtime is the best! Ah Lena so pretty💖!
Thank you Graeme to share these moments of pure joy to watch and hear the sound of horses eating grass👍🐎👏 Luke was really craving for green grass.. Lena and Little Miss seemed more reasonable 😁 I also love and miss the sound of hooves on a trail or on the pavement of a street, or walking in/out of their stalls. It carries me back into another century!
I never knew it would be so relaxing just listening to them crunch.love your Chanel and I can't get enough. Bless you for the way you treat these horses.
Thanks Graeme, for this little trip down memory lane for me. Growing up, many a happy hour was spent leading the horses out of their field in search of patches of lush grass for them to munch on!
After seeing them all, Mr.Wilde wins the luscious sounds grsss eating noncontest. Enthusiastic, slurping, smacking and definitely loving his grass mowing contribution!!!
Thank you, Graeme! So relaxing to watch your horses munching away. And the way you filmed this up close gave me the impression I was with them! 🙏😍 Eventually it would be interesting to know more about your horses' diet, from foraging to supplements, to salt and water intake, and different hay qualities, etc. Everyday, you're contributing to putting back beauty and peace in a world that desperately needs it. Thank you. ✨🌟🐎🌱🐴✨
That was cool to watch, thank you! I think I enjoyed watching Lena and her eyes while she ate the most. Mr. Wilde was so fast, like he was starving or something. Thanks again!
Oh, what a good idea to post a video with eating horses.... I LOVE the virtuosity of their lip, it's fantastic to be able to observe that spectacle so narrowly.... And I love the way, Little Miss tears the grasa off the ground - in absolutely all possible directions... Wonderfull.... 😍😍😍😍 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Gracie can" seem to get through the grass fast enough> Lena likes to go back and get the few blades she missed. Its a good meditation video,LOL LOVE IT
Pretty efficient mowers. It’s fascinating to watch how they use their almost prehensile mussels to gather up so much grass. Oops, sounds like someone else wants in on this deal.
thank you. ❤❤ Little Miss is growing up to be positively gorgeous - that face with her soft, big eyes! question: have any studies been done that show that there is a release of dopamine (or the horsey equivalent) when they are grazing? I mean they have food 24/7 but take to grazing like there is no tomorrow.
That's a great question, I've never heard that myself as they are simply eating. If the act of eating causes dopamine to release.. well, that seems nicely logical in a way. I have heard that a horse lowering their head causes their heart rate to slow a bit though. Not tested... I should do that.
Sweet, brave girl. Reward for getting out of the paddock. I love the crunching sound; she almost sounds like a weed eater. Look at her go! The sound of the birds and adorable Gracie. Go Gracie go! Lena is such a pro.
This is great!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Lena was better than our weed whacker. They all looked like they had a great time munching. Watching & listening was very relaxing. Thanks for sharing. Loved it!! ❤️👍🏼🐴🌾 MLFNY 💕
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️have an idea 💡 maybe once a month. You could have an eight hour uncovered arena, video of all the horses in the arena together, you could have hay stations around the arena perimeter… Just a thought. Of course, it would only be possible if no one is trying to hoard the food lol 😆
Hay stations... ok, you show up and clean it all up when it's done :) 8 hours of hay stomped in and poop everywhere! No, the arena isn't a living area. I do lots of 2 hour live streams to watch. Hang out for 4 of those!
I miss that noise. It's so beautiful I miss it it's sitting there with Katie Babe while she eating her breakfast and supper in supper at night time. I miss her and Cody so much. I think Katie Babe has gone to rainbow Creek. But Cody I think he has changed owners.
Love the sound of your babies feasting on grass. Is grass nutritious for them, more than the hay farm animals usually eat? And does Lena require more food due to her size & breed? Loved the close up shot you had a Lena's nose & mouth. Horses are really magnificent animals. If you did this every week, you would probably never have to mow or weed wack EVER!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful close-up.
It can be more nutritious in some ways and other ways it can be worse. High sugars in grass can send horses sideways for sure. Hay is a fantastic constant for horses and great for their system. Grass goes up and down all the time and plenty of horses have become both under and over weight due to it. Lena does not need more food than the others, she's overweight in fact and has less going to her now that we're in the warmer season.
Nothing on the real thing, but this? This, I could gleefully go to sleep to. Edit: How in the world did you get that much sound? Are the horses wearing a microphone?
Great way to get the grass cut. Lawnmower and weed whacker- in-one (horse) Luke (first horse?) was definitely making a dent. Hey! Doesn’t Lina have a birthday this month? Have a great day! Peace

I watch a channel on training driving horses and he always refers to it as "their hand". I see now why!
yeah with Russain Rap music in the background
😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
I could watch this all day. The upper lip wiggles hunting out the best bits is adorable 🥰
How wonderful. Dear horses 'chomping' the grass. Thanks for this Graeme.
thanks from Dylan Wiberg
The most eco friendly lawn mower, the grass gets shortened and the horse gets a nice meal
can they do mine before 22 DEC R6 since it's kinda long right now
Today I ate dinner with four horses from Canada. And I am very grateful for it.

That excitement of Little Miss when she finds more than a tuffett! Rip rip rip

Who needs air? There's fresh greens to monch

Love this! I have an idea too! How about a forelock or mane cam, so that we can see life from the horses' point of view.
You would need a 360° camera for a horse point of view ;D
But yeah, it could be interesting. Especially on a trail or in the arena.
