Please keep in mind, whether known or unbeknownst to themselves, there are some Black Americans with genetic ties to Latin American nations.

You can sill choose what you want to identify as . You can choose to be black only, latinos only , or afro Latinos. Most Latinos are mixed race and see ourselves as a race.

Yeah you talking about the mestizos of Mexico and Central America who reject their indigenous identity and culture and hide behind made terms like Latino as a racial descriptor which is not a real thing no matter what the 2030 census says

It starts with education. The Latinos want to look to Spain for an identity. We want to think the identity of Spaniards today were the identity of our ancestors from Spain. I think we need a reeducation on the history of Spain and the Cultural identity of Iberian peoples prior to 1492. The powers that control “public education systems” know this. This is why they keep our nations improvised, and public education is low funded on a global scale. Knowledge of self is the key to Freedom. A great damage was done to African American people, Latin American people and most of all Native American people. Once we all understand Spain and its formation as a Sovereign nation. We can begin to trace our roots to the Bible its self. Collectively we are the children of Israel. To whom the glory is promised. We are the gentiles. The lost Sheep of the house of Israel. He has gathered all of us to one place as promised. Once we come to that understanding. Everything else falls in place. From 1492 to the to the present day. All of our social obstacles and hurdles are understood. We understand everything and why we are witnessing so much evil in the world today.

NO..I Disagree..Yes u have roots in Africa but your not "BLACK"? Being Black is specifically for the ADOS BA Community because yall didnt start using the term BLACK until BA FOUGHT for the RIGHT to call ourselves Black..Yes there are plenty of Negeoid Ppl living South of the US Boarder and most Carrabian Islands but it doesn't make you BLACK? And as far as Latin Jazz is concerned..theres no such thing as Latin Jazz?? What yall have is an INTERPERTATION of US ADOS BA JAZZ..Dont get me Wrong..I Luv Y'alls Music..but what yall are saying makes no sense? U dont hear Africans running around calling themselves BLACK AFRICANS...Rule of thump..If your from a Latin/Hispanic Country YOU ARE NOT BLACK!!! Negroid Absolutely..but Black? How? Most Spanish Speaking Ppl are of mixed Heritage/Lineage (so-called race) Being Afro doesnt not equal being BLACK. Being Black American has nothing ro do with our Skin Color?? Being ADOS BA is our National Identity as the Descendants of American Slavery in the US.🤔

The Haitian Revolution started it all. Without the Haitian Revolution. The Evolution of music would be much different today. What is New Orleans to The USA without the Haitian Revolution? As would all things in present day in time. Before you start in New Orleans or Cuba. You must look to the island of Hispaniola. Where the African Drum, Native Guira and Spanish strings first meet to create what is known to day as Afro-Latino music.
