Nice Alco switcher. Brian did a good job with that. Cool steel yard and pictures of the derailment. Hope no one was seriously injured. You are gonna need some fencing to contain the livestock so they don't get away before being loaded. 😆
Thanks for showing off my little T-6. I like that one. Having that car lifted off the rails by the overhead crane was pretty funny. "Much fun with trains" indeed!
Like the 44 tonner. The alco is nice too. As for troubles with flat cars. I was thinking the hook might be a problem, I called the no head end room before he started to pull the flat from the apron. :)
Another enjoyable video Burr!! Re the NKP drop end gondola. It looks to be a P-2000 model that had removable end doors. These kits came with two slightly different sets of doors per car so you should be able to scrounge up a suitable set for your car. The doors do have reporting marks and numbers so you may have to repaint them.
Man that unit looks amazing! I wish I had an alco switcher, my main layouts all small steam locos, but my industrial park currently has a HM10-44, a 70 tonner and I’m likely getting a NW2 although I wish I could find a SP dcc sound VO-1000 as I watched it on one of my favorite show vendors site be there on his shelves and website for years and always said I’d eventually get it and never did and it eventually sold. Doubt I’ll find it with Dcc sound for 109$ ever again. Need a switcher thats around 6 inches coupler to coupler, what’s the length of this model?
Always fun videos. So the Rapido 44ton is shipping now? I preordered one directly from them in 3/23, undecorated, and haven't heard anything. Shold I be calling them?
Went to a show two weeks ago and several vendors had boxes and boxes of them. All around 250$ with dcc sound and countless livery’s including unlettered lease models. Not a fan of centercabs but they do look nice!
Thanks for another fun video. Brian has a great talent for weathering, and on an Alco too boot.😀
You're welcome. Brian's work is great!

Thanks for all your comments! Yes to all of them. I should scatter the livestock on the track to motivate me to get that fence up!

It's a beauty alright. Sometime we have to stage that crane move again. People are going to love it! :)
Beautiful Alco T6 . Thanks for sharing Burr. Love that 47.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Reality Model Railroading at it's best! Keep it up, Mr. Stewart!

Good call! I sure wish I'd thought of making a video of the incident. Next time!

Yes, definitely a P-2000 model. Good to know they came with two sets of doors - who knows what I may find at the next swap meet now...

These GE 44-tonners are 4.5 inches coupler to coupler.

Yes, they are arriving, but I heard from someone that the undecorated versions are shipping late, so I would wait a bit before looking into it.
