- Happy 100th anniversary to United Artists. United Artists is an American film and television entertainment studio founded in 1919 by D. W.. Their first film was Broken Blossoms (1919) and their latest is Creed (2015). They have upcoming films in 2019 and 2020, such as Missing Link, Booksmart, and Bond 25.
The one turning sideways slowly with the dramatic music is one of my favorite opening logos of all time. Classy and impressive.
4:13-5:10 - The Joe Harnell version. Just seeing and hearing it makes me ready for a Bond film.
I bet Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, D W Griffith and Douglas Fairbanks are not to happy about their film studio not in business anymore!!
It has been relaunched in July 2024
As of July 2024, United Artists has finally been revived!

The 1967-1968 logo is seen on the Dollars Trilogy blu-ray from Kino Lorber from 2017.
