@@Loukious They deliberately put Trubisky in at the end of last week too. I think they've been doing that on purpose once the game is "out of reach" so that he can get some good plays on tape. There would be two reasons for doing that: A. Trading him for premium assets or B. Brian Daboll intends to take Trubisky with him when a head coaching gig opens up elsewhere.
Oh yeah, it also gives a good reason every week to point and laugh at the incompetence of the Chicago Bears management. ;P

Time of possession was terribly lopsided so I'm not surprised the defense broke by the second half.

The 2021 Bills are the third team in NFL history to have 2 shutout wins in the first 4 weeks. The other 2 were the '91 Redskins and the '00 Ravens. And both those teams won the Super Bowl!

What are you talking about? Do you know anything about statistical analysis? The Bills held two NFL teams to 0 points, and are averaging a 22.5 point scoring margin. That's pretty elite to me.

@@stevej71393 Matt Nagy needs to be fired immediately. He literally damn near ruined Trubisky’s career and is gonna do the same for Fields. That Bears team needs a complete makeover with the coaching staff and GM. I think Fields is gonna be a stud if Nagy doesn’t ruin him. And lol Mitch is one happy guy to be here in Buffalo.
Make no mistake - Chicago's win against the Lions this week might be the HIGH point of this season. The next three opponents the Bears face are the Raiders (road), Packers (home) and Buccaneers (road) and it is very likely the Bears will be 2-5 at the end of that stretch. Add in two more games against the 49ers (home) and Steelers (road) and you're going into the bye likely 2-7 or 3-6; at that point you're pretty much out of the playoff race and heads will start rolling (if they haven't already done so).
It's gonna be all downhill from here in Chicago while Buffalo is full on charging their way into a potential Super Bowl appearance - which team would YOU rather be involved with this year? ;)

Look at Heinike had decent games today and against Giants but can't do jack against Bills. Mills had a few bright spots against Panthers but completely demolished today. Cooks putting up 100 yards every game except against Tre White and Bills. "Style points" do matter at times.

Probably the worst ending of a game I've seen as a Bills fan from that wildcard game (even the AFC championship game, but honestly that was a mismatch in retrospect but I wont go into details. Takes too long).
As a revenge game?? ehhh maybe? No Watson or JJ OR Hopkins kinda makes it not as fulfilling. I felt like the bills were a good matchup for the texans back in 2019, just unpolished at that moment I suppose. Overall I'll take the dub.

Like it or not, the Bills are the most complete team in the league right now. Three field goals that could have been touchdowns. “But they played against Davis Mills...” Yes, they did EXACTLY what you should do against a third-string.

@routeheemup If the rams can stay healthy the entire year? Yes. The difference is that the Bills have DEPTH. We had 3rd string defense and 2nd string offense out for a good portion of the 4th quarter in our shutouts and were still crushing. I'd say 1st string Bills v.s 1st string Rams would be close in strength currently. Given Rams having tougher strength of schedule so far it would be fair to say they should even have benefit of doubt to be favored in the head to head with everyone healthy.....but comparing positional depth it's not even close.
For example....we were missing 3 key starters, 2 of which were defensive players in this complete thrashing. Rams had to make visible changes to game plan around their major injury while we didn't.

Bills after week 1 loss. Forget that, let's stick to dominating teams we're better than
I seriously blame our lack of actually giving our key players game time in preseason. It's clear that it took them a match and a half to get their groove back. Games are different than practice and that's all their is to it. We 100% should have had our starters play some in the 1st 2 preseason games and then rest the 3rd. I whole heartedly believe that's the safest and most effective way to use preseason. Most injuries in the NFL cause a player to miss between 0-2 weeks. So resting the 1st 2 preseason and playing in the last one is completely nonsensical IMHO. Play them early so you can see areas to improve upon that you don't see in normal practice and then rest them on the week where if they ARE injured would actually affect your season.

Josh Allen and our receiving corp are obviously great, but it's so nice to see our defense playing great after underperforming in the 2020-21 season, as well as seeing our run game developing, and Dawson Knox breaking out. Our whole roster is coming together beautifully this season and I think that we're ready for Chiefs next week.

As a Texans fan, I'll just say this: This was the kind of ineptitude we were expecting coming into the season, especially on offense. To say that we were surprised at how well the Texans did in Week 1 vs. the Jaguars is an understatement. Sadly, I think this showing vs. the Bills will be the norm for most of the rest of the season.
Texans life is nothing but pain. For the past year I have been throwing darts at a picture of Bill O' Brian's head on a dartboard.

Bills could've easily had 60. Had to settle for field goals on 4 red zone trips, as well as miss a couple 4th down conversions. Game wasn't even close.
Not to mention deciding not to use the last 2 minutes of the game to try to get just 10 yards to get in field goal range to break the franchise record for point differential in a single game. I was a little upset about that. Those opportunities don't come very often and breaking records sells tickets. Nonsensical to me.
People think we're on some sort of offensive crusade, really we just don't want to have our punter out there taking forever to get rid of it.
