I really loved the attention to detail in this look - while it’s not wild, heavy, or super ‘out there’, the work that went into every detail was amazing. The little flecks of glitter were gorgeous!
Yes! They are very meticulous about the eyes! Like what they say, the eyes are the window to your soul lol but last year when I had no makeup artist for my wedding, I incorporated a lot of these techniques from Korean makeup artists. I got compliments from both my hair stylist and photographer thinking it was someone professional who did my makeup. My hair stylist even told me they’d hire me if I was ever interested in wanting to be a MUA 😆
I like Tina’s brief and informative description of the steps citing what’s happening and why. I wish the skincare prep had been described as well bc it’s such a huge part of k makeup.
It's so interesting to see changes in makeup styles throughout the years in the kpop industry! Kpop, especially with the 4th gen, appears to have become more and more inclined towards the doll-like, cutesy look 🤔😅
Which is a shame. You have idols with already plump lips, filling them up to look a circle 😢 not to say body image was better in any other decade. But image and dancing are becoming more important than singing because you can 'autotune' everything
@@izabelezyleifyauto tune has been abused in kpop since forever, especially during the heavy electronic-pop music era which was 2nd gen-ish. I do agree that dancing has become more important tho :0
@notobsidian okay, maybe my wording was wrong. Autotune is everywhere and has been for a long time, not in the electo tpain way. I feel like the voices are becoming more easy-going, with not so much vocal excellence. Most singers simply dont have the pipes. The wow factor is focused on the choreo now. I don't mean it in a 'the old days were better'. There's more variety, but you have to look for those who can sing well.
Hmm I think they used much lighter foundation because this is a "kpop idol" make up. I don't know anything about makeup, but thinking same way as painting. Lighter background make other color pop up, clear, and more bright. in this case the pinkish eye shadows and blush will seem more clearly on the pale foundation? That's my guess.
That's what I thought while she was in the chair, but at the end while she was out in natural light at least on my monitor it looked totally fine. I paused at 12:34 and her face looks like a solid match for her neck, ears, chest all the way down, and hands. If you pause at 13:00 while she's sitting facing the camera it looks great. She looks pretty much the same as in the last few videos as well. It definitely looked too light in the salon but it looked pretty good outside in natural light.
Love it! The makeup is so delicate and gorgeous. And the hairbows, that flashed me right back to my teens. I regularly rocked a high bun into a hairbow throughout school. People thought I was odd, but I guess I was just being cool in the wrong continent.😅 At the start I was like omg what is wrong with their fingernail, thinking they had some sort of nail damage, nope. Just eyeliner. 😂
I love watching these types of videos, they make me relax and when i put phone away i fall asleep so fast ☺️ and ofc i appreciate the content, so good ❤
Hey girl!! This is so crazy how much time and detail these makeup Artists put into there work 😮😅. So amazing the patient and love they have to make others feel amazing 👏 about themselves. You looked so adorable I loved the hair style so cute. One love ✌🏼❤ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 🖤
That was so satisfying that I'm able to sleep 🥰 I'll watch it whenever I wanna sleep when I'm tired Really amazing makeup❤ The eye makeup is especially satisfying
I really enjoyed that! thanks tina So interesting how other parts of the world dose makeup I might try that eye look soon as I feel well. Sore from being in a accident.
Wow, it looked amazing. The detailing was so prosiss. I couldn't do that. I'd have to get up 4 hours early to try any of this. You look so beautiful, Tina 😍💖💖💖XXXX
Oh nooo, the whole liner on the thumbnail thing freaked me out! But you look amazing and those eyelashes were so on point. But man I also hate the light makeup, because you can match your neck all day, but you can't cover up legs and arms that come in other skin tones. I love k-beauty (I'm fully embracing the eye bags) but yeah, the pale skin obsession is my least favorite thing.
Hi Tina if you’re reading this . Please bring back some of your iconic false lashes from petite club that were not too natural or too dramatic when it comes to the length like for example :cheeky, feminist , desire, Pom Pom Those lashes were my favorites as it flattered someone like me with small almond eyes with small eye lids and it made me fell in love with your brand. Or please create more style of lashes that create some glam to the eyes without being too long of length . ❤❤❤
너무 귀엽다 😍 I LOVE!! also the group IVE is pronounced like I’ve - most kpop groups with all caps letter names you’re saying the letters (like BTS and NCT) but for them you actually say the word! 🤗
i actually hoping Tina will get the more mature idol style rather than the young 4th generation idol nowadays. i think she will rock some of CL style the badass female, femme fatale kind of idol
Regarding certain comments, it's funny how westerners only complain about preferring a certain skin tone if it means going lighter. The western ideal of tanning all year around and picking a 2-3 shades darker foundation is perfectly fine and fully accepting of one's own skin tone, but the second East Asians prefers the opposite, it's insecurities and colorism and "why would anyone want to be pale", lol. Anyway, Tina, you look amazing in this makeup! The colours and the lashes suit you so well. 🌸
Ikr? Since becoming an adult, the most effort I've ever put into my make-up has always been my base, and my life's work has been to get it as accurately colour-matched as possible to softly blend into my neck, and avoid my pet peeve of a "tide-mark" - perhaps unusually though, this 50 year old caucasian westerner has always been more than happy to stay her pale, cool-neutral and "ghostly" self, despite all the years of having to lighten foundation! :) [edit: and yes, Tina looks absolutely *amazing* - as always! And I want, want, want that hairstyle - even at my age, lol!]
Came here looking for this comment. It's like some westerners don't realize different beauty standards exist around the world, and it doesn't mean East Asians want to be white lol. Why is it okay for them to tan like 3 shades darker, but not okay for us to want to be fairer when having fair skin has been considered beautiful for centuries in many East Asian cultures?
I too am Asian, while Im no fan of wearing foundation lighter than one’s actual skin tone, it really makes me roll my eyes when non Asians assume that it means we want to “look white”. That’s such an Eurocentric thing to say. Fair skin as the standard of beauty has been around in Asian cultures for centuries, before any white people had set foot in Asia.
@@justpreciousthings6045especially because white/western ppl aren’t ever actually white but pinkish…so if u want to look white get a tan or wear pink foundation! no offense to yt ppl but e asian makeup seems to actually favor a bright look all over and is definitively asian.
In my country we do use individual lashes in salons for doing a professional makeup instead of the whole fake lashes that look unnatural. Many have naturally long lashes those who don't still prefer individual lashes. The part that I didn't like was the foundation shade it's already too light and she didn't use any blushes (I noticed that they don't wear blushes) it gives a pale sick look vibe!
wow i remember LADY GAGA did that kind of ribbon hairstyle long time ago. Looks like a cute little version of it. lol You look so good in idol makeup 😊
Who wants to join my Kpop girl group? 🤣
Mee, is Zen included!?
Me ✋
Yess I'm 😌
Me unnie ☺️
me HAHAHHA
Thanks for not using a blurring filter and showing your real skin 🥰

I kinda miss the smokey eyes sometimes

Tina makes the best content! Love watching all the makeup tips and tricks they used in you! You look so cute with your hair up in bows!
Loved this! The end result was so good 😍
I love everything about the make up except the foundation shade being five times lighter than the skin tone 💀
Yeah I don't understand this. Feels like they're ashamed of their natural skin tone even though it's already beautiful!
@@meg2444 They say it is because of the lights but Idk if this is true

So so beautiful. Thanks for sharing bts of how can girls in kpop look so flawless.
Just so you know, IVE (the group) is the short form of I HAVE. You can pronounce it as I've

You look absolutely perfect Tina. Always young Tina.

I love how Korean make up artists are so gentle everytime they apply make up. It is so relaxing. ❤
Wow, it looked amazing. The detailing was so prosiss. I couldn't do that. I'd have to get up 4 hours early to try any of this. You look so beautiful, Tina 😍💖💖💖XXXX

I like the way the makeup artist chose a lot of lip colors to make her own lip color for you and to contour your lips at the same time.
In Asia (mostly southeast) women are obsessed with having white skin! Most of their skincare products are geared towards lightening the skin!😊
Wow! Your make-up looks sooo good! I love it, way better than the Dior one, sorry to say 🤭
BEYOND FAB & CUTE, dear Tina!!! Love from old Pinkie
This looks sooooo good! 💖
I do wish we got to see what products she used tho. What foundation and concealer was used on this look? :D
Wow😮 what skill and you look amazing
So so so pretty !!!
They like to enhance the bottom eyelid.. .not eyebags. But anyway, the final look is so good, really love the hair bows too.
The makeup looks amazing and I want to try to learn it too, but I came here to say, I really love your bare skin face, it's superrrrr cute!!!

Well, kpop makeover usually includes too light foundation to hide idol's natural skin tone. I absolutely despise that.
loveeee the look. it's so cute
OMG I LOVE THE EYELASHES
SO CUTE
You look so cute. 👏👏👏❤❤❤🤩🤩🤩 (I’m sure Alfred will like your look.)
you are looking soo cutee tina❤
I saw a little bit of Moonbyul (from Mamamoo) in you! You look stunning!
wow i remember LADY GAGA did that kind of ribbon hairstyle long time ago. Looks like a cute little version of it. lol
You look so good in idol makeup 😊
A master at doing lashes.
The hair looks so cute on you! You really pull it off 💙 and the makeup too of course
I love the technique with the lashes. You already do such beautiful makeup on yourself. Curious what foundation they use?
Same
Love love love the hair!!!!
Such a cute look!
Tina you’re so beautiful ❤ This make up look really highlighted all the already pretty features of your face. And the hair do was cuuuuuuuute! 🎀🎀
The hairstyle is amazing
