Thank you! I come from a Hindu background but am deeply interested in western esotery Can I replace the deities in the working with Hindu/Eastern deities?
You can certainly try it with Hindu godnames and see if that works. The deities you choose for each of the four pentagrams should each correspond to one of the four classical elements (air for east, fire for south, water for west, and earth for north). I would be interested to know what your results are!
Great to see this as the books can be a little unclear. I first learnt this from Dion Fortune’s Psychic Defence, I was being psychically attacked for quite a few months, and reading her book and did this to help and was helped by a great transpersonal therapist to recover. Psychic attacks lead to mental breakdowns and that’s quite upsetting. Can you explain why this ritual helps and the theory behind why you would do it during a psychic attack? How are psychic attacks done and how can we protect ourselves? Would also offer a suggestion- would also very much appreciate a video on psychic attacks in general! Thanks and enjoying and appreciate your thoughts and work
Thank you for this! Just a question: from the golden dawn texts the first name of God used at East is IHVH (I was actually looking for that pronunciation when I found this video) but you use a different one? May I ask where this variation comes from?
So i was doing right, i really need to know the difference between the LBRP, and Middle Pillar , because i was beginning too think i was getting it wrong.
Not a stupid question at all! Feel free to use my video in the background as you perform the LBRP. But as you become more familiar with the practice, you may want to do it with nothing playing in the background
Thanks for your demonstration and earnestness with which you performed the rite, I am somewhat puzzled at the name of power as you draw the pentagram in the Eastern quarter. I used to perform this many years ago and I was taught that the invocation for the eastern quarter was the Tetragrammaton. I'm not saying you are wrong, you seem very sincere, I would like to know what you think and why you have changed the wording of this ritual.
I have a video where I demonstrate the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram but have not yet demonstrated the Greater Ritual of the Hexagram - perhaps I will demonstrate it in a future video!
A friend of mine referred me toward this practice - do you recommend studying the steps and then diving in, or are there preliminary techniques or practices one should familiarize with before engaging in this ritual? Thanks and all the best.
No need to familiarise yourself with other rituals before this one. The banishings themselves are the rituals you familiarise yourself with before any other rituals. I would recommend learning the banishing rituals (LBRP and LBRH) as the very first magickal rituals you learn. They allow you to keep your ritual space (as well as your mind) cleared of unwanted energies, and that is definitely the place you want to be starting from with magick. I do a LBRP and LBRH before and after every other magickal working that I do, no matter what it is, so they are great as a primer
Thank you for this demonstration 🙏🏽 I have a question: can the LBRP still work if we use different names of the same God (with each name corresponding with the element/direction we're facing) without calling on the archangels/angels? Thanks!
If you are going to substitute the names of the archangels, I would recommend choosing angels/names of God with the same elemental correspondence as the archangel you are replacing
Thank you you are truly a love for posting this and I am grateful. I just have one question... The placement of Raphael in the east and Gabriel in the west... For me the east is air and west be water. I associate Raphael with water and healing and blue. I associate Gabriel with air and mentality and communication. How goes your beliefs/associations/correspondences? I ask out of a great desire to know others thoughts and feelings on this matter, as I have encountered many who use the same formula, if you will, as you do. Thank you again love 💕 93
I am working from the correspondences that are used in Liber 777. Traditionally, since Raphael presides over healing and medicine Raphael is considered a more intellectual (thus airy) archangel. The caduceus adopted by the medical profession is the staff of Hermes/Mercury, who is also associated with the intellect. Gabriel as the messenger of some higher power can be associated with intuition and creativity and thus water (Gabriel's association with the Moon also links back to water). But I can see the rationale behind your attributions too
So as a total beginner stepping into this world of magik ritual and seeing your differing methods, am I to think that it does not matter which way around you do things as long as what, your intentions are the same? I'm unsure how this works. Help me understand how the magik works the same even though your ingredients are not? Tbh I don't even know how to formulate this question correctly I'm so outside the paradigm. But I really want to learn. Thank you
Hi! Thank you again for this video. This one, as well as all your other ones, are immensely helpful. I wanted to ask, how does changing the invokation from YHVH to Elohim in the east affect things? I always want to understand better how changing parts of a ritual affects things before doing so. Will it invoke a different energy, or is the end-result the same? I've been using your variation of LBRP lately, and it seem to work fine, but I figured I would ask! 93 93/93
Well....technically,,,,,,there is no rhyme or reason for any of the godnames. For kicks and giggles though, (if we must analyze it), Y.H.V.H. is actually all 4 elements, yod and vav being masculine fire and air, and hey/hey as earth and water. Technically we could use it on ANY of the 4 corners, and/or all of them. The only reason "they" chose it was because the yod at the beginning of the tetragrammaton is said to be fire in nature. Though, really, the original meaning of the yod is a hand and arm. In the ancient Hebrew name Benjamin/Benyamin, (for example), the Yod here symbolizes the meaning of the name, which is "son of the right hand". This arm and hand represent DOING, or ACTION, thus the fire element. I am only pointing this stuff out because there are so many people who are so certain of the GD techniques but just blindly accept them instead of doing research. L.T.C. seems to think they were "blinds" for the uninitiated, but I am certain they were just not as knowledgeable about the source materials and did create these Frankenstein rituals to appease as many people as would follow. I am not saying they "work" or do not "work", (what does that even mean, "work"? Nobody seems to agree on WHAT this ritual actually DOES), just that your view and knowledge will shape their efficacy. I am Jewish, and know too much to accept the traditional "public" rendition of the LBRP, (Crowley I think said there was a greater version of this ritual than the one made public). I think the real "blind" is accepting the traditions of those who clearly did not benefit from their practices, and indeed, if anything really went south. Far better to follow the traditional Jewish prayer the LBRP is based on than the mangled GD version. In whatever you choose to do though, do it with the good of all beings in mind and with the intent to benefit only. Everything you do with this mindset will succeed. You do not even really need a ritual. Rituals only help get you into a new mindset, a separate "sacred space". The greatest "magic" I have ever done was done very impromptu and was very effective. There is such a thing as too much pomp and ceremony, and GD, O.T.O. Thelema all have that in spades....
Thank you for your question. I have used the godnames originally used by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn with one exception - Substituting IHVH with Elohim in the LBRP. I know of other magicians who have done this. Some of us feel names of God associated with 'Jehovah' or 'Yahweh' carry too much baggage linked to forms of religion that do not reflect our own convictions. Another issue quite apart from that is that there is a lot of ambiguity/disagreement around the correct pronunciation of the four-lettered name. You may have your own preferences in this regard. Ultimately the most important thing is that you can demonstrate the ritual has the result you want it to have
Hi Sir, I wanted to ask - Is it okey to perform Kabalistic Cross and say the Invocation of Solomon (Talisman) and then Bornless Rites? Im done watching and going to perform in the future of LBRP is that okey without Banishing or I needed to perform it after the LBRP? I hope to get a clear version Banishing Ritual of yours in the future. Thank you and be blessed.
I would recommend LBRP or some kind of banishing before or after any other kind of magick. The Qabalistic Cross and Invocation of Solomon are both good rituals for preparing/clearing the space, including before the Bornless Rite
I have a question? The LBRP is it The Qabalistic Cross, then the LBRP, then the Middle Pillar you do all together at one time, one after the other? Or no?
In the cross portion of this ritual why is Vegedulh used and not Netzhech it is the opposite side of Gebura (Forgive my spelling). Are we utilizing the Sephera on the tree of life ?
Great video, l'm sure there is a kabbalistic reason for the cardinal directions of the God names. However l have wondered if other god names work as effectively. "Jesus Christ" works superlatively in a bannishing context even though it's not even close to the way his name really sounded. Yeshua Ben Yoseph or Joshua Ben (Son of) Joseph. The collective faith in Spanish & Greek name Jesus Christ perhaps has charged the name with power. Even though no body 2022 years ago would of known who the heck you were referring to if you said Jesus Christ. There are 7 other hebrew names of god l've wondered if they would bannish just as well?
It depends. Do the names you are thinking of correspond to any of the classical elements that might make them compatible or not compatible with a cardinal direction? It also depends on what kinds of beliefs you vest in certain godnames. If in doubt, you can always experiment with certain godnames and see what the effect is
In the Michael kraig versión, he adds a hand gesture after drawing the pentagrams and i can undestand why its both hands at the side of the head with the index finger pointing foward before charging the pentagrams, any idea why?
I am not familiar with that version of the LBRP, however I have seen some people make a hand gesture at their heads during the ritual. It seems to symbolise 'pushing out' the pentagram from the imagination out into the objective world. But that is just my interpretation
My question is i thought you started drawing the pentagram from the top down, as if you're pulling energy down from above. You did it and notated it the other way?
ATEH MALKUTH VE-GEBURAH VE-GEDULAH LE OLAHM AUM ELOHIM ADONAI EHEIEH AGLA Before me RAFAEL Behind me GABRIEL At my right hand MICHAEL At my left hand URIEL For about me flames the pentagram And within me shines the six-rayed star ATEH MALKUTH VE-GEBURAH VE-GEDULAH LE OLAHM AUM
@@LiftingtheLamp I've been looking all over for this since I've been practicing daily and have trouble remembering the words. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Spending more time in ritual can certainly make it stronger, provided you remain fully invested in it and don't simply go into autopilot (which can be a danger in some longer rituals)
Do you consisntely do this ritual with your eyes open? Or do you close them normally off camera for the sake of better relaxation into the feeling of your visual?
Hi, thank you for this video. I am having a neg problem who tricked me into commanding it to live blue! Using the Psychic Self Defense Book by Robert Bruce his version is slightly foffernt to yours and states to use or imagine a blue flame or streak staying in the air.. The pentagram is the same but doffenrt method. I think its seen somewhat into the future and tricked me into commanding all sorts. Do you have any advice? Does this work, you didn't state any specific colour. For all I know it's a lie, he/she has completely lied to me from beginning to end with segregating me from friends and family and causing all sorts of mayhem in my life. I got rid and now came back. The book also states to oick a particular religion and state the names however I don't really had a religion. I thought I had a kundalini awakening so following Hinduism, well Shakti and Shiva for a bit but unsure now that I did, as as much as I believe in God, I do t believe in christianality as such and the bible has been changed multiple times.. what would you suggest? Or what religion.. I do believe in a god, i believe in jesus as he also opened his chakras but I could be overthinking the whol situation.
Everybody has a different answer about what the right religion is. Some people have no religion but are eclectic, drawing inspiration from many different beliefs. Ultimately you will find the path to the divine that suits you best
Interesting choice for the eastern God name evocation, never heard anyone use Elohim, usually is the Tetragrammaton, may I ask, why the change? Does it change the ritual in any way?
There are a few people who substitute YHVH for Elohim, usually for one of two reasons; either they don't like the association of YHWH with Old Testament religion and all the negative/outdated connotations that brings for a lot of people. Others do it as a mark of respect for the 'unpronounceable name' which points toward something outside human comprehension. It is possible to be motivated by a bit of both, and that is why I adopted the substitution. Other people prefer the original version which is also fine
I notice you don't raise your finger in a gesture of silence after saying the names after tracing the pentagram as instructed in brother Crowley's writings. Just curious. Keep up the good work.
So before I do an invocation I do a banishing ritual. After the invocation ritual I send out my spell / wish / ritual, then after that, I do a banishing ritual again to make sure no energies stayed behind? I just want to make sure: if I want to send out a spell to change someone so they can realize that they are doing wrong towards someone else. Do I just do a Banishing R, invocation R then I say what I want to be done(how or in what form or language do I do it?) And once done I close with a Banishing R again? If you could help with this please. Thanks very much
I have heard of people doing this with certain rituals if they live in the southern hemisphere. Personally I have not really incorporated it into my own practice because I see the zodiacal symbols as more of a cultural rather than a purely cosmological concept. But when calling upon more macrocosmic forces (not so much elemental) in the southern hemisphere I can see value in aligning the practice with the actual positions of the fixed signs
Because of this ritual I've been able to stay safe in bad situations. It is truly a blessing.
Call upon the power of the violet flame!! 🎉

In the cross portion of this ritual why is Vegedulh used and not Netzhech it is the opposite side of Gebura (Forgive my spelling). Are we utilizing the Sephera on the tree of life ?
Thank you so much for this

Gratitude
You are incredible.
So helpful
@@LiftingtheLamp Yes thank you, now i get the idea 💡
Why is starting with the left and not the right
Beautiful!!
Thanks
Thank you so much! Quick question.. what does “Ello Rin” means on the first pentagram?
Just noticed my answer in your description :)
My question is i thought you started drawing the pentagram from the top down, as if you're pulling energy down from above. You did it and notated it the other way?
Please do sword banishing ritual
would it be possible to have the words you said transcribed ?
ATEH MALKUTH VE-GEBURAH VE-GEDULAH LE OLAHM
AUM
ELOHIM
ADONAI
EHEIEH
AGLA
Before me RAFAEL
Behind me GABRIEL
At my right hand MICHAEL
At my left hand URIEL
For about me flames the pentagram
And within me shines the six-rayed star
ATEH MALKUTH VE-GEBURAH VE-GEDULAH LE OLAHM
AUM
@@LiftingtheLamp I've been looking all over for this since I've been practicing daily and have trouble remembering the words. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Any reason why you didn’t complete the circle before doing the QC?
Does the time spent in ritual, longer, make it any more of less effective for you?
Spending more time in ritual can certainly make it stronger, provided you remain fully invested in it and don't simply go into autopilot (which can be a danger in some longer rituals)
Do you consisntely do this ritual with your eyes open? Or do you close them normally off camera for the sake of better relaxation into the feeling of your visual?
Could u make a video about the lesser invokation ritual? It is pretty hard to find material about it
Get Damien Echols book high magik
Thanks 😊

Why there’s so many different variation of it ? Which one is the one
Thank you sir.
I notice you don't raise your finger in a gesture of silence after saying the names after tracing the pentagram as instructed in brother Crowley's writings. Just curious. Keep up the good work.
Is this helpful for possible hexes or black magical attack on my family ?
Does it matter if you do the ritual with the left or right hand?
So before I do an invocation I do a banishing ritual. After the invocation ritual I send out my spell / wish / ritual, then after that, I do a banishing ritual again to make sure no energies stayed behind?
I just want to make sure: if I want to send out a spell to change someone so they can realize that they are doing wrong towards someone else. Do I just do a Banishing R, invocation R then I say what I want to be done(how or in what form or language do I do it?) And once done I close with a Banishing R again? If you could help with this please. Thanks very much
.
Thank you

Why there’s so many different variation of it ?
Do you change the directions as fire in the north earth in the south
I have heard of people doing this with certain rituals if they live in the southern hemisphere. Personally I have not really incorporated it into my own practice because I see the zodiacal symbols as more of a cultural rather than a purely cosmological concept. But when calling upon more macrocosmic forces (not so much elemental) in the southern hemisphere I can see value in aligning the practice with the actual positions of the fixed signs
I’m super new to this. I read there’s an invoking version and a banishing version. What’s the difference?
In a nutshell, invoking is calling the energy in and banishing is asking that same energy to leave
Please write the words down so I say it properly
Please see the video description for the words and for more of an explanation of this particular version of the LBRP :)
Perfectly done and very easy to follow. Many Thanks :)
You're welcome!
good job.
Thanks!
Is it really so simple...?
Where can i buy your white clothes?
How important is it to step forward? My room is so small i don't have the space ❤
Stepping forward is not important, so long as you can make the other movements
Brother isnt "JHVH" on the East not "Elohim"??? I mean in original script of Golden Dawn teachings, etc??
Yes it is; see the note in the video description
What is this for?
How do we know it's not the opposite
Stupid question, but Ive seen this done with a dagger, does that make a difference or not? And if so, does a knife work? Lol
Yes it works. It cuts the physical reality and creates a darker star
